Central Flats

I have lived at central flats for almost a year now and I have been very pleased with the apartment and management. Any maintenance issues I have had have been resolved very quickly. The maintenance staff has also been very helpful/friendly when I have had issues. The apartment overall is very nice for the price range and is very close to downtown/campus. The only reason I give it 4/5 stars is due to the homeless population that lives nearby, but I have talked with management and they have said they are working on resolving the issue.

Very pleasant place to live.

Not only do they not care about the tenants, the fill in male property manager is rude and deserves to lose his job for the way he talks to tenants who pay their rent early. Especially a tenant who has had a maintenance request in for over a month and has been nothing but patient to a staff who does not respond to you. Look at the damage that they did “fixing” my air conditioner. It has gaps that are leaking air which hikes up my utility bill.
Do not sign a lease here you will absolutely regret it

This management is horrible! Forces you to pay by money order or check and caused me to have to walk over 4 miles to get the rent paid every month since they would no longer accept ACH payments electronically.
Then they sent me a notice to vacate with ten days to leave for phone conversation about it they did not like. There were no threats made just stating an opinion over the policy and asking for a change.

I have been living at this residence for almost year now, and have greatly enjoyed my experience here. My neighbors also seem very nice and respectful of one another, which makes for a vibrant miniature community. And my expenses are minimal with free internet. Laundry services were improved within the last year as well by outstanding communication efforts by the management company here. Great lighting and convenient off street parking helps my peace of mind also while resting.

Cheap place to live if you have too.If you can though, go elsewhere. Oh make sure to lock up all your stuff, especially your car.
The management may offer you a discount on rent if you write a positive review for them. That could sound like a pro, but its really a con.

WORST PLACE TO BE. Poor poor maintenance, almost month passed and service requests not addressed. Dirty hallways, staircase occupied by unknown people now and then. Pretty scary in the evening, with drunken people yelling, puking around.... Garbage all around.
