Working with the Freelance team has been a wonderful experience. From the initial consultation to the final finished formula I received professional support. All my questions and requirements were met with a friendly patient and engaging manner. Danielle was the chemist on my project and she really listened to me. She took her time to understand what I wanted and delivered quickly with few needs to revise the formula because she heard my needs the first time. The quality and care she gave to my project was if the formula was her own product that she was bringing to the marketplace. I would definitely suggest Freelance to other companies and will continue to work with them for more projects.

Vanessa and her team at Freelance Formulations were instrumental in a re-launch of brand. We brought production from China to the USA, which required a re-formulation of all products. Vanessa and her team assisted us in re-formulating our best selling hero product. This was not an easy task. Vanessa walked us through each step, explaining the impact certain changes would have and listening in detail to the benefits we desired. She worked directly with us and our curl panel when testing the different versions, taking their feedback and applying it to our process.

We were so pleased with Freelance we asked Vanessa to completely make a new version of our Leave In Conditioner and Mask. We are enjoying working with them on these projects, as well.

I am not sure why anybody would leave this company bad reviews because my experience has been stellar. Raymond at Freelance has been nothing but exceptional. This is a company that not only listens but cares about small businesses. Starting from scratch can be intimidating and Freelance has the tools to help you along the way. I feel very comfortable and confident with this company and they take the time to answer every question no matter how minute it may seem. Stephanie has been a gem and is so easy to work with as well. She's is excellent at what she does! I love that they work with small MOQ because not every small company can order 2500 of one product to launch. If you want the perfect formulation for your company, and help with setting up branding and so much more, don't sleep on them. They truly are here for small business owners like me. I am currently working on 3 makeup palettes for my makeup line Litty Looks Makeup Co. Everyone at the company has been a HUGE help with helping me get started with these palettes.Vanessa Thomas who helped me with the basics of my palettes and getting started. Danielle McKay the Chemist/Scientist who helped me create these BEAUTIFUL eyeshadow colors with a custom formula. She was so nice and very attentive to all my wants and needs! Vanessa and her staff did a wonderful job developing the formula for both of my products. Communication was great and everything was completed and sent to my staff for approval at a timely manner. Tammy was wonderful to work with when I was in the process of developing a formula for my new innovative product, Cold Sole. I am happy to now have the background knowledge now about starting up a business since I have zero education in the field and just came up with an idea I wanted to develop. Freelance Formulations is awesome and their customer service is top-notch. They really take the time to explain to you the process of product development, and answer any and all of your questions. Before, I tried shopping around with other development companies and my experience was that either don't get back to you right away, or are not transparent with their information and services. A few companies did not even answer the phone! The staff is amazing, Vanessa was super helpful to me in launching my first product. I discovered Freelance Formulations after unsuccessfully trying to work with other cosmetic labs to develop my product. Their entire process is very straight forward and they have a customer service oriented approach. Other cosmetic labs treat you like a number and many times like you don’t exist, especially if you’re a small brand. Not so with Freelance; they treated me like I was their only customer. My formula turned out beautifully and even more amazing than I expected. They even have a very talented graphic designer who was able to step in and design my cosmetic packaging. I am really thrilled to have found them and so proud of my product. I will definitely be turning to them for future projects.
