Us and our dogs love BCAH! So thankful to have them in our town. Their facility is great, and everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Lisa Siebert and Dr Alex Shelley always take their time to be thorough on our annual visits. I know they are there if an emergency or question comes up. We definitely recommend using BCAH

I had multiple quotes from surgeons in Louisville wanting to charge me 5-6k per leg for my dog Bambis TPLO surgery and this place did it WAY cheaper and did a great job.

It has been 5 weeks since Bambis surgery and she has recovered well. Everyone here including the owner were super friendly and very responsive when I sent emails with pictures of Bambis leg to just ask if they thought it looked good throughout the healing process. They made me feel at ease about the whole thing and were just overall super helpful and great. I drove over 45 minutes from Louisville to come here and I will do it again in the future if I need the services they offer.

Love Dr. Siebert and Dr. Crabtree. They have been excellent at diagnosing and treating my pets. We have 4 cats and 2 dogs, so we definitely get our share of difficulties. Staff is always friendly and patient with me as well. Great facility all around.

I brought my 14 year old lab/terrier mix in to remove an extra large mass under her left rear leg.Dr. Shelly and the entire staff were great to work with and the price was a third of what the surgeon in Louisville quoted. Excellent service!!

1st time going there with my kitten Callie that we rescued feom the freezing cold . Saw Dr Seibert and she was fantastic and caring. Would highly recommend

The staff are truly wonderful. The most empathetic people I’ve ever met. You don’t teach that, such a great bunch. You can just tell they all care about the animals and the family. They go out of their way to make a bad situation as easy as possible, they did for me. I can’t imagine taking my “babies” anywhere else now.

I had to bring our rescue, Millie in for a an accident where she hurt her front leg. Our regular vet was not in office so I called Bourbon City Animal Hospital. Although we weren’t a regular patient, they immediately got us in. Dr. Shelley was great! He explained everything and took his time with our girl. It ended up being a minor elbow fracture but we received excellent care! I also must mention how amazing Taylor is!! She took Millie for her X-rays and she cared for our girl like she was her own! Although I didn’t get her name, the first tech that we saw was also wonderful! She was upfront with prices, so there were no surprises. The front desk staff were personable, kind and helpful. Thank you for taking care of our fur baby!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Dr. Shelly and his team literally saved our labs life. We wasted time at another vets office in Elizabethtown. Once we rushed her to this clinic Dr. Shelly did surgery immediately. She stayed in critical condition for a number of days but they literally nursed her back from deaths bed.
These people love their job and the animals they treat, it shows.
We will never take our pets anywhere else.

Dr. Shelley is an amazing doctor. Not only is he highly knowledgeable, extremely skilled with surgical procedures, but he has compassion for his patients (furbabies) and his customers. You can't teach empathy and it's a special quality when you possess it. His prices are very reasonable and could be much higher based on his level of expertise. If you are looking for a great doctor and a very caring staff, head to Bardstown! I drive 45 minutes one way just to make sure my furbabies are with the best 👌

This Vet is simply the best! I had a bit of an emergency with one of my dogs, had not been able to bring them in for a regular visit with this vet yet even though I had planned to switch.

My Australian Shepherd urine was straight blood. Since she wasn’t established with Bourbon City I called the vet who had provided services for her. Unfortunately they would not see my girl for another 3 days. I called Bourbon City, explained that she had not been seen by them and what the problem was. Their response was “how soon can you be here?”

Thankfully it was a treatable condition, and she will be fine. Needless to say my pets now have a new Vet. I would recommend them to anyone who cares about their pets!

Dr. Shelley is awesome, he sure knows his stuff when it comes to ACL/TPLO surgery. We can't say enough good things about Dr. Shelley and his staff, everyone is kind and helpful at Bourbon City Animal Hospital. We are so thankful Dr. Shelley was referred to us esp. Boots.( the dog). We come from Indiana to see Dr. Shelley and it is worth the extra travel time to have the quality care our pet gets and we feel good and confident with his care. Dr. Shelley is a nice person and his wife is real sweet too! He listens and explains everything and answers any questions you might have. Update: Back again for the other leg same procedure. He is doing great so far. Dr. Shelley is a Godsend for Boots and us. Great Vet and staff.

Very pleased with a 2nd opinion exam and scoping. Everyone I met was very kind and professional. I am very happy with the quality of the care and all the information I received. Will definitely recommend them in the future

Last Wednesday (11/15) I had to put my cat, Duke, down. I called the office before I left home, and they were waiting for me and the room was ready. The staff was amazing and so caring! Even though this was a very difficult decision to make, they were so understanding and thoughtful.

Our animals see Dr. Seibert and Dr. Crabtree at this practice. We feel they get excellent care. We have received top tier customer service at every level from making an appointment, interacting with support staff and during vet exams. I have never felt that our vets have recommended unessecary tests or procedures just for the sake of making a dollar. They have acted as partners with us to make the best decisions for our animals. I am so greatful for their trusted care in our community.

Every vet we have seen has just been the best! Would recommend to all fur baby moms and dads!

The staff here is incredibly helpful, and Dr. Crabtree is thorough, knowledgeable, kind, and has truly helped us with our cat's health issues immensely. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

Got my fur baby in quickly! Adressed his issue and he's doing great. Loved they followed up a few days later.

Quick assessment and treatment of our sweet Sims after finding he had been bitten. He received compassionate care and is on the mend.

I found myself in a crisis panic this morning of all mornings it was Christmas. Dr. Shelley was able to save the day and I will always be grateful for him helping when he didn’t have to.

Staff is very helpful and professional. Vet care is exceptional.
