Best bakery ever! Gwen pulled off a last minute order while I was in a pinch for a bridal shower cake NEXT day! The place I was going to order from fell through and I needed something asap. Not only did she come through, she understood my vision and communicated with me through the process. My daughter as well as the guests loved it, not just how gorgeous it was but it tasted amazing too! My daughter's favorite flavor, cherry chip and the buttercream frosting resulted in the perfect cake! 100%spot on with what we wanted! Can't thank you enough. The price was beyond reasonable too! Very talented and sweet lady. We will be back, and will refer friends and family!

I am beyond grateful to Brough Bakery in Clio. They did a tremendous job on my husband's Retirement cake. Not only did they take it upon themselves to decorate it amazingly well, fun and festive, but we received numerous compliments on its flavor as well. This is why I always go to this bakery for special event cakes. Thank you Brough Bakery.

This bakery has consistently delicious pastries, cookies, bars, pies and other treats. There's always a wide selection to choose from. We've ordered in advance for special occasions and they always had the order ready on time. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are a few in-store seating spaces, but mostly I would say it's a takeout business.
My favorites are the date bars and other fruit bars, and turnovers but I haven't tried anything that wasn't yummy and they frequenty make new recipes for variety.

Gwen I love your bakery and the amazing things that you make. Our Wedding Cake looks exactly like the picture I sent as an idea for Our Rustic Wedding. As always we will forever be a return customer....

This bakery is a little hidden gem in clio. Hands down amazing and best service I have had in any surrounding areas! I called the day of needing a dozen specialty donuts for my step daughter special event and they was so helpful and I asked them to suprise me, all I asked was that they make it super girly. They nailed it!!!! The staff is so friendly and their baked goods are always so fresh and taste amazing. We will always come back here for everything our sweet tooth wants! Thank you to all the staff at the brough bakery, you made her day amazing, she was thrilled. They have some of the most unique baked goods that make it so you can enjoy their stuff for any event, party, etc. Call them asap!

We ordered Blueberry Filled Cupcakes and Applesauce Cupcakes with Apple Filling for our company anniversary party. Both flavors were delicious and very moist! The Blueberry cupcakes had a blueberry swirl in the frosting with crumble toping. Not only was it beautiful looking, it made it super easy to tell the two flavors apart. I highly recommend Brough Bakery! 🙂

In the fall of 2019 Gwen answered my general inquiry email and worked with me all the way in Texas to arrange for three cakes for my mother's surprise 78th birthday dinner in MI. Gwen was extremely responsive, accommodating and attentive to detail regarding the size, colors, themes and flavors requested. She and the team at The Brough Bakery made three delicious cakes that the family and other diners raved about. (Yes, we shared :)) They even delivered the cakes to the local restaurant in Clio so we could focus on spending that precious time celebrating with family. I don't often leave reviews, but in this case I felt it necessary since the reviews helped me to select this bakery. The pandemic has prevented us from having a multi-generational gathering this year to honor mom, but if we are blessed enough to have another family celebration in her honor when this health crisis is over, this bakery will certainly be receiving another order from me.

My whole family loves the Brough Bakery! Our most common splurge is the donuts, but we’ve loved everything we’ve tried. They even made an absolutely perfect pirate cake for my kiddo when we couldn’t have a party due to covid. Gwen and her team are incredible and we are so lucky to have this wonderful shop in town!

My mom ordered my shower cake from here. It was so beautiful and delicious. She also accommodated our last minute request and whipped up a beautiful and delicious cake. Very satisfied!

We meant to take a picture of our raspberry danishes, but we had eaten them by the time I remembered to. They were THAT good. They do not have doughnuts anymore. But they do still have danishes, cinnamon rolls, and other pastries. Highly recommend!

I work with these fine folks to make epic birthday cakes for my loved ones. They do a great job and it always tastes fantastic!

Grabbed a couple of danishes (chocolate and a lemon), wow so good absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try all the other goodies they have. Really friendly staff or owner not sure which. Definitely give this place a try. Wish I lived closer.
