Main Street Diner

First time in the Main Street diner. Nice little mom and pop restaurant in a small town. Friendly staff and good food and homemade desserts. This place had a 5 star review average on Yale.

Cozy, friendly place in a nice little town with a good breakfast selection (I was desperate for an American breakfast, complete with biscuits and gravy!). Prices slightly high (though I suppose that could be said for most places these days) and, though the waitress was very friendly and personable, the service was quite slow, despite very few customers. But we were on vacation and not in a hurry, so it didn't bother us too much.

We had a lovely conversation with some locals at a nearby table. They were so sweet and friendly, and asked us all about our trip. Later, they left and we carried on at our table a while. Then I asked for the bill and the waitress told me that that family had already paid our bill. I was SO touched! I just burst into tears. People don't do things like that here in the UK. It was one of the best moments of our trip! This act of kindness and generosity is the epitome of what Americans are, in my opinion.

Very easy to call in an order. Good customer service. Friendly staff. Best cheeseburgers in Chelsea. Affordable. Good portions. Lots of fries.

This is the kind of diner you hope to find in small towns: good, fresh food served by friendly people. It was a quiet evening when I stopped in, but there were still a couple of locals at the lunch counter discussing the news of the day.

I kept it simple with a burger basket and was rewarded with hand-cut french fries and a tasty crispy-edged cheeseburger on a toasted bun. It was perfect.

The authentic vibe, along with their rotating daily specials, will keep you coming back!

This was the first time I visited this little diner and the first time visiting the town due to a job I was doing there. It is a nice friendly diner there. The food was good and the price was not bad for what you get. I do recommend going to it. If I do get to stop back through there again. I will sure be eating here. Also, the sitting area is small inside so don't expect to come in with big numbers of friends or family at one time. Which is the way I like it.

My friend and I had cheeseburgers. The meat was thick and the burger was good. The onion rings were good. The fries are homestyle. Coffee is a bottomless cup. Service was excellent. It has a small town atmosphere, a little noisy at lunch hour, but it's a small building. The building has the old main street charm.

Nice little downtown diner. Went less than an hour before closing and everything was still great.

Really good crispy hash browns and was surprised to see sausage actually made from scratch. Fairly priced definitely be back.

It's a small town dinner, i will give them a 4 star review because I don't want to hinder traffic to this dinner that probably struggles in a small town like this, but what I will say is the food I picked up as it was carry out was delicious and I would eat it again but my order I had 2 we're both incorrect. So instead of leaving a review that could hinder the amount of guests choosing to dine here I'm leaving this message/ review hoping that employees or the owners see and read this and start to double check there orders before sending them to go

Delicious food our waitress was a priceless treasure always great service the food was absolutely delicious and the coconut cream pie was spectacular I went with my Red Hat Club we love that place can’t wait to go again

We got hungry during our time exploring the Oklahoma Adventure Trails, and we wandered into this little town, Chelsea. The food choices were pretty slim, and both places seemed to be diner-esque, so we just chose the one we were closest to at the time. And we were both so impressed! The food took a bit to cook, as they were busy and the waitresses were pretty swamped filling orders, bussing tables, and delivering food. But we had the time and enjoyed looking at the fun "diner" wall decor and watching them cook from the little bar seating area up front. The menu was extensive, something for everyone, and the food was all made to order. We found the prices to be VERY reasonable, and after ordering our own separate plates, decided next time we'd split something, they were HUGE portions! My husband and I both got onion rings and had to stop ourselves from gorging on all of them, they were SO delicious! The best onion rings I've ever had. The burger was fantastic, and my husband's steak sandwich looked great too. We wanted pie but were too full! (next time!) We got to talking to a waitress when we checked out and she was the granddaughter of the owner. Turns out it really is very much a family run business, as there are three families that are represented there. I love the fact that it's truly a local business supporting families, and I am so happy to have visited. We will be back for sure, any time we are up that way. Excellent!

I love this place. I have only lived in this town for 2 months, but this is one of my favorites already. The bartenders are the biggest reason I love this place. Although I do not drink alcohol, we're usually sort in the bar. Daniel remembers us each time and picks up conversations where we left off. He is a great asset to this place. The food is good. It is just a nice, clean place to go for a night out or just dinner in town. I have not been for breakfast on Sunday, but I hear it is great too.

This was a great place to eat! Very comfortable with a Mama's kitchen feel to it. They made us feel right at home. The help was friendly and the food was awesome. The portions were good size. We left very satisfied. Will definitely stop back in when we get up that way again.

I really love this place! The food is super tasty, the employees are so friendly, professional, and welcoming. The diner's environment is very comfortable. The cost of food is extremely reasonable. The only thing that I would say was a negative was one morning they burnt my hash browns...but things like that happen that one thing didn't change my opinion of the Main Street Diner! I will go to the Main Street Diner anytime!!

Always a great time with great food at the Main Street Diner! Love the atmosphere and all the waitresses are sweet hearts. Food is fantastic and you can really tell they care about their customers. They make you feel at home here for sure!

Oh my God. SOO GOOD!!! Homemade fried pickles and onion rings. They must use a beer batter because the fried batter is so light and crispy. There are LOTS of options. Something for everybody. Jan, one of the waitresses is such a sweetie.
