Bartolo's Bar & Grill

We were very pleased with the meal. We ordered steak tacos and shrimp fajitas. The food was presented well and tasted delicious. Veggies were fresh and crisp. Meat was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The house sauce was amazing. The staff was very pleasant. This is AUTHENTIC cuisine!!!👏👏👏

Love that they had an outside area. The food tasted pretty good and it was a perfect before our hike. They were very nice to us and also filled our cups with ice as we prepared for our day journey.

UPDATE: They are under new management. I called to place an order and had the pleasure of speaking with Jessica. She was very professional and had a very personable demeanor. She easily and quickly answered my questions about the food items showing her knowledge about the menu. She stated that they now have new chefs making the items. They have kept all of the Mexican dishes and no longer serve any of the Italian ones. (Makes sense for a Mexican restaurant.) These are family recipes and you can tell. Muy delicioso!!!!! I had the Special La Hacienda. It was two ground beef enchiladas topped with queso. I also ordered chips and salsa. Everything was fresh and delicious. They have a vast menu including a children’s menu. Something for everyone including vegetarians. They are now offering free delivery within ten miles. This is wonderful!!!

We came during off hours around 4:00 on a weekday. We were hungry and wanted some Mexican food but had never been here before or heard of it. My wife got the quesadilla Verde and I got a fajita salad bowl. It came also with chips and salsa. The entrees were delicious and tasted very homemade. Recommend this little gem off the beaten path in Mount Jackson

The food was great & Jessica was the best. She was super helpful and friendly. Very knowledgeable and professional. I’m glad they dropped the Italian and focused more on Mexican & burgers. Can’t wait to go back to enjoy this place again!

Bartolo’s was a great welcoming experience for my boyfriend and I. While visiting the area we were unsure about a great Mexican restaurant but we came to find Bartolo’s as an amazing place to dine. The atmosphere was cozy with very attentive service. Thank you Jessica for the great experience and conversation and for making our visit welcoming.

Jessica, Amanda and Jasmine provided such great service. It was my friend’s birthday and they went as far as allowing her make a song request!! They were very nice to us.

I had the pleasure if having not only outstanding customer service but the manager Jessica greeted us and ensured we were having a great time! The food was already a 10/10, the experience and customer service drove that to an 11/10

My husband and I went 2 times. One time to try the Mexicanand then to try the Italian. Both nighta we has a great time. The staff was pleasant and the food was very yummy.
The margaritas were good. Reasonably priced.

Amazing food! Wonderful service, you can see the staff working together as a team and management is quick to jump in to help support the staff and provide customer service at a moment’s notice. Fantastic place!

Authentic, delicious. The mole was on point. All our entrees were wonderful. Proper Margaritas. Friendly staff, engaging. Visiting from Pennsylvania. Will definitely stop back again before we head back home.

IT WAS AMAZING ! First time going and the manager was great . The prices were so good ! And not expensive. Food was delicious. I’m so impressed . Thank you guys ! Your great ! Definitely coming more often. Oh and they make there stuff fresh ! Which was definitely what I needed ! Gosh I love that place !

My husband had taco’s and I had enchiladas we could tell the food was made from scratch we highly recommend the restaurant. We had it delivered so we didn’t comment on atmosphere.

Best taco I have ever had. Everything was delicious, and everyone was nice. Jessica, the manager, was particularly attentive.

Service and food is fantastic. They are short staffed but work very well together to keep things moving quickly. Food came out fast. Drinks were amazing. Very highly recommend!

Visiting from out of town. Being in Virginia from the Chicagoland area it was hard to find good food in these areas. Gave this place a try. I was skeptical of the Mexican , Italian, and American menu. But we had a large party and between us all ended up with all three. Everything was homemade fresh and cooked to order. Being from Chicago this is crazy to say but this place had some of the best pastor I have ever eaten. Highly recommend if you don’t stick to the cheaper simple Mexican options.

Stopped by here after snowboarding and had some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Virginia, definitely a hidden gem!
