The Gochu Handcrafted Korean BBQ Bowl

I came here to treat my employees for International women’s day and everything we had was pure perfection ! We had spicy shrimp, yakisoba noodles and k fried chicken bowls, and tried 3 of the drinks and absolutely everything was so tasty 👅 and I’m very picky, my husband is a cook and I have very high standards 😅 but this place!

Came today and was trying to look for low carb options and I sure found them too! I had bulgogi salad and it was so filling and yummy! Loved the variety of greens and veggies 🥗, everything was super fresh and my tastebuds were happy! Even though it was a salad, it made me feel satisfied 🤍

Thank you guys! Please stay open forever because my business is just around the corner and I need this as my lunch option 🫰

We had a great experience here for our first time. We tried the pork belly kimchi and the pho, both of which were full of flavor and well-spiced. We also tried a spicy K-dog which was very good. The service was great and the guy we spoke with was very friendly. We look forward to returning soon to try more delicious dishes.

I had a chicken Bimibap bowl for lunch yesterday. I can not say enough good things about it. Everything tasted really fresh and healthy. The sauces were delicious and the service was excellent. I can't wait to go back and try some other things!!

If you haven't had a Korean corn dog, you have two choices. Go have one and never be able to enjoy any other kind, or... well, that's really the only choice. I mean, you could just not have one but seriously, the deprivation would be senseless when The Gochu can serve you up one of their delightful choices for such a great price! I recommend the spicy (and if you really like it hot, you should know they do have Buldak sauce!), but I'm sure regular is amazing too. We shared a Korean corn dog and an order of the Brisket bulgogi and it was heavenly! We are older and don't eat as much a we used to, but we were stuffed. The vegetables in the bulgogi were cooked to perfection, not too soft, not too crunchy and there was plenty of beef. The drinks were so pretty and even more of a treat than expected. I had the purple yuzu lemon and wow! Don't neglect the bits of citrus! Just wait for that ice to melt and fish those yummy little bits out and eat them. Your taste buds will thank you! I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu. Now stop reading and go eat!!❤

I got the bibibmap with pork belly and it was delicous! I loved how fresh the veggies were and how tender the pork belly was! The staff were very helpful and knew the menu well.

This is our new favorite place to eat in Nixa! We used to have to drive to Springfield for good Korean but now it’s just down the street from us!

Tastes just as good as it looks!! Very fresh and delicious!

Would recommend the kimchi fried rice and the K Dog. Food for foodies! The cook time is a little bit of a wait, but it’s worth it.

Brisket bulgolgi was very delicious had spicy option it was great service was amazing will definitely be visiting again soon

My husband and I ate here for the first time today, we will definitely be back! They helped us decide what to get and answered any questions… very helpful. The Bibimbap was delicious, my husband had the brisket bulgogi which he also enjoyed… I wish there was a bit more meat…

The crispy dumplings… also delicious. I am excited to go back and try something different.

Bulgogi salad was a little weak in the bulgogi. The pickles just tasted like Vlassic smothered with gochujang — not a lot of love. Took a hot minute for our food to get made; the guys back of house didn’t look to be hustling. The gal working the counter was beyond exceptional, however!

I ordered the lychee grape smoothie. The drink comes topped with whip cream and fresh Grapes. In the course of my drink being made, I watch 2 workers, 1 worker with gloves and 1 without, adding Grapes to the top. The ungloved worker touching my food is the first problem. The second is he was also that cashier so he touched raw food after dealing with money with its gross. Third, ge walked away from my drink and licked his fingers that had whip cream on them from my drink. I'm not petty, but this is food service 101 and I'm so grossed out i don't even want to drink it.

Food was not up to any standard forKorean food. Beef in bowl was flavorless and very fatty.
