Effie's Place Family Restaurant

Really good breakfast, dog friendly, gluten free friendly. We sat outside so we could bring our dog. The omelette was soft and flavorful, the fruit ripe. No watery coffee either. Plentiful and strong. They even had gluten free French toast. Waitress was great with our dog too! :)

Effie's Place is a nice solo eating place. I'm always looking for good food and atmosphere to eat solo. I had the special Eggnog French toast and fried chicken wings. They both were delicious 😋. But I think I really like my server the best.She not only came back to see if I needed anything but she genuinely asked if I enjoyed my food. Her sincerity was refreshing (it lifted my spirits).

My Wife and I discovered this restaurant through Grubhub. They have a Wide selection. So far everything we've tried is excellent. My Wife recommends the Falafel Wrap. I love the Lasagna. I love that some plates come small or large. Today was the first time I dined in the restaurant. The staff were friendly and prompt. The place was very clean, and had a nice atmosphere.

Cravings for a good breakfast were definitely satisfied! This place is fantastic...cozy outdoor seating on a beautiful day! The service and food were wonderful!!! Had the Big John to satisfy the beast lol...

Got take out, but the diner was so cute and quaint. The servers and staff were friendly and quick to help me get my order, and the food was delicious! Definitely coming back!

No complaints. Like a Greek diner feel. The gyro was great. Pita was fantastic. Came for lunch, left satisfied.

Great house made spanakopita. The menu has a great variety of good options. Clean. Our server was awesome even though we came in 30 min before closing. Sole was great, garlic feta fettuccine with added shrimp and chicken wasn't cheap but was terrific. Nice family oriented Greek restaurant I'll be back.

Outstanding! We needed a 9x12 lasagna, salad, and appetizers on short notice for my mom’s 95th birthday and they pulled us out of the fire. It was all fantastic. Everyone loved everything. Thank you again!!

I cooked in restaurants like Effie’s for about 5 years, pursued a culinary/hospitality career path, consider myself a foodie, and have managed people in fast paced environments for more than 27 years.

I have also been to Effie’s at least a dozen times, usually for breakfast. The food, service, and atmosphere are top notch. A few key words that come to mind are Dependable, predictable (I know what to expect), and delightful. It is always a pleasure and I look forward to dining there with family or friends. You can’t go wrong and you won’t be disappointed.

Their winter specials of peppermint waffles and egg nog French toast were excellent. The restaurant was extremely welcoming and they were very accommodating and helpful with anything we needed.

Delicious greek food. Fresh and great price. The service was phenomenal. not the biggest place but most comfortable I promise. The atmosphere is wonderful. I will be returning:)

Effie herself makes all the desserts.
Her son John attends to all aspects of this lovely restaurant.

My husband and I were recommended by friends to check this place out . Let me tell you the food is delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was so welcoming and gave a home vibe. And the service was the best we have had, compared to other restaurants.
My husband and I ordered the mozzarella sticks ( so yummy) and the Buffalo wings that were fresh 😋. We had the broccoli cheddar soup- the best soup . And of our main course , husband had the meatloaf and he loved it . I had to 8 Oz steak well done and it was not dry, nice and juicy. For drinks my husband had the wine and I had the seasonal Mimosa. I forgot the name of it but it was blue with a sugar rim . I loved it !
My husband and I are picky about our restaurant foods, and Effie's hit the spot,I mean even the coffee there is good. I highly recommend this place.

The waiter, Jerry was on point with service, he was nice and made us feel welcome. Definitely coming back to Effie's for round 2 and this time I am going to get dessert ( the lemon pie). Thank you Jerry for the excellent service!
