I’ve known Karen Thompson all my life and can honestly say that even as a child she knew she would become a veterinarian. You will never find another person who cares about your pets the way she does, and the entire staff shares her enthusiasm for every critter they see. Your furry friend will be in great hands if you choose Cedar Heights Animal Clinic.

I’ve taken all of my dogs to see “Dr Karen” since they first opened. Unfortunately I’ve moved across the State and can’t find a Vet that gives even 1/4 of similar service. They even made a required house call for my German Shepherd to help him cross the ‘rainbow bridge’. I do know that Cedar Heights care for many type of animals, but I’m not sure exactly which ones. I strongly recommend Cedar Heights!

Dr. Thompson genuinely cares about her patients. She takes time to answer questions. She takes care of a wide variety of animals; the basic cats and dogs, but also horses, cows, Guinea pigs, and bunnies

Took great care of my pet rat tako cause she had a tumor

Everyone there was very warm and caring. They took great care of our extremely nervous cat. They were able to put him at ease and got him feeling better in no time. We really appreciated what they did and will certainly be back again.

We love our fur babies with all our hearts. That being said, Cedar Heights directed us to the local animal shelter, who provided $100 towardmy kitty's care. Unfortunately, our 14 year old cat didn't make it. However, the staff at Cedar Heights treated Milo with love and respect. And I was never treated like a bad person for not being able to afford more. If your looking for a great vet, call Cedar Heights!

Dr. Thompson and her team are amazing! They have cared for my pets for a few years now and are always great about fitting us in during emergencies and my pets love them.

I took my dog here for the first time after seeing another vet in town previously, and I will never take him anywhere else after seeing Dr. Thompson. My dog has reoccurring skin issues that no one could get the bottom of, and Dr. Thompson spent a good 45 minutes listening to my dog's background history and situation to get to the root of the issue. I'm so satisfied and impressed with how thorough she was, and I left her office feeling relieved that she was truly concerned about helping my dog get better. Her, as well as her staff, genuinely care about your pets, and everyone in the office is so friendly! I recommend Cedar Heights to anyone who is looking for a friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable veterinarian!!

I highly reccommend taking your pet here. You can tell that they love animals and they take very good care of them. Our cat Ginger never seens stressed out when she has been seen by Dr. Karen Thompson. They take care of all kinds of animals large and small and make farm and house calls.

Took my sick ferret here this morning. Karen was amazing. Very knowledgeable about ferrets. Closest vet to Elizabethtown that actually treats them when they are sick. She even called in medicine at Kroger so I didn't have to drive back. I believe we found our forever vet! Thank you!!!

Cedar Heights Animal Clinic is a wonderful facility. The staff treats my pets and I like family. They are kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to answer any questions I have or to solve any problems that may arise with my pets. They are compassionate and caring people! My dog absolutely loves coming to visit them! Dr Karen is great! She explains everything and gives pricing up front. You can tell she really cares about each animal she helps. I have tried every vet in Bardstown and she is the BEST.

Everyone seems to love animals and enjoy their work. They listen to my description of the problem, explain what they're finding with my animals, and what they're doing to help or heal them. They've worked with our dog Mimi, our cat Striker, and our horse Freckles. Good outcomes for all three.
