Silver Mill Restaurant

We were passing by and stumbled upon this gem! We had the shrimp scampi, tenderloin special with grilled brussel sprouts and cauliflower on a savory sauce, and the soup flight. My husband usually doesn't like veggies and he ate it up! The dishes were all very beautifully presented and super delicious! The staff was also very personable and friendly. We were glad we stopped by - what a great dining experience!

I ordered a Bayern Helles and sirloin steak, mash, and veggies. The waitress asked me if I wanted to upgrade the sirloin cut to a picanha cut for a bit more. It was topped with some chive flowers sauteed in butter, and it was delicious. I plan to grow some chives so I can try to make this at home.

My veggie child got the pepper jack garden cheesburger, and fries. They were very happy, and finished their food, before starting to nibble on my mash and veggies.

It was a little slow, which I think is great. I had time to quiz the waitress about the ingredients (I thought the steak was topped with garlic blossoms, not chive blossoms), and spent some time talking to the (I'm guessing) owner about the selection of gins and tequilas.

I have some gins and tequilas to buy now.

Everything was fantastic! I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. Chicken was juicy and the hot chicken sauce was super flavorful. My wife got the steak sandwich and it was also cooked to perfection. My mother-in-law got the chicken plate. She loved the greens, one of the sides it came with, so much she ordered another helping. Service was also great and friendly. I will absolutely be back again and recommend everyone stop in and give it a go!

After spending the day wandering around Phillipsburg, we stopped in at the Siler Mill for a late lunch. It has the dark wood and rich leather feel of an excellent steakhouse and bar, but we experienced it as exhausted parents. The staff knew what we'd need and found an out-of-the-way corner for us to setup with two adults, an infant, and a toddler. The food was just right. And if you ask for it, they have the best cups and bendy straws for kids.

We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner/party there. The food was very good, the service also. The atmosphere, with a fabulous live band (local, even!) was fun - there was also an option to dress up in 20’s garb and have our picture taken and printed out (included with dinner!). The owner and the chef came out to talk with us (and apparently we were already well know because of the international party that called and left a message for a reservation). All in all a very pleasant way to spend the early New Year’s Eve with our son.

Great burger and chicken lunches. Tomato Bisque is homemade. Prime rib on Thursdays. Great staff - They deserve a raise.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Appetizers and drinks were spot on, service was absolutely lovely.

So great to have a dinner option in Philipsburg. Nice atmosphere and the Cajun seafood pasta was excellent.

Had a late Sunday afternoon lunch with my girlfriend-everything was outstanding! Their fried chicken was simply delicious, and moist. I had the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich which was incredibly tasty. The blueberry cobbler was to die for. Good beer and wine selection and fresh cocktails. We're definitely returning! Would definitely recommend this restaurant/grill/bar!

The food was amazing along with the servers being very enjoyable to be around. I had the grilled chicken sandwhich with fries and it was very good. We also had the crunchy mozzarella bite which were delicious. Just to finally add the root beer was really good.

Had a small wedding reception here with our family. Dinner was fabulous and the service was top notch! The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for for our event. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was cooked to absolute perfection.

Great food and excellent service! It was super busy on Saturday during the Blues Brews and BBQ event and our server Misty was incredible!

We had the best flat iron steak and wontons. Absolutely delicious preparation of the steak. Will return for sure! The husband and wife that run it are so nice and welcoming.

Best food we've ever had in Montana. It was a wonderful experience and a charming space on top of the great food. Tony, the chef, came out and talked to us. He really knows what he's doing. My husband was hesitant about getting seafood in a small town in a landlocked state...but he got the shrimp-scallops New Orleans and it was AMAZING. The shrimp and scallops were fresh and cooked to perfection. It felt like we were back in New England. I got the special, a filet with crab and it was again cooked perfectly and delicious...I definitely stole some of my husbands dinner though. We ended up having to bring our 1 year old after loosing our babysitter for the night. We personally felt uncomfortable because there were two other tables, definitely out for a nice date, as we walked in with our son (it was a Sunday night) BUT the staff and Tony were so kind! They grabbed a highchair and brought out our food for him within 2 minutes to keep him occupied. He did much better than we thought he'd do. They made it clear that children are welcome, but personally, I would maybe avoid dinner dates with your 1 year old :-)

This was our second time there. We enjoyed a beverage at the bar before dinner. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. We then were treated to a great meal by chef Tony. The beef was perfectly cooked and the meatballs had a great flavor.

Historic building, lovingly restored, is the perfect setting for a truly fabulous meal. And spicy mac n cheese is back on the menu! Steak was very nicely done and even the salad was pretty and yummy. I love this place! Italian diner for 2 is one of my favorites

What a pleasant experience! We were in town for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food, the beer, the atmosphere and the owner! Jeremiah was such a joy to chat with. We will be back!

We are foodies and we loved this place! The Parmesan Crusted Halibut was better than the fresh fish we had in Harbour Island. The service was good, and the chef came out to talk to us and recommend menu items. He even made me a special plate of both the specials--the Parmesan Crusted Halibut and the Huckleberry Duck. You get what you pay for here; we plan on going back soon.
