Great hidden secret waiting to be discovered. Excellent tapas style visit for me. Well curated Vermont beer and cocktail list, in a tiny, vibrant, downtown.

Short Notice is a fantastic choice if you love creative cocktails and/or creative food. There are many app sized dishes and there are a wide variety of options. So far all of the ones I have tried have been delicious. The service is nothing short of perfect. Extremely friendly! They have an expert mixologist behind the bar and an interesting number of choices. It's a great opportunity to try something new. Overall I have to say Randolph is lucky to have an establishment of this caliber on it's Main Street. If you're traveling north or south on I89 it's about 5 minutes off of exit 4 and definitely worth the detour. 5 stars for sure!

Wonderful flavors in all shared dishes and cocktails. Well worth the 1 hour plus drive. Met other friendly diners, staff was great, dining room is small and simple. We will return!

I’ve eaten here a handful of times and every single thing I’ve ordered has been amazing! The dishes are so flavorful and unique, and the cocktails are hands-down the best in Vermont. I love that they’re always updating the menu and everything is hand-made (even the crackers!!). The space is cozy and laid back. It’s self serve, so you order right at the bar. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!!

First! Visiting Tunbridge, Vermont for 42mile gravel @therangervt and treated with a new restaurant. Check it out when you’re in the area!

Such a fun spot! The food and cocktails are super creative and thought out. Everything is made from scratch down to the crackers, pate and clarified tiki drink. Great spot to grab a drink at the bar or share a bunch of yummy plates with friends and family. Loved it all.

We drive down from Montpelier to have dinner here. The space is very comfortable-several different seating options. There’s a big family style table for larger groups, several smaller tables, plus a bar, PLUS window bar, PLUS two options for sitting in big comfy chairs. We were greeted by the bar tender who was very friendly and started with some yummy cocktails-one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic drink. They had just changed the menu that day and we ordered about 5 items for the four of us to share. The food was delicious-each dish was well thought out and beautifully presented. The whipped feta was SO good with pistachios on top, and the chick pea dish went perfectly with the homemade pita. Then we had the short ribs (SO good) and the miso noodles (with the spiciest most flavorful hot chili sauce on top). We also had the roasted Brussels and cheesecake to finish it off. I’m so glad we took the drive down and will definitely be visiting them again!

This was our second visit since they opened 4 months ago. The visits were two months apart. Our first visit was outstanding and we found consistency in our second visit. Randi made us a couple of really great drinks. They even make great choices with their non-alc options. We enjoyed the eclectic canned seltzer options. For food we had 5 small plates from the menu. Every one of them we found to be fantastic. We also ordered 2 sandwiches with the idea of bringing some of this great food home. We did eat half there and they were great. Looking forward to having the leftovers as a meal the next day. We are also looking forward to our next trip there. The dining room was empty when we arrived at 4:30 and was full at 6:30 when we left but it is a very comfortable space even when full.

Amazing food, amazing drinks, and amazing service, we loved how international the menu was! It’s a very cozy space, though I would say I wish there had been a little more ambiance lighting. We would come back again in a heartbeat, we can’t stop talking about how great our meal was.

So crazy busy the night of the eclipse- they managed to serve everyone with superb interesting food. I wish I were there now. Thank you thank you…..amazing cake!

Best chorizo sandwich I could even imagine. Very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. We eat here as often as possible.

All the food was delicious. Like mouth watering delicious. And the people working there were so kind and helpful. Love the atmosphere and the table setup was so cute. Definitely will be going again

We really enjoyed Short Notice. The space is charming and comfortable, the food is inventive and delicious, the wine and beer choices are great, and the owners are very friendly. The only thing we can think of that would make it even better would be full table service. For now, you have to order (and reorder) at the counter, then they bring it to the table. Maybe wait staff will be added in the future? Still, highly recommended. We definitely plan to go back!

Great spot. We tried a bunch of the shared plates and sandwiches and it was really good (shout out especially to the whipped ritcotta dip, yum, and the eggplant caprese, which had had great flavor). Nice cocktail and wine & beer selection. Definitely recommend. Chill vibe, cool space and the owners who run the whole show were awesome and really friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

What an exceptional little restaurant/bar. Absolutely loved the food. Simple and clever dishes, done with panache, but without being pretentious. It’s rare that a restaurant hits all the right buttons for me, but this place is really fantastic. Will visit every time I’m in Randolph. All the stars.

Amazing food. Menu rotates, and is always phenomenal. One of our favorite places!
