We came on Wednesday and were immediately seated when we walked into the restaurant. Our servers were so attentive. The food was okay but the ambience was 10/10. The owner came to our table and greeted us. We thought that was very nice of him. They have afrobeats on Friday night and I heard their Saturday brunch is a vibe. Beautiful restaurant overall with great service especially considering they’re just 5 weeks old. We will definitely be back!!

Kibeaux and Mo were AMAZING! The food was wonderful. I took my husband for his birthday and the atmosphere was a VIBE.

Key really went above and beyond for us and was an amazing waiter! Hospitality with a dash of wisdom was top tier!

I found this place randomly looking for lunch. I walked inside and it was an entire vibe. Music was playing from the outside following through to the inside. It was lit enough to see but still had a deeper moody feel with darker colors and pops of brightness sprinkled among the decore. Ms. Ebony the bartender greeted me and had a bright energy. She provided great service and the menu did not disappoint. I ordered blackened salmon with grilled vegetables and saffron rice. I also got the Mezza plate as an appetizer (I don’t normally like falafel but this was delicious ) and had to do a side of fried plantains. Everything was tempered perfectly - hot, fresh and deliciously seasoned without being overly salted for my pallet. I would come back, and recommend this cute environment to anyone looking for a Mediterranean / African Fusion with great music and good service! Thank you Ebony & Cafe Nubia!

This New Mediterranean/ African cuisine is one I truly enjoyed! The decor is vibrant and inviting, the customer service exquisite, and the Food was full of flavor from start to finish! Overall Cafe Nubia was an excellent experience. Looking forward to going back for the dj, live music, and karaoke!

I brought my globe trotting clients here on a Friday for lunch after closing on a home purchase. We were immediately seated and our server, Ebonye was very attentive. Everything was delicious! The salmon, lamb chops and chicken were all grilled and seasoned to perfection, along with the jollof rice, plantain and grilled vegetable sides,. My client’s son even raved the next day about the takeout they brought him. I can confidently say that the meal at Café Nubia was the highlight of their trip, especially after torrential rains canceled their plans for the day. The owner, KC was gracious enough to check on us and welcomed our feedback. He is definitely earned future patrons from my entire foodies family. The food, ambience and music has me excited and looking for any reason to return soon.

This place is a whole VIBE!! The food is good, the atmosphere is great and the music was on point. Give this place a try!

Cafe nubia....sighs such a vibe....this place is a Definitely slept on or maybe due to the weather it wasn't as packed but you have to go here!!! If you like hip hop r&b vibes, somewhere chill with good food this is your place and of course if you're part of "the culture" you definitely have to be here!!! So let me give the run down on food and drinks we had:

Sharables
1. Lamb sliders- 10/10 (just get these and thank me later!)
2. Lemon pepper wings- 10/10 ( I mean you can't go wrong with old faithfuls)
3. Calamari-5/10 (this had potential and the flavor seemed to be there but it was cold and a bit rubbery or not as fresh. I'm sure if this was hot and fresh it would've been a banger.)

Entrees:
1.Kebab sampler- 20/10 (I'd exchange my first born for this!!!!. The jollof rice was ricing!!!!!! It starts of with a very plane initial bite but the more you chew the more the flavor and spice awakens. Next all the meats and vegetables were seasoned from the gates of heaven! Get this only if you like your food to have flavor. And they give you alot!)

2. Shish Kebab- 10/10 we got chicken and shrimp these again seasoned from the gates of heaven, they also have a VERY GOOD tziki sauce idk what makes or gives it that jenesaiquo but something does...also they have thin fries that don't seem like anything special but salt and pepper but there's definitely something that will have you constantly crunching on them like lays (can't eat just 1)

Drinks:
1. Strawberry lemon drop- 10/10, ( just get this if you like lemon drops! My wife isn't a drinker and this is one of the rare drinks/occasions her glass was empty)

2. Citrus smash-7/10 this is hit or miss depending on your taste and the blend. If you like a strong drink you may love it off rip, however I like a smooth drink and transition so I needed more citrus to cut some of the bourbon.

The music is such a vibe, all the feel good r&b and hip hop of Mario, Tems, Chris brown etc....and the decor is lounge like. It isn't the largest spot so on those spring and summer nights I can definitely see this place filling up fast even with the patio. We definitely plan to make this place a staple of ours, Meeka was our server and she was dope, overall a solid 9/10!!!

Did Saturday brunch here for my 40th birthday. It was fabulous! The waiter D was the BEST! The drinks were on point and the food was good. Excellent pricing and everything is Instagram worthy. We took so many cute photos!

Everything i hoped for and so much more. First of all our chaperone (waiter) Keybo was AMAZING. HE was friendly and knowledgeable. I personally had the rasta pasta and my husband had the oxtail with jollof rice. PERFECTION!!!. The atmosphere feels intimate, familiar and fun, we went on Thursday r&b night, the live saxophonist came down played to each table. Listen if you want fun date night, this is your stop

I recently went to Café Nubia to celebrate my Birthday with a few friends, we went on a Saturday night and the vibe was immaculate. They had live music that was performing R&B songs, the drinks were affordable and hitting, the food was cooked to perfection and delicious. It’s definitely a grown and sexy vibe that I would recommend to anyone.

The best Mediterranean cuisine I've had in a long while. Live shows, great service with hosts. Great drinks... Parking can be challenging if you arrive when they're busy

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Nubia, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I tasted their Spinach Dip, I knew I was in for a treat. The dip was creamy, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned, melting in my mouth with each bite. The accompanying pita bread, infused with a delightful garlic butter flavor, was warm and comforting. The mini toasts provided a satisfying crunch that complemented the dip perfectly. It was a harmonious balance of flavors and textures that left me wanting more.

For my main course, I opted for the Oxtail, and it was a true masterpiece. The meat was incredibly tender, succulent, and seasoned to perfection. Each bite burst with a multitude of flavors that danced on my palate, creating a symphony of taste that was difficult to describe. The dish was accompanied by a side of spicy Molokhia rice, which provided just the right amount of heat for those who enjoy a little spice. The rice was cooked to perfection and served as a wonderful complement to the rich and savory oxtail. The plating was elegant and visually appealing, showcasing the culinary artistry of the chefs.

To accompany my meal, I indulged in the Strawberry Lemon Drop cocktail, which was a delightful blend of sweetness and a subtle hint of alcohol. I opted for a substitution of Hennessy, and it added a distinct richness to the drink. The balance of flavors was spot-on, and it was evident that the mixologists at Cafe Nubia had a keen understanding of crafting exceptional beverages.

From the friendly and welcoming hostess to our attentive waiter Keith and the manager, every staff member exuded warmth and professionalism. They went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was flawless. Any minor issues that arose were swiftly and efficiently resolved, showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction. It's hard to believe that the restaurant had only been open for two months, as the level of service was on par with well-established establishments.

Adding to the overall ambiance, there was a live band playing during my visit, performing an array of R&B songs. The singer's melodic voice and captivating performance had both my family and friends swaying to the music, creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere. It truly added an extra layer of charm to an already remarkable dining experience.

I’ve been here twice now. It gets better each time. The patio is lovely. The indoor/outdoor decor is my kind of vibe. The food is scrumptious. The live music is everything. I’ll be back.

The outside seating is super cute with a nightclub atmosphere inside. Music is pretty loud if that bothers you. We didn’t mind. Food was AMAZING and Dawn was delightful and attentive. We will definitely be back!

I went to Cafe Nubia for Sunday brunch and was blown away from the moment I walked in. The ambience set a desirable first impression. The staff and food then carried that impression into a beautiful experience. The food was incredible. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the oxtails were so flavorful! Drinks and hookah were on point as well. It’s a local gem. I will definitely be back.

great brunch buffet and drinks, excellent customer service! the bartender and great and our server Key was amazing. he knew the menu well and made great drink recommendations for our table. Key was friendly and very welcoming. the vibe of the restaurant was perfect, a great sunday step out! music is great and the establishment is decorated nicely! will be back again for sure.

Attended the GRAND soft opening of Cafe Nubia on Valentine’s Day. The location of the restaurant is very central to most places so that’s a huge plus. The decor, ambiance and overall vibes in this restaurant is excellent. The patio is huge, well-lit and nicely decorated. I can see myself spending a lot of spring/summer weekends with girlfriends enjoying this beautiful patio! Now let’s get to the food! Everything we tried was amazing - from the beef suya skewers to the lamb chops which were mouthwatering and seasoned to perfection!! The salmon was also very delicious. I didn’t try the ribeye but it also looked very appetizing. The drinks were really good. I enjoyed the twist to an old-fashioned with the zobo hibiscus drink mixed in. We also tried the lemon drop martini and the margarita which was a fan favorite. I’m very excited about this new restaurant in Dallas and know that’s it going to become a strong staple in the area. Definitely will be back!

Darryn was our host for the night. He was full of good vibes and laughter and made our experience wonderful. We sat on the covered breezy patio with great music throughout the experience. They didn’t have the Mediterranean, Cajun, or New York option we asked for, but he flew to all three destinations and made it all happen for us! Or He might as well have; everything was delicious and decadent. Highly recommend and we had at least 4 different people check on us.. great service.

My friend and I had our birthday dinner this past Saturday at Cafe NUBIA with a group of about 15 ladies. We were given top notch service. The food was amazing. I opted for the Suya beef appetizer and the Oxtail main dinner with a side of rice. The cocktails were great! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The vibe on the inside is perfect with the best live band to entertain us. They later had a great DJ who played all genres of music. My party and I were catered to at the outside which hosts a very classy Mediterranean atmosphere with a beautiful cabana and soft seatings. I’ll definitely come back to Cafe Nubia. I’ve found my new favorite dinner spot!
