Definitely, five stars. Wonderful service and the food is amazing! We had the croque madame and my first thought was, wow better than Paris. They also, very sweetly, gifted my mom a Raspberry Macaroon for her birthday 💕💕which was delicious!

Love all the pastry here. The almond croissant is also delicious. My favoeites is the croque monsieur.

Ordered a birthday cake with a message plate (chocolate). Never mentioned but they figured we are Japanese and gave us two message plates, one in English and the other in Japanese. Pleasant surprise to see their kind gesture.

Everything we have ever gotten here has been absolutely delicious. Weekend mornings are really crowded so be ready to wait in a line. It goes quickly though! There is lovely outdoor seating! Be warned that they aren’t the friendliest about children. We are used to that here in the Bay Area though. Great for breakfast or just pastries. The pastries change regularly which keeps up coming back to try new things.

My recent visit of Mademoiselle Colette was an amazing experience. The pastry and dessert selection was out of this world, especially the croissant salmon benedict. The flaky, buttery croissant was the perfect base for the rich and flavorful smoked salmon, topped with a perfectly cooked egg and hollandaise sauce. It was truly délicieux! I couldn’t resist to only have one item for the dessert so I ordered a lot more: a Paris Brest, a slice of the hazelnut cake, and of course a croissant! Best decision!
Whether you're a local or just visiting, the delicious food and charming atmosphere will transport you straight to Paris. Je recommande fortement! Voilà.

We went to Mademoiselle Colette Stanford location a lot, and surprisingly when I went to Fleet Feet Menlo Park to buy a pair of shoes, after Google Dessert near me, Mademoiselle Colette jump out, what a surprise.

We walked in when they are closing, the staff is so nice, Barbara is closing the store but still help me get a box of different variety of cakes, I super love the hospitality this bakery provide even though we are new to this location.

I want to sit at their outdoor table and have my dessert next time I came here for another pair of shoe.

The best french bakery in the area for sure. Their best item i have tried so far is the almond croissant. The best breads and breakfast sandwiches in Menlo Park Downtown Santa Cruz Ave area. Other Madam Collete stores in Palo Alto and Redwood City are great as well.

Love Mademoiselle Collete. It's our favorite pastry shop in the peninsula. It's our regular stop for our Saturday morning either in Menlo park or redwood city. This one in Menlo park has the longest line but probably has the nicest inside seating in terms of ambience. I love the french music and beautiful light shining through the cafe. (the Palo Alto one doesn't have a bathroom, and the interior of the redwood city one is not as warm in ambience inside and one needs to pay for street parking)

Our regular go-to are chocolate croissant and kouign amann. Both are fluffy and buttery. Ines and I often share one chocolate croissant first and can't help ourselves sharing another after the first. The best one we had was at redwood city location in August 2023.

The savory food (avocado toast) is not as good as the pastry/dessert although the bread is excellent!

Delicious french bakery. Love their lemon tart, seasonal pumpkin tart, chocolate bar, eclair... Their plain croissant is on the buttery side (greasy texture). Will come back for their jam filled croissants. They also offer hot breakfast food. They have dedicated outdoor seating. Can get a bit busy on weekend brunch time so be prepared for a short wait to order.

Weekday afternoon visit. Their carrot cake is otherworldly: dense with a sweet glaze and ample carrot shreds. Still soft and moist even though they were closing shop soon.

Also very kind and thoughtful staff.

Nice cozy bakery in downtown Menlo Park. We ordered Almond Chocolate croissant, Avocado 🥑 toast and French toast with berries and everything was delicious. Specially the croissant was out of this world.highly recommend this place.

Awesome croissants. They are huge, but the stuffing (if you get the almond or almond chocolate versions) is tasty and well filled. Real butter in the croissants make for very flaky layers of crust. If you're gonna eat croissants, eat these! They're truly an indulgence. My family members can only ingest 1/2 at a time, which makes the $7 per a bit easy to swallow, so to speak.

Service was great and quick. The mocha was very yummy. Choices of pastry was just enough to help satisfy any cravings.

Fancy French cafe and bakery in downtown Menlo Park. Has some outdoor as well as indoor seating. Popular for croissants and pastries. Great presentation. Expect long lines during breakfast/brunch.

OMG the pastries! Coffee was out of this world and they are all French there too. The owner was amazing, nice and wanted to talk about her offerings. I will be back ASAP when I get back to Menlo Park. Cause I can't afford to live there. Like, $5,000,000 for a 2000sqft home on a small street must have a Tesla or Porsche type of home. Like I have an English bulldog because I can type of home. And the food matches. Worth it.

Delicious food and pastry (we tried the French toast and quiche and got a couple pastries to go). Staff is friendly and authentically French, and the restaurant is bright and inviting. Service was fast, and it was a great experience overall. We will definitely be back!
