Save A Lot

I’m new to the area, I’ve been looking for a great Latino owned supermarket that’s close, and a friend told me about Save a lot. I love it so much, very clean, great prices, wonderful shopping experience. Not to mention this wonderful young man named Alex even helped me with my groceries. He was so nice I remembered his name lol! I don’t even think he worked at the register, he saw I needed help and just stepped in like the perfect gentleman. I’ll definitely shop there again.

Haven't had the need to come here since prepandemic, but after stopping in for a couple of items I was very impressed on what a great job they're doing renovating the store. 75 to 80% is already done and it's a totally different environment

I'm so happy that I was able to come to this store . I always lobe save a lot it save me alot of money n I can buy alot of food and product that i use, even thought I don't live in Meriden i live in new britain I still come here I miss the one we had in N.B. lm so happy I'm close by n keep the good job bless.

Used to shop at the save a lot in manchester until it closed. Changed to East Hartford store and was disappointed. Found this location and was very please. I went at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday and found the employees to all be helpful and working. Very impressed. Store was well stocked and clean. Nice job.

My experience at Save-A-Lot just move to Meriden love the store love the prices.

Is a good discount food store with lots of choices and courteous staff

Can't beat the prices here. Compares to what you get else where EX: 10 LB potatoes $2.00 russets LG potatoes and @Stop&Shop would be ?$5.00 I really find some great stuff. No matter where you go there's little things not perfect. Can't beat beef ribs I got for $1.99 for huge PKG weigh 5-6 lbs where else can you get the deal. I'm a fan I can have food for almost entire month.

Cashiers are always nice. The store needs more deli meat or bread selections overall ok.

It's nice to have a grocery store on this side of town. It's not Stop n Shop but they have the basics. If you shop the perimeter you can find produce, meats, dairy, and baked goods. The staff are courteous and helpful.

Great prices in the frozen section for after school ... clean, everyone wears a mask ...

down side they charge you $.20 per bag ... the cashier said they charge $.10 tax per bag

Save-A-Lot my favorite place to go and buy food at a reasonable price the problem is with Steve a lot in bearing a plaza where U-Haul is taking over they made it so difficult to go into the store they have bump bump stopper everywhere so it's kind of hard on your car every time you go over 1 don't understand of reason but I wish they would relocate thanks U-Haul from messing up Save-A-Lot

I do like what they have for snack and soda options and food choice variety in general

Still think save a lot is better than Aldi's. Fast and easy for people on a budget

Never wait in line long and usually have what I need for a great price😊

Good place to shopping but only one pain you have to suffer as they will open one register even though staff are running here and there but they will not open 2nd register even there is long line .

Low prices if that's what you need. Limited choices but that's how you get the lowest prices available

Love it but they need to hire more people but they do try and to what they need to do even tho they short handed
