My first time here and I definitely will be coming back again. Will, the owner is such a wonderful and friendly man. He made my friends and I feel so welcomed. The food was wonderful and the tea was great. Thank you for such a lovely experience Will.

Loved coming down on a saturday. My girlfriend and I split a pot of blue eyes and it was quite delicious. After we had gone through the first pot, we got the complimentary refill and decided we should get some real food. We agreed on the salad and my work it was quite delicious. The owner is a lovely guy and if you have definitely come by and sit down, enjoy some tea, and have a great time

Lovely and charming owner whom my friend and I really enjoy having a conversation with. The food was delicious, tea ingredients and flavour was thoughtfully put together and the scones! I usually hate scones but these were moist and fluffy.
Seating outside was also super pleasant and spacious (enough to fit strollers too).

Loved everything about this place! Would recommend and would definitely come back when in the Bay Area!

Leland Tea is a gem in Burlingame CA! The tea is amazing and Will, the owner, even makes me gluten free food upon request. He is very knowledgeable in making healthy sweet treats. My recommendations for tea are:

Black Tea: Black Orchid & Breakfast at Tiffany's
Green Tea: Billie Holiday & Jasmine Pearl
White Tea: Coco Blanc & Garbo's Peachy Blend
Herbal Tea: Body & Soul, Chamomile & Mint

You can have your tea hot or iced, both very delicious!

Leland has wonderful outside seating and bar seating inside. I love coming here for a pot of tea while getting work done. The ambiance can either be as productive as you wish or laid back.

I came in to get some tea, and walked away having had an amazing experience.

Just discovered this gem when an English friend flew into town, and we wanted proper high tea. It exceeded our wildest expectations — huge selection of fantastic tea, delicious scones and jam made in house, perfect egg salad on super fresh greens and exquisite hand made truffles and honey. The owner’s passion and knowledge for tea and baking was extraordinary — and he generously educated us on everything from steeping tea to infusing honey to flavoring truffles. (If you are gluten free and want a baked item - call in advance). Can’t wait to return!

I can't rate the food as of yet because I'm gluten free and that's not part of their usual fare, but Will told us that if I let him know I'm coming he'll have something for me.

The atmosphere is lovely, this little tucked away space, like a secret gem. Lots of plants, mostly music in French, lot of wood based on the construction. Mostly outdoor seating with some protection from the wind.

Will is the sweetest and most accommodating guy I've met. He knows his teas and you can tell him what you're looking for, and he'll be happy to mix you a blend. He's so friendly and happy to connect to folks. For LGBTQ+ folks, he's good people (I frequently bring my dates here). I always feel taken care of here and happy to spend an hour slowly drinking a $9 large pot of tea in a lovely space .

VERY cute spot for a fancy tea. Was here for an event and the back patio is nearly perfect for a friend's mom's birthday. All the finger sandwiches you expect, excellent teas, super-kind, personable staff.

The English Tea for two was delicious with lovely sandwiches and scones. He chose the perfect tea for us. A lovely experience and great place to relax with friends.

The 20's jazz atmosphere, the food, the hospitality of the owner William, and of course the Tea! are all incredible.
Will and his mother are truly magnificent, and even being served by them is such a treat. He is attentive and friendly, and will be constantly checking in to make sure you're having a good time. My wife’s go to tea place. She loves the Raspberry Beret. There is a wide variety of blended teas. You can also get afternoon tea with tea sandwiches and scones, a rare treat. Will the owner is a phenomenal host. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Quite a Tea selection! fresh and very good. they bring you a whole pot! not one of those tiny little tin things. Salad was excellent with an extra little flair like little baby green tomatoes and homemade dressing. Sandwiches were good too. mama in the back is a wonderful person, who makes you feel like you're walking into somebody's home. Highly recommended!! if you're a coffee person, they have a great smoky strong tea thats a great coffee substitute, but why would you do that when you're in a great place with over 40 varieties of tea? And they're all good? Great ambiance. Check them out.

This place has that wonderful kind of casual that's hard to find at a tea house. You can go and be yourself and still experience the rest of the typical tea experience. If you want the fancy China and the stuffy atmosphere, this is not the place for you.

Will blends the tea himself so if you have any questions he can answer them.

They can make gluten-free options of the food for you if you are allergic - if you warn them a day or more in advance - except for the scones. He hasn't found good gluten-free flour that still gives you the consistency you want in a scone. His honesty is so refreshing!

This place is amazing!!! Everything they make, from the sandwiches to the salads to the baked goods, jam and even the tea selection, is homemade and fresh. Ingredients are from the farmers market and the service​ is wonderful. Cozy place with wonderful background music and a beautiful outdoor space perfect for enjoying the summer. Incredible tea selection and delicious baked goods!! I've been here twice, and would come again many, many times.

Will and the staff were incredibly helpful and excited to share information on the different teas. I highly recommend getting the pecan chocolate chip cookie when they have it in stock! Also the gluten free loaf was 🤤 pair any of these with the perfect cup of tea. Thanks again for the great experience 🌸

Just had a bridal shower thrown here. Used the outside area which had lots of space. Will his mother and staff were lots of help and fun! Tea and set up was gorgeous. We did decorate and added our own to the set up will already has! I would definitely throw another party here! Feels like family ❤

Love this place. It's hidden behind DiDi's hair salon, in Burlingame. The food is great and the teas are amazing. You can create your own blend if you like. My grandkids love there blue eyes tea on ice. They call it princess tea. The finger sandwiches, salad and pastries. Taste great. Everything is very clean. They make you feel like part of the family. Loved. When you ask Ms. Carmen what she puts in the food she saids lots of love. It can't get better than that. Thanks for being part of our community.

Delicious food and desserts, but most importantly, amazing tea. Their coco-blanc tea is hands down my favorite tea. I usually drink at least two large teapots of it while I'm there with my wife and friends. This is my go-to spot to hang out with friends and family.
