Great food, great people and quick service. I get the family take home specials regularly. It let's me have time with my family after a hard days work, with minimal effort.

Also they have been supporting the humane society non stop lately, donation drop off and a bake sale. Definitely a restaurant with their priorities on point for supporting the community!

Grinders is a locally owned place with awesome food. Our group had Beef Ravioli, Cheese Ravioli, and Mostaccoli. The breads are really tasty - fresh, cheese and cinnamon. We will see you again soon.

This will always be one of our favorite eateries. Many years ago our daughter worked here. We love the quality, quantity and value they share with customers. The garlic and cinnamon bread are among the must haves if you eat here!

Never disappointed when I show up for lunch. The same guy takes my order. It's quick and easy and the food is good.

5 star all around cause I know Grinders has been producing great food for decades. I wanted spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread and an Italian salad (like my Mom used to make) and Grinders delivered. I ate meal over 2 days, everything tastes great as leftovers too. Going back, try something else. The garlic bread and salad are fabulous.

Lunch special spaghetti with meat sauce came with 4 pieces of cheesy garlic bread. Delicious. The meat sauce was on the sweeter side, which worked well. Lite drafts were $2 each. In a former fast food joint, so not huge on atmosphere, but more than made up for it with food quality. I would eat here again for sure.

Although it took a bit to get our orders, food was delicious. Maybe it was because of what appeared short staffed, but delicious none the less.

We stopped in for lunch and got two Pasta Pleaser specials. The bread was delicious, and the pasta was good! My kiddo loved the cinnamon bread.

Here's what really earns these lovely people five stars though: I forgot to ask for our plates to be made with marinara instead of meat sauce, and I'm not 100% sure, but I think I saw the server about to walk out of the kitchen with our order when he was told that I'd asked for the other sauce. Nobody said a word to me or looked annoyed, they just remade the order and were polite and professional the whole time! We will be back for sure!

Always fresh, hot and filling! For a few dollars (very affordable) there are not too many QC places that can match the quality of Grinders.

The food was excellent. The Italian beef went really well with the spaghetti. The cashier was very courteous too. I would eat here again.

Super nice people work here and it was a superlative meal that accommodated my dietary restrictions. Nice find! Great price too.

We went there on Saturday. The people that work there are so friendly and the lasagna and bread is amazing! It is a very laid back atmosphere, which makes it perfect to bring my kids too. Will be back soon!

This place is frankly amazing. Their sandwiches are out of this world. Got a beefsteak sandwich with cheese and it was like a cheese tsunami with wonderfully cooked juicy steak on Grinders' trademark bread, which is unlike any other bread - they sure do make it special. My wife ordered a Hot Sicilian sandwich and likewise enjoyed it greatly. Absolutely love this place.

One thing I need to mention is that this place looks very old school. Like a 50's New York Italian diner. Absolutely nothing wrong with it though. They wrap their sandwiches in foil and use unbranded paper bags. The staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered food here many times and plan to come back again. Recommended.

We've never had a bad meal from here! Great food, amazing portion sizes, and great service. Dine in, carry out, drive through, and now delivery with 3rd parties make it all so convenient. Oh.... and I haven't mentioned the bread. Our orders always consist of bread, bread, and more bread. Cheese bread, garlic bread, cinnamon bread. You can't go wrong with a family feast or individual meals. Have been going there for years and always enjoy going back. Oh... and did I mention the bread? ;)

Everyone in my large group enjoyed their food. I have unusual allergies, and the poor manager(?) did his best to find something I could eat. I ended up with a very plain gyro salad, but it was delicious. This speaks both to the quality of their ingredients and the helpfulness of the staff.

Everyone raved about the bread, which looked and smelled amazing.

[edit]You know what? I've been thinking about this. I can't think of any reason this place should have less than 5 stars, other than the bread and pasta looked and smelled amazing, and I couldn't eat it. The staff went above and beyond what anyone could have expected for some weirdo with unusual allergies, and managed to assemble a delicious meal. So after much thought, I've changed this to 5 stars.

Last minute day before Christmas Eve dinner for 10. Carry out. Fabulous salad, pasta, garlic bread. On time. Great service! Five stars! ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife laughs when I tell her how good spaghetti and cinnamon bread is in combo, but it is! Love this place. Don't live in Iowa anymore but when I stop through, I get a fill up here! Great food, great pricing, and clean.
