I had great food here, wish it stayed open for dinner too, I believe it closes at 6:00. The empanadas were wonderful ( had 3, spinach, beef and ham and cheese) as was the Cuban sandwich. The dessert was very good as well.

The owner was so nice and helpful. I really felt like family here. Felix sent us home with two cherry pastries which we devoured later that night. How nice for him to give us a take home dessert. We expect to be back next week. Loved the place and the service.

Visiting from CT and decided to support a small local Cuban eatery. I am so glad we stopped in. Felix the owner greeted us with a huge welcome and prepared delicious coffees for us. He introduced us to his wife Maria which cheffed up a couple Cuban breakfast sandwiches for us. Highly recommend this place for breakfast, coffee and their cheese sticks! Super friendly, clean, and delicious!

Don’t sleep on this place! This place is the most charming stop for coffee and Cuban snacks! It really was a nice surprise since they had the cortadito Cuban coffee and cafe con leche we were hoping to find. I highly recommend the cheese sticks! The owner, Felix was even kind enough to put together breakfast sandwiches for ya using their delicious Cuban bread. Be sure to stop in next time you’re in the area!

The owner Felix is absolutely amazing. His energy is magnetic. You will always come back because he's such a phenomenal guy. The food is breathtaking. I had the ropa vieja. It was muy sabroso. Some of the best beef, rice, y beans. If you're in the area you need to come on through. Some of the best Cuban food in Florida. The restaurant is super clean. I had a fresh melon beverage and it tasted like I was biting into a actual watermelon. I love this place and you definitely will too. This place is filled with peace and delicious food. You won't be disappointed.

We have been 3 times, all excellent. Cuban sandwich, steak sandwich & ham & cheese empanadas all delicious, reasonably priced and filling. Owner is so friendly and welcoming that it is a joy to visit this cafe.

I found this little gem 💎 visiting my in-laws in Port Charlotte. It’s authentic Cuban food and this is coming from a Cuban. Their con bistec is my favorite! I had it for dinner and the day we left, we stopped for a cafe con leche and some yummy empanadas. I can’t wait to visit my in-laws again and try more of the menu at Gaspy’s.

My family and I highly recommend you stop by and try it for yourselves.

We happened to show up for a late lunch, when the owners had just gotten a chance to relax for a few minutes after lunch rush and clean up was done. Maria and Felix hopped right up to greet our family and get to know us a bit while we made our food choices for the meal. The atmosphere is nice, very clean, airy and coastal. The food was great, our choices included a pressed cuban sandwich, ham croquettes, beef empanadas and mojito chicken with black beans and rice. Everything was great!! We were offered a guava pastry to try for free at the end of the meal (if you like guava, don't hesitate, you'll be in pastry heaven). We finished off with perfectly prepared cuban espresso. We will definitely be back...Thanks Maria and Felix for making us feel not only welcome but very wanted!

This place was so amazing! The food is incredible and the lovely people running it make you feel like they are welcoming you into their home. While we waited for our order, we got to try a new recipe (fried squash with the most amazing sauce ever). Highly recommend!

We love this little joint, as soon as we came inside the owner greed us with a warm good morning. We felt so welcome!
The coffee was wonderful yummy cortadito! plus the food was so tasty we had empanadas ham&cheese and beef also we took some cuban sandwiches to go, everything was great. The place is so well decorated and very clean

First time to this restaurant- very friendly gentleman at the counter! Had a spinach empanada and the Cuban sandwich both of which were very good. We’re not experienced with Cuban foods but found what we ate to be very clean and not greasy at all. Walked away content and feeling healthy- thanks much!

Gaspy's is my favorite little eating spot every time I travel to Port Charlotte with my family. Their food is absolutely delicious. They have just the right touch of culinary flavors and their variety in foods always gives me nostalgia taking me back to the authenticity of my hometown in Miami FL. Gaspy's definitely stirs the melting pot of the Hispanic culture by incorporating only the best ingredients in all of their recipes, making any foodie lover come back for more. Buen Provecho!

Authentic cuisine with a flare of southern hospitality. Great place to relax and enjoy yourself, while sipping on a Cortadito and eating a Cuban Sandwich. Bottom line: This place is a must see and inspires repeat visits.

loved the place...excellent menu choices, the steak sandwich and cuban sandwich were tops and I’ve had them all over So.Fla, the bread fresh and soft, and nice plate presentation....the rope vieja was excellent, and plentiful...two people can share easily....prices reasonable...no complaints, wish Felix and Maria the best!
