Runza Restaurant

My wife and I always stop at a Runza when we drive across Nebraska to/from relatives in Lincoln. Gothenburg's Runza is one of our top 3 favorites: Friendly welcome from small-town folks; great food at reasonable prices; cleanliness; and very easy off/on from I-80. Seniors, don't hesitate to ask for your discount! I always do if needed, but the cashiers often give me the 10% discount without my asking. My favorite menu items are the mushroom-and-swiss runza sandwich and onion rings!

I had never had any experience here before tonight. Well done Runza! Crinkle fries, good. Runza original sandwich, good. Chili GOOD

Service team was excellent and they bring your food to your table, what? This place will be on my pick list as I return to the highway and make my way east.

I don't remember the name of the guy in the drive through but...whatever here's being paid, it's not enough! Amazing customer service, helped us out alot. We'd never even heard about a Runza before but we were traveling from CO back home to FL and needed to grab a bite late at night. The food was very good and now my husband wishes they existed in FL!!

Very good food. Ibwas very satisfied here. I would eat here any day of the week. This tasted like how a real burger should taste. Sometimes you go places to eat and they taste a bit close to each other. Regardless, it looks like we don't have to have a mask here but that doesn't mean you shouldn't wear one. It's up to you if you want to. The employees wear them and we did as well. I'm traveling for work so that's why we stopped here. I'm happy. I understand this is a German place but don't quote on that. Anyway hope you like it, I loved it. God bless and stay safe.

First time visiting a Runza. They're only in Nebraska and a few other locations. Excellent! Great onion rings that are handmade onsite every morning. Same with their chili. I would definitely eat at a Runza again. I will also compare all future onion rings to theirs. It's my new benchmark!

This place is bomb! It's like a grilled chopped cheese sandwich or something. The onion rings are the best I've ever had from a fast food place. I recommend Runza!

It was mine and my Boyfriends first time here and we not from Nebraska. I had the cheese burger it was very good I loved it. He had something else I forgot what he had. Lol but I would definitely come here again!

Honestly one of the nicest staffs ever. Everyone is incredibly friendly and the food is great. Glad I stopped by.

I have been to this Runza several times, but today, the Manager Austin went over and above. To make a long story short; I live out of town, and my dad has been home sick, so I wanted to send him some homemade soup. Knowing Runza has fantastic soup, I had an old friend lined up to deliver, but I wanted to pay for it before she got there. Without going into a lot of confusing details (being in bigger cities, we take delivery services for granted), Austin made it happen.. Great customer service is rare these days.. So much appreciation for this young man for a job well done. BTW, Dad loved all 3 soups!

I had the best experience with the Drive Thru on Thursday 3/2/23 at lunch time. The lovely lady with the pretty face-framing curls and friendly smile at the window was the best fast food encounter I've had in a long time. Made my day!

It's a top of the list for us .
Runza is clean ,fast and delicious

I'm s truck driver and I stop here every time I come through Gothenburg. The staff is always friendly. The store is clean. The food is always prepared just like I ordered. Thank you for a pleasant experience and for having a place for trucks to park.

Not much atmosphere in drive thru.

The older lady there, Amber was her name I think provided great service. The food was ready within 2 minutes and was very good.

First Runza experience! Went on a Wednesday afternoon, and it was poppin! For good reason too. The bread was fresh. The meat wasn’t too greasy. It was a great portion. Simple and delish. Finally something to look forward to when driving through Nebraska.
