Waterside Grill

Great selection of items to choose from. My husband ad the ribs and said they were really tasty. I had Jerry's BBQ nachos, and they were good. The outdoor seating is nice overlooking the water and the boats. All outdoor seating is high top table and chairs, and the chairs are definitely uncomfortable. There's a boat ramp right beside the restaurant.

Went by boat and discovered some new and improved docking which was nice! I ordered the pulled pork quesadilla and it was loaded with meat. Very good! Husband ordered the crab cake dinner and it came with 3 delicious cakes. They were fried just right and loaded with crab meat. We liked each others dishes so much we ended up switching. Waitress was nice and attentive. We'll be back for sure!

Friendly service and great food. A nice place to have a bite and a cold beer. The raspberry dressing was very good, fries hot and crispy. Red fish platter was delicious and so was the burger. Will go there again soon!

Best BQ ribs in South West Florida ..

We had eaten at the Waterside Grill several years ago when visiting the Placida area and now within the last month, we've eaten here 3 times. The food is so good, beer is cold and the service is excellent. We love the outdoor dining on the water and that you can make a choice of when to come in to dine during the not so busy times, because it is busy.

Highly recommend this place to bring family and friends to enjoy the great food and outdoor dining.

Great local restaurant on the water. The smokers are right out front and what comes out of them is really really good. Nice bar with several taps and full range of cocktails. The menu is full range with local sea food, hamburgers, cuban sandwiches etc.. Fantastic staff and the locals don't bite. Go here for sure.

Real nice time. We went in late June and it was quiet for a Wednesday night. The waterside view is a canal view of boat docks. Food was good with no complaints. UPDATE: Went back in January of 2020. Name is now Smokin Jerry's Waterside Grill and the smoked food very good. I have increased to 5 stars. Much better menu.

Hot off the boat drinks were cold and food was good.

The staff were friendly and helped each other out, so nobody was waiting long for food or service. The food was great Ave fresh. We'll be back in a couple of days since it's not far from the airport.

Food was great and priced right for prime rib. Service was really slow though. Waitress was hard to find especially after I asked for something simple like a glass for my beer since the piece of orange would not fit in the bottle. Common sense. Took a long time just to get a glass.

The location gives this restaurant it's amzing atmosphere from nature. The food is always great. Since the new owner it has really stepped up. The standout is their ribs. Many claim to have the best ribs in the world, so I won't get into that fight. But, oh baby ... these are good, you pickup a bone and the meat falls off. And the price!!! We don't buy raw ribs anymore. We just buy them coooked from Waterside ... cheaper than raw ribs from Walmart! Our service this trip was OK but they were understaffed, so it was a little slow. This is unusual. This place is always top of our list for eating out.
