Wildly exceptional experience. From the outstanding communication even before the meal, to the accommodation of a last minute schedule change -the service alone would convince me to return.

For context, I arrived early for my reservation and was given two glasses of bubbly for my inconvenience of having to wait! I didn't ask, and I was just early, but they immediately made the tone very positive and friendly.

The age of the servers stands out to me -they're all quite young, but they all delivered exceptional service commiserate a seasoned pro.

The food was interesting, tasty, and fun, as was the drink.

The price seems too low for the area, the ambiance, the service, and food quality!! Just incredibly well done.

Lovely time. Came for Cindy’s Campfire Pie, ended up loving everything. The tomahawk was a tad pricey, $175 without substantial included sides (albeit for 2-3 people, so not astronomical). That said, it’s a tomahawk and it was well executed and delicious. Dungeness Crab Mafaldine was to die for, especially if you like a caper sauce. Salad was crisp and delicious with beautiful, bright herb garnishes. Cab Franc by the glass was fantastic. For St. Helena, reasonable prices for a great meal. Some reviews have mentioned the volume—it was indeed a smidge too loud, even for me, but to me that’s a matter of atmospheric preference and not design quality. Will definitely be back soon to try more of the seafood!

Enjoyed everything about Charlie’s. We started with the gem salad. I had the wagyu beef and my wife had the half beer can chicken. So good! Great wine list and the service was outstanding. We will be back to try the fried chicken and spiny lobster - the couple next to us ordered those dishes and they looked amazing. The restaurant is on the loud side as far a noise volume but that didn’t bother us. The food and service were worth it.

My fiancée Kelly and I celebrated our engagement at Charlie's, and we could not have made a better choice!

The service was incredible from the moment we were greeted by the hosts with glasses of sparkling wine. Our server, Ben, was wonderful and made our experience so special.

The atmosphere is charming and our food was excellent. Definitely recommend!

Everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the flatbread with the dipping sauce. The pasta fish was delicious. We shared a few mains and they were all delicious and beautifully presented. The decor is bright and lends to a chic ranch vibe. It’s a little loud in the main dining room. Maybe some fabric wall hangings could stop the voices from bouncing off the walls. Coconut sundae was our favorite of the desserts!

This is a fantastic spot. The sauce on the wagyu with the crispy latkes… to die for. The Campfire Pie was also one of the best desserts I’ve had. The fried chicken was moist and crispy but I was craving more salt… I just think nothing compares to the salt and rosemary seasoning at Addendum. Regardless I would absolutely go back again, such a satisfying and delightful meal.

One of the best meals I've ever had. The service was amazing. The chef dropped off our seafood party. What a great guy. Our server was kind and cared for our every need.

Went there with a group of six and it was absolutely fabulous. One of the best meals of my life! Must order the seafood tower. The homemade bread, steak, olives, dessert all divine. Atmosphere was cool, not fussy, beautiful. Fantastic service and help with wine! Truly memorable, thank you!

Fabulous! Dinner with friends for the first time last night and won’t be out last. Impressed the minute we arrived with a warm welcome by the staff. Once seated, our server was so lovely and thorough with menu options. Goes without saying the food and wine selections were both very mindful and absolutely interesting and delicious. The decor down to the bright sconces in the ladies restroom were noticed. After many meals at Cindy’s, I wholeheartedly know Charlie’s will become a new staple for me and many others. Tremendous spot in St. Helena just off the main road. Chef Elliot’s dishes are thoughtful and flavorful and Greg’s beverage program is spot on. Elevated decor to match the elevated cuisine and drinks. Definitely stop by if you’re in the Napa Valley!

We had an incredible date night & can’t wait to return! It felt like we were at a friend’s house. Highly recommend the seafood party & truffle pasta 😋

Love, love, love!!! Flatbread with Truffles was magnificent, the oysters were dressed well, and the fish was amazing with the sauce. Im.looking forward to returning.

The dedication at Charley’s to locally sourced, quality ingredients is outstanding.

The nuance of flavors is awe inspiring, and delightful to taste— and nuanced ways that he is honoring the family roots of Elliot and Katie (his sister, who artfully directs the front of the house)’ Iowan and New Zealand heritages, creates a specialness and magic to the culinary journey. For the taster, it’s like being transported, in real-time, to a time and place that is deeply meaningful to the chef and his family.
I can feel the love, I can taste the love— I am sending all my foodie friends here asap before they have a 3-month waiting list to get a table!

Really wonderful staff and perfect attention to detail. Very accommodating to us and they went out of their way to make things easy with our young child. The food was excellent, particularly the pierogi and fried chicken.

We had a truly spectacular dinner at Charlie's. If we hadn't otherwise known they had just opened, we would have assumed they'd been a cornerstone of St. Helena for years.

We experienced unique crafted cocktails, oysters, freshly baked bread and two killer main courses followed by the sensational campfire pie. Everything was absolutely delicious and you could tell the level of detail and thought that was put into every dish to elevate it to the next level.

Small details in the service were not overlooked, such as a glass of bubbly while waiting for our table and sparkling water at no additional cost. These details (coupled with the food of course) are the type of thing that truly sets this restaurant apart.

Love the atmosphere of the place. The staff was super attentive. Great cocktail and wine list. They had some great options for the kiddo. The stracciatella flatbread was a hit. The fried chicken with the hot sauce and pickle was a perfect combo.

My husband and I had an amazing date night here last night. We had the delicious seafood platter ,the fried green tomatoes, and the trout. The food was excellently executed. The cocktails were reasonably priced and great! It has a real local, familiar, warm vibe. We can't wait too go back!

I absolutely loved 🥰 the whole ambience is very beautiful, amazingly welcome, warmth and the food is superb, really surprisingly splendid!! We order one of each dessert and they were amazing!! My favorite the courtyard figs with a delicate lemony sauce. I love every bite and also my friends love it too. 💖💖💖 Absolutely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great date night here! So happy to have another option in town. The food was outstanding, service was professional yet fun. Our server Andrea was knowledgeable and funny. Had no idea it’s only been open 2 weeks. The lighting was a little off and too bright, but they’re working on that. Loved the energy. Bravo!
