TAKUMI SUSHI AND BAR

The first thing I liked most was that everything was very clean. The second is that it was cozy and not as noisy as it happens in other places. The third is that the waiters were very nice people. Well, the fourth thing, although it should have been the first, is that everything was very tasty. My wife and I liked this place, so we think we will visit this place again in the future. Therefore, I can confidently recommend this sushi bar to you!

This place has really good ramen and sushi.
Definitely one of my favorite Asian places to go eat. If I can't decide what I want. They have a good selection but it's a little pricey

Best sushi restaurant in (what’s recently become) a sea of pretenders. Food and ambiance that transports you. Fresh, delicious, the only place for me if we’re talking sushi…

Try Salmon Crabbing, Baked Mussels, and Orange Snow.

It seems this place gets better and better every time I visit. The Vegas rolls, Salmon rolls and teriyaki salmon are my favorites. The house salad is delicious and I get it every time. But really everything is delicious and always fresh tasting.

Absolutely delicious.
I get the amaebi (sweet deepwater shrimp) almost every time we go here and it’s fantastic every time. Light, fresh, almost buttery the way it melts in the mouth. They prepare the heads really well too, you eat it shell and all for a crunchy, lobster-like flavor.

Bf tends to go for the salmon nigiri or the ginger tofu entree. The salmon teriyaki entree was great too!

Overall: good service, good location, good food!

The service here is always great. Tonight was no different. It seems these guys really like their jobs. Tonight, we had Tyler. He was simply fantastic! It's people Luke him that keep me returning, the food is good, the service better.

They turned me a sushi lover last month.
I never liked sushi. So... It tells a lot about them..Try their specials. Always ask the server if you are looking for cooked sushi, they will suggest the best ones. Highly recommend.

Seated near the bar are the best seats in the house. Omikase is good, and the quality and skill of the chefs have clearly gotten better over the last few years. Had a great lunch today, thank you!

I was extremely impressed with this unexpected find! I am not normally inclined to go to a place that is easiest to access from a high-end busy shopping area and needs a parking garage to best park. However, the parking was easy, the walk to restaurant was easy, and the service was quick and easy. The food is the reason to go back though...even if it was busy and hard to park, the food is worth it! The shrimp fried rice was absolutely delicious! I actually crave it now! Definitely on the top of our list for the Oregon area..and actually better than many we experienced in California and Texas!

We were a group of ten from out of town for the weekend, and we lucked out on a Sunday night. We called ahead and they were able to accommodate us with a table in ten minutes!

Because the group was so big, we put ourselves in the chef’s hands and ordered three Combo #3s - and about 12 rolls. Our server was a great curator of the menu and helped us make choices from their specialty menu so we would get a great variety and not much duplication.

Everything was DELICIOUS, fish was beautiful and fresh, and the rolls were tasty and not over-sauced.

We would absolutely go back next year when we return to Portland.

We visited for lunch on Saturday and arrived right before 1. It wasn't too busy so we were seated right away. The staff were very friendly and all had masks on. We felt very comfortable in the setting. Our waiter was the absolute best and was very attentive!

The food came out very quickly and was amazing! Often times you visit a sushi restaurant and right away you can tell the quality of the food is bad. Not this place! The seafood was fresh and delicious. The raw fish wasn't too fishy or rubbery.

The most surprising dish we ordered was the Ahi poke. The combination of the fish, dressing and seaweed salad turned out to be super refreshing. It wasn't too heavy at all.

We also ordered the Tangy Tang and Da Kine rolls. Both were superb! The rice was seasoned perfectly and even the vegetables used were fresh! The seared salmon just melts in your mouth! It's so buttery and delicious! The unagi was fresh and even had some charred bits on the edges which we quite enjoyed!

Lastly we ordered the Takumi Ahi tower. This is a definite recommend! It comes with a spicy mayo, wasabi, and unagi sauce which pairs perfectly with the ingredients in the tower. Plus it's a beauty so you can't beat that!

Very good establishment with friendly and helpful people. Food was great as well.

Went here for the first time and it was amazing. Our server Tyler also made the experience fun and he helped us find a sake that we like. We are definitely coming back here!

Very nice dining environment, service was amazing!!! We ordered a pot of hot tea, seaweed salad and Ginger Tofu , which was served on a sizzling hot plate and it came with rice and salad. Both salad and seaweed salad were great. The ginger tofu was sooooooo delicious. It was flavorful and the tofu was perfect and fresh. FYI, Ramen and miso are not vegetarian because of the broth. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Delicious food for a hungry belly, hot and ready to perfection I love the salmon dish or the lobster roll sooooo good. Would highly recommend this place. Ally and Tyler great servers so respectful and great at making recommendations!!

First thing, i had decided to go here on a whim and looked for food close to my work. I got off late and went to this place and let me tell you, i am impressed. The service was wonderful, the staff is very friendly and informative. The sushi chef has been doing this for over 20 years. The quality of fish is excellent, presentation is excellent a d the oveeall taste is amazing. I encourage you to visit and have this wonderful dining experience.

It’s been long due for dine-in sushi. Fish was so fresh and the sushi was super tasty. We were in sushi heaven. Restaurant was clean and adequately spaced for covid. Service was excellent. Make sure to make reservation ahead for dine in.

Good Japanese food to satisfy a craving and the hamachi kama was one of the best ones we had. The salad dressing was a bit Americanized for my taste. The sushi was typical... nothing great or bad.
