If you love rocks, and semi-precious gems, and fossils, then this is a fun stop. The prices all seemed reasonable to me. We got several gifts.

Just learned you all are moving locations! Sad to see you leave Seattle but looking forward to seeing the new shop in Issaquah at Gilman Village!

Pieces are all unique, reasonably priced, and well maintained. The shop owner is very knowledgeable and compassionate. We love the shop dog too; quite shy but very sweet and makes the enviorment even more welcoming. This is a perfect place to get a unique gift for someone important to you.

Beautiful shop full of amazing pieces of earth's art! The owner is super nice, as is the doggo, Hutch! This shop is for the mineral enthusiast!

Recently transplanted from their bustling Seattle location, Agate Design is cozily nestled inside Gilman Village, a new addition to the myriad shops already established. I love this shop! Mark and his nephew are both wonderful to work with. I’ve come back multiple times, and brought with me a new client every visit. Each piece has such detail and quality, that I buy a new item every time to add to my growing collection.
Everyone here, including Carl, does wonderful work.
Give them a visit!

Customer service was fantastic! Lots of cute rocks for a great price! I got to scavenge in the $1 box or $25/lb.

Cool place too go and visit especially if you love crystals and absolutely beautiful stones, hand made art to buy, a really cool owner who really knows his stuff when it comes to selling stones. A place for people who likes the stone of a variety. The Atmosphere here is one that will simply make you ahh. I would recommend a visit.
A real charming place with an owner that is of power. Be careful when you go and enter with Reverence.

To detail my experience would take up too much room, I absolutely love this place!
I found my first aquamarine here.

This place has been a Seattle staple for many years, the guy who owns the place has been doing what he does for a really long time and I really respect his business. This is the best place to find unique and elegant pieces, and i believe it's the largest and nicest gem store in all of Seattle.
I've been coming here for years to get pieces to add to my collection and to buy gifts for people, every time I come here it's a wonderful experience.

Love this shop. I've been coming here for years for myself and gifts. Extraordinary collection. Huge pieces to affordable items. There's jewelry and preserved bugs, butterflies and bats too. A cute cat hangs out there which is a bonus for me.

Quite an array of stones, raw and worked. From affordable souvenirs to high priced collectors pieces. Worth a visit just to see.

A-mazing. There was not one rock or stone or mineral I wouldn't take home. (He can keep the cinnamon air freshener tucked in back)
He ships and has a website folks!
My mom was even captivated by the items in his store.
The best thing I can say is with the little money we had, we actually bought two small items.
Best of luck, cheers!

There are things here I've never found anywhere else. They have a good selection of affordable stones and crystals but if you're looking for something fancier and unique this is the place. Owner also seems somewhat knowledgeable towards the scientific side of the stones instead of metaphysics like most shops which is a breath of fresh air.

What a FANTASTICAL shop!
Jewelry - Rocks & Gems - etc.etc.
A required stop any/every time in Seattle!

I love Mark, he's always friendly and happy to see you when you walk in. This crystal shop is a short walk away from the ferry and the prices are great. You can find something for anyone in here. There's sometimes his shop-dog with him as well. It's a little bit tight quarters so if there are a lot of people in there you need to squeeze by them very carefully but it's nothing that deteriorates the experience of the shop.

One of the better rock and mineral shops I've ever found. Lots of raw and semi raw specimens in addition to beautiful processed pieces. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable from a scientific standpoint. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place. Gives me an earthy and magical experience. Shopped twice and many more times to come absolutely love love love the crystals. 100% recommend this place for the crystal lovers out there.

Like a museum where all the exhibits are for sale. Fascinating place with some incredible specimens.

Excellent shop with many different products (polished and raw crystals as well as bowls and plates and intricate jewlery). Prices are incredibly reasonable and comparable to other shops and online sources. There is a wide variety of the crystals carried and I will be returning.
