It's hit or miss with this post office. I had a very delightful experience with the manager and a clerk (it wasnt one of the usual ones, I had never seen her before). After spending much time trying to help me find my missing package it turns out My package had accidentally went out to be delivered when I have a PO box. Not only did they call the mail carrier to see what time he would be back to the office, they took my phone number and ACTUALLY called me when he got back with my package! Most of the time, service is mediocre at best at this post office, but I was pleasantly surprised by this experience.

I had to mail an extensive packet of papers. The workers at this office were so nice and helpful in finding me the right size mailer and an affordable way to mail my package. Other post offices I have been to try to push an unnecessary overly expensive way to mail anything. I'm very happy with my experience at the Leesport post office today.

I drop off hundreds of packages a week for my business and they are all awesome! When I am in a rush I drop them all off and they get my receipt to me the next day in my mailbox. Always friendly, and always helpful!! Thank you!

Not a long line to wait in parking is plenty very clean in the lobby

Consistent in providing prompt, adequate knowledge, timeliness at the counter, and just quality service with a smile that I can appreciate.

Although the Leesport Post office is closed on Sundays, it is pen to access boxes. Small location offering personal service.

I did have to edit this review, which was a 5 star for years. Charlotte can be rude. If there is any issue with a package, don't bother talking to her about it, you won't get any help. Also, asking her to do anything - like normal parts of her job usually makes her wince. When I drop off packages, she has literally thrown her arms up in the air and tilter her head back with disgust that she is being forced to work. If she hates her job so much, she should go do something else. I have also had several times now packages that were dropped off late did not depart that post office till the following day - you can see it in the tracking. I try to avoid this post office now if I can, because of her primarily. I wish they would hire someone else.

"I'll be right with you," said the postal clerk to me as I waited in an otherwise empty post office lobby. She talked with her coworker about possibly having to go out for customer service training the following week. Two minutes later she came to the counter and sold me stamps. She didn't want to take a $50 bill because she didn't have change. But there was a lot of change in her drawer. I think the customer service training is a good idea.

You’re friendly neighborhood post office that offers no accountability for what they do wrong.

They’re supposed to leave slips for undeliverable packages but never do, which happened again recently.
Luckily Amazon notified us, cause this post office will just send you packages back without notifying you that it arrived.

So I have lived in the inner city and had P.O. Boxes at different locations when I moved to this area there were a few post offices I could have went to but it was the closest! BIG MISTAKE!! People if you don’t have to absolutely get a box here or use this office then don’t. The workers are all miserable, and that’s being nice. Customer service is bad, there is 1 person working in this office and have piles of boxes stacked up and meanwhile you have a Tex saying your box is ready for pick up 😂. I called the main office for the post offices and they even said that place is not on top of things.. so if you do not want a bad vibe sent your way or your mail or package on time drive 5 minutes more and use the another office. I know this would never fly in the city area.. save yourself the aggravation avoid!! Good day

Most of the workers at the counter are absolutely miserable to say the least. Their drivers refuse to deliver packages if there is a car parked in front of your mailbox regardless of the fact that they have to get out of their vehicle to deliver the package anyways. Overall, they all seem slow, lazy, and absolutely won’t go out of their way to deliver your package on time. Pathetic! Too bad there isn’t an option to chose UPS for shipping because they are top of the line quality workers that get the job done professionally, proficiency, and most of all ON TIME!!

I live on a gravel lane with three other homes and have our mailboxes in a cluster at the end of the lane. Numerous times they have decided it was ok to leave massive packages hanging off the mailbox inside of trash bags, instead of simply driving a hundred feet up the lane to my porch. Now that there's a package that can easily fit inside the mailbox all of a sudden they can't leave it. They left a slip saying there was nowhere secure to leave the package. Now I have to wait until Monday to pick it up. Which even then I'm not sure if I can make it because their hours are terrible to begin with and it doesn't help that they consistently close earlier than posted. Horrible office.

The mailman has continually put my new mail on top of outgoing mail when I have the red flag up. When I called the post office to complain they advised that the mailman is under no obligation to pick up outgoing mail. If this is the case, what service are my tax dollars funding?

they lie about having your package. their drivers also refuse to put packages by your door if it doesn’t fit in the mailbox. They don’t leave notes either.

Mail carrier Nancy should be held accountable for my property damage as she now threatens me to hold my mail because she can't access my mailbox after 3 years of delivering my mail!
