This restaurant offers excellent service, but parking at the location requires attention. The dishes are unique, although the lamb shank was too salty. The corn soup is delicious, and the baby pork chops are tasty. However, the table placement is a bit cramped. Overall, it's a good experience!

The service was outstanding. This place is a family owned restaurant and you can feel that from start to end. Osvaldo was an excellent server. The risotto croquets was my favorite dish.

We have had lots of different food and experiences during our visit to the US. Today, we arrived in Napa, driving through St Helena, and my wife spotted a little restaurant called Market. We managed to park on the street nearby. The greeting and service was as good as the food itself. Fabulous find.

We shared the crab salad, then Jane had the fish tacos, and I had the best scallops I ever had. Alfie was our server, and what a server he was. He knew the menu inside and out.

Have to eat here at least once every time we visit St. Helena! Alfie is our favorite waiter, he's attentive and feels like family. The bartender makes THE BEST Filthy Martini in California., and the Butterscotch pudding is to die for. We had the special, a delicious shrimp pasta in a delectable cream sauce, we also had the lobster rolls (yummy), Crab Louis, delicious as always, the French Dip, hearty, savory and melt in your mouth. And the Butterscotch pudding for dessert. As always all of the food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable. The next time you are in the Napa Valley If you haven't been to Market you have to go!!

Great meal, every course. This was our final dinner in Calistoga and all 7 of us were very pleased. Good prices for such a nice spot. I had corn chowder that was great, and the fish and chips, which doesn't sound like a fancy places meal, but it was amazing. The wine selections were spot on and we had one called the Walking Fool which brought a smile and an Ahhh. Cheers to a great meal on final night in Calistoga

Great Food and atmosphere. Service was second to none. The butterscotch pudding desert was amazing. This is the place if your looking for where the locals go for.

Market is in an historic building downtown St. Helena. The food and service was excellent. I had a really excellent heritage tomato bisque, followed by a fresh Dungeness crab Louie. My companion had the calamari and a Caesar salad. All of which was plenty of food for lunch. We shared their custard dessert, which was delicious.

Parking is available (mostly) on the street or in a lot a block back.

Really terrific restaurant in St Helena. The food is straightforward but impeccably prepared - I had a French Dip that was perfect. The fillet mignon was also outstanding. The staff were exceptional as well, and the decor is tasteful. Truly a great place for lunch.

We were here for dinner several years ago and decided to drop in for lunch this time. We were really happy with our choices. Started with the lobster roll appetizer which may have been the highlight of the meal. We both had the crab Louie salad and were not disappointed.

we stumbled upon this restaurant after a long day of flying from NJ and this restaurant was IT! Market had amazing food and even better service. Alfie was our waiter and he was so knowledgeable and helpful, he walked us through the entire menu and was just the kindest person, when he found out it was our first night on our honeymoon he stopped what he was doing to bring over champagne to celebrate. Truly the best experience, if we ever come to Napa again we are making sure to stop here to visit our friend and the food, thank you Alfie!!

Off the charts again!

From start to finish everything was excellent! From the absolutely lovely always smiling hostess(wife/boss:), to Tara are equally gracious, knowledgeable and helpful waitress. While not forgetting Veronica, our food runner who couldn't help but be nice and wonderful to talk to.

Everything we tasted was great!
We split a perfectly cooked calamari with the best cilantro dipping sauce. Probably the best sauce that I've ever had with calamari! She had a beautiful watermelon, tomato and feta salad. I had a Caesar and have too admit I make a dam fine Caesar - there's was better. She had fish and chips and I had ribs. My ribs were perfectly cooked and tasty while her fish and chips were the best looking f & c I have ever seen. The tiramisu at the end topped off the evening.

We go to Market whenever we visit from Florida. You can tell the staff is really happy and the food is made with love. Thanks Ernesto!
Loved it.

Was recommended by two wineries we had visited. Small but very comfortable place. Our server Albie was awesome. Had been there 15 years and had every detail of the menu down. It may sound a little crazy for a seafood and steak place but the individual's who recommended this place said I needed to try the fried chicken of all things. Glad I did. Delicious 😋.

Big huge shoutout to Market in St. Helena for a beyond wonderful lunch experience. I’m always very scared to eat at restaurants that are not reviewed on the Find Me Gluten App while traveling. It’s always risky trying out new places but I stopped into Market, asked the manager about their gluten free options and was pleasantly surprised. The waiter was beyond helpful and walked me through the entire menu, was so understanding about my dietary restrictions and eased my worries. Best part? I did not get sick!!!! 🥳 ordered onion soup which was incredible, and a chicken sandwich without the bread. This meal was amazing and the experience was so special! I cannot recommend this place enough.

The manager was so accommodating to our group, and we received great service. Food was delicious. Champagne-battered fish n chips were fantastic.
For an interesting story, ask about where they got the beautiful bar.

Service here is top notch. We were running late (due to wine tasting) and the front of house was super accommodating and remembered us from just a brief phone call. Food was excellent. Can recommend the Calamari!

Love, Love, Loved it! Went to Market on Friday night when we arrived in town for the weekend. Walking down the street and picked it for dinner. Right away friendly and inviting staff. We had a delicious dinner and them noticed a table across from us had s'mores for dessert (like roasting the marshmallows at your table)!!! We were very full so we went back the next day for dinner again. This time we each had a cup of the soup of the day and suggested an appetizer, which left room for the best s'mores ever! Also shout out to our server Cheyenne, who we had both nights. She was GREAT!

I had the pepper crusted filet medallions and salad w/grilled peaches. It was delicious, and loved that they offered small plates. My husband had the organic fried chicken he said was good. We had an awesome server and she recommended the butterscotch pudding, not something either of us would normally order. It was outstanding. Great services and upbeat fun, but nice atmosphere!

Had a fantastic meal here: Tomato and watermelon salad (so glad our waitress Lexi recommended sharing it because it was substantial as well as delicious) and roasted chicken breast.
