My husband and I went here tonight for the first time, last minute, and we were extremely pleased. The owners are AMAZING!! The food was great! We will definitely be back.

This is hands down the best BBQ in Central Arkansas! The brisket was melt in your mouth and the ribs were seasoned to perfection. All the sides had such a homemade taste to them that I don’t think you can get this type of food anywhere else. For the reasonable price, I was surprise how big the portions were. Oh…and don’t skip on the banana pudding!

The best ribs I’ve ever had in my life, no exaggeration! Generation portions, no skinny mostly-bone ribs here! Big and full of flavor! Great prices too

Love the ribs and pulled pork ! The Smokey flavor is undeniable. Their beans have a Mexican flare that I don't like for my baked beans, there is no sweetness to them.
Their homemade barbecue sauces are phenomenal and my whole family is crazy about the smoked Mac & cheese !

The owners are friendly and nice. The food is amazingly delicious. Everything we've tried has been delicious.

Oh I wanna let everyone know about the bar b que shack in Jacksonville Arkansas, it is very good.
They have the best people working there. They're very quick on their Feet, I had a mountain of their items on the menu. Never had a problem with it. I give thumbs up to this restaurant.

Wow I have found another good barbecue spot. The first owner of this restaurant the food just wasn't as good as it should have been but now there's a new sheriff in town and he's not stopping I got a chance to taste a little bit to see what he's working with I'm looking forward to going back for the full meal deal to be continued.

Me and my family came in yesterday (Thursday) and we spent around $100, and when i tell you thats the best hundred dollars spent! We had the ribs, catfish and nachos! Everything was immaculate and scrumptious! They gotta a true pit master in the back he’s definitely good at what he does😎💯 and the two ladys up front have to ne the sweetest and nicest! The whole experience was truly amazing and tasted even better! 20/10 definitely coming back again ☺😎

I was so excited to discover bbq shack and appreciate they are close to home. I love their TX style. Ive tried all dishes there and they are excellent. Every sat i buy chicken, beef and sausage for meal prep for the week. It never gets old and co workers always ask about my lunch because it smells sooo good. I pray God blesses this family and business.

The best bar-b-que around! We know Texas bar-b-que and they know how to cook it. Best chicken, ribs and pulled pork you will find. The catfish is the best around town too! This is owned by great people that want to make the best food for you!

Excellent BBQ! You gotta try this place if you are in the area! The ribs are out of this world and the beans were amazing. The service made me feel right at home. Homemade cookies to top it off!

The barbecue is deliscious seasoned to perfection, with a tasty sauce comes in hot and mild the ribs were very tender and flavorful i go once a week to get my barbeque fix, Awesome!!!!!!!

The food, the familia (owners) and the hospitality is everything and then some that you’d expect from true South Texas BBQ culture. Come hungry, leave happy!

Went there tonight as a last minute option after plans got cancelled. Was unsure because the previous owners sauce left much to be desired in my households opinion. While I don't like my BBQ drenched in sauce, I do like a little. When I arrived, I specifically asked if they changed the sauce and pointed out that they stated they were keeping it per a FB post. They kindly explained that they did in fact choose to discontinue the old sauce but always had their own as well. They even let me try it. It was delicious. Sweet, tangy, with just a touch of heat that most people can handle.

We ordered a lb of sliced brisket (though they were out after my order and let us know that it was going to be slightly more fatty, which we were okay with). We also ordered a lb of pork and a half rack of ribs. We got the BBQ Beans and potato salad as sides. The meats were phenomenal! The brisket was perfectly done, fat rendered deliciously, smoked to perfection. The bark on it was so tasty! The ribs were to die for! Juicy and fall off the bone but still perfectly smoked! The pulled pork I swear is probably the best I've ever had.

The BBQ Beans were thick in sauce, somewhat sweet and had a peppery flavor (think some type of 'green' pepper vs black peppercorn). The Potato salad was definitely my least favorite thing. Might be to others tastes, but was somewhat sweet, had smaller chuncks, and somewhat eggy. (unsure if it had actual eggs in it. Did not dig around to find out.)

All in all, the two sides we got were what we liked least, though we are quite curious about the smoked mac 'n cheese. The meat is hands down some of if not the best BBQ we've ever had!

On top of all that - the experience there while waiting for our order was wonderful. Everyone was kind, caring, and genuinely wanted their customers to enjoy their food.
