Food Lion

It's one of the better stores in Greensboro. Lots of great selection at good price. The hot section has awesome oven and fried foods. You have to catch those deals early in the day while their hot. Excellent place!

Nearly everything I want in a grocery store -- fresh produce and meats, good selection on competing products, frozen products are frozen, good sales, great BOGO free offers, fast checkout, clean store, a normally friendly staff, no funky odors, clear aisles, and plenty of parking. One of my favorite grocery stores.

I can't condone Food however, I can vouch for their fair prices. Several money saving options are offered through weekly discounts, digital coupons and MVP rewards. My wife started shopping at Food Lion in April and saved over $740 by December. With inflation, shopping smart is a must. Fortunately, Food Lion provides all the necessary tools to get the best price possible. (Which totally makes up for all the lies the food told 😂) add on... I went there today and a going gentlemen by the name of Cameron assisted me in finding some protein bars for my son. He was excellent and made going to this store the right choice. His customer service makes the difference in where we will choose to go again. He is the model example of how a person should be treated. Thank you good sir for being you. That's a win for today...!!!

Only place where I can get Hagen Das creamy 🥭 mango ice cream. Very yummy and tasty.

This is solely for Durfante (?) Not sure how to spell it. This young man was excellent! Very attentative, knowledgeable and quick to assist in my produce needs. People who care about their job and the customer with a quick helping hand are hard to come by these days. I'm sure he will be an asset to Food Lion and move up in company. Great job Durfante!

Love going in the store nice staff they keep it clean. And one of the managers, he is fine. I go in their just to see him.

Dropped my credit card and it fell right into the tiny slot between the scanner/scale and the self checkout mounting frame. The staff spent 15-30 minutes dismantling the machine to finally get it out. I greatly appreciate their persistence, otherwise I would have had to spend the weekend without my credit card, time and hassle to cancel the old one, and have the bank send me a new one.

Great place to shop. I am they even carry my dogs favorite refrigerated dog food! The staff is very friendly and helpful too. And being Food Lion their prices are reasonable. In other words an upscale shopping experience with low prices. Not a whole bunch more you could ask for.

🥰🥰🥰You never know what you might see in here 😄😄😄the energy is so relaxed the staff is friendly and social very helpful. Let's be honest we as humans can be slightly different in our expression of self and you just might bare witness to that here I mean it is a public place. No one seems to make a big deal of even the strangest things, long story short I move around this place like it's mine, and I feel quite comfortable knowing where things are and having a feeling of acceptance and safety here. Even I consider myself to be quite "different " 🤷🏽‍♀🤷🏽‍♀🤷🏽‍♀ and this is where I feel at home when shopping. The only FoodLion I shop at...Period!!! 😇😇😇

I'll tell you this. This is probably one of the most cleanest food lions. I shopped this food lions for about 4 years straight before moving on the other side of town..... I would not say it has the friendliest staff (maybe a few people) ... But I will say if quality is of concern you will not be disappointed... Enjoy

Going out of town to work and told cashier 0110 who I worked for and she was very kind and thank me for my hard work and told me without my company she wouldn’t be able to provide for her family and gave me 2 rolls of quarters to do my laundry after I been to 4 previous stores looking for quarters...She was very kind and professional as was the short blonde lady wearing glasses I didn’t catch her name but they were both very pleasant and made my shopping experience great!! I was in the store on 8/29/20 at17:10:44 Plz commend these great ladies and let them know yourselves as upper management in good lion they are appreciated sincerely from my family

I'm definitely a Food Lion girl. Their produce dept has improved 100% in the past few years! Their prices are much lower than Harris Teeter's though H.T. surely has more selections. Still, I like the local neighborhood feel of F.L. The employees are always friendly which is really important to me... Go!!!

Wow this place took great care of me AND my dog! I've never felt so we'll groomed and happy, they brought my groceries right on OUT to me it was so neat. The guy that put grocer in my trunk was real cool, he likes super smash Bros which is really neat so do I, he smelled wonderful as well, wish I could have gotten his name as he deserves a compliment

When I go back to Greensboro to visit my daughter that's where I like to go shop and get my groceries

The prices are super affordable. The store is pretty clean. It is one of the nicest Food Lions in Greensboro. They are open until midnight so that is later than others. The employees most days are super nice and do not mind helping you. The grocery items are good and the meats look fresh.
