Very nice campground easy in and out for 35’ class A with tow vehicle. Water and electric at site with dump station outside office area. Everything kept clean. Large beautiful park adjoining the campground that’s a pleasure to wander around.

We used RV parking here and appreciated the playset, heated shower house, electric hookup, and dump station. Reasonable registration fee required with online reservations available.

What a nice little RV park. We were there during the week and it was only a few campers and very quite. Yes the road is narrow inside the CG but we did fine with 37Ft 5th wheel and a dually. Nice shade from huge cottonwoods. I found them well trimmed and we had no tree issue. City staff seem to drive the CG several times a day. Plenty of nice places to walk the dog including a lake for the dog to get in because it is August and HOT. We were even able to get a UPS package delivered. The CG manager was helpful. Only a few miles for the interstate. The one down side it although a short drive from the interstate, the concrete road through town is ROUGH and the set of train tracks were worse. Just take it slow. We would stay here again.

A beautiful quiet campground under huge cottonwood trees. Back in and pull thru sites. Electric and water. I didn't need sewer, but I think it's available. Trains horns faint in the distance, so not a problem. Showers with good hot and cold. Walking trails around larger park connect here. Highly recommend. For my R-Pod at back in site - $33.

Lovely, quiet, inexpensive city RV Park. Water & Electricity. Nearly empty in late July. Located next to the city park and Lake Helen. Excellent stop along I-80

One of the nicest places we've camped on our travels! Karen, the host, was so sweet and welcomed with us with the city's tourism guide. The showers were immaculate along with the beautiful grounds, walking paths and campsites. Only $25 per night for water electric site and dump station.

Only $10 for a tent stay, RV’s were $25. The showers and restrooms are included in your fee with no extra cost. The campsites are set very close to each other, which results in a very family friendly place to camp. There was an open area / park on the campground, which was very nice to have next to us during our stay. The campsite itself was surrounded by large trees, providing good shade and plenty of birds and leaves to observe. The showers and bathrooms weren’t the cleanest (cobwebs, gunk on the shower floors,) but considering the $10 admission it didn’t take away from the experience at all. During the middle of the night, we heard many different trains passing through the area, which didn’t matter too much to us, but we can see how it could be too noisy for some people. The bugs were pretty bad (flies, gnats, misc. tiny bugs) up to a certain point, but later in the night they died down, only to be replaced with beautiful lightning bugs. Karen, the campground host, was extremely accommodating and helpful during the entire process of coming and going.

Excellent facilities, really close to the main freeway. You won't regret stoping, recharging, and wake up surrounded by a bit of an island in the State.

There is a reservoir immediately South of the campground, with a 5+ mile walking/jogging course around it.

Th bathrooms are clean, working fine, with hot/cold water.

We stopped for just overnight traveling from CO to MN. It was a nice quiet place. The people that run the City Park are very friendly and welcoming. It is 25.00 a night. We did not use the restrooms so can't comment on them. The sight we had was part gravel and part grass and was nice and level. We will stay again if we are through the area.

This place is awesome! Clean bathrooms, nice sites, adjacent to a park and water. They have a horseshoe pit with shoes you can use! The hosts were the nicest I've ever interacted with. Reasonably priced. If you are looking for a place to relax, in a family oriented environment - this is the spot.

5 stars for a great city park. Large cottonwoods provide good shade. Next to a large park with walking paths around a lake. Quiet with electric and water also a dump station. Lots of tent spaces.
2022: stayed again. Just a very nice park. Electric and water, shaded, quiet.

I was so delighted to see that Jim was still the proprietor; working hard outdoors, just like last time. An old camping buddy and I met him when we camped there a couple of years ago. This time, I camped with my two dogs, and Jim said that it was free for me, as a lone camper! What a nice surprise! I didn't see any wild turkeys this time, but the starlit night and the moon were both beautiful. My dogs enjoyed seeing the horse grazing at the farm across the street. Nobody was at the roping club, surprisingly. On my previous experience there, there was a roping competition going on. There were girls and young women competing; roping, barrel racing, etc. Was fun to watch! I'll definitely be back. I love walking around the town and looking at the historic homes. Be sure to go visit the original Pony Express, and, if you've never had a Runza, be sure to go to Runza in town.

This is a great place to stay overnight! It's definitely more modest but still has RV hookups and a flush toilet bathroom with showers. The camp host is super sweet and made it clear that she cared about the safety of all campers. Camp tenting is only $10!

Wow!!! We called ahead while traveling on Interstate 80...very nice man answered the phone and held a spot for us. The campground itself is basic with water and electric. There is a dump station near the office. Older, but very clean, keyed, restrooms and showers. It is right across from an outdoor horse arena where we walked to and watched a barrel racing competition for free!!. Best part...the site cost $15 for a pull through with water and electric!!! Very nice park, safe and friendly. This place is definitely a hidden gem!!

We had reservations, called to tell the camp host, Karen, that we would be arriving late. She was there at 10:30 PM to greet us and give us directions to our site. She and her husband are kind and caring people Finding our site inthe dark was a bit tricky, but with the help of a man named John and his son Jarron from Brady, Neb., we were able to maneuver are rig into the camp site. Next morning we took a walk on the many trails, great setting would recommend this place highly.

Adorable, quiet, peaceful campground with plenty of shade and walking paths. Very sweet lady helped us at the check-in desk. We saw the wild turkey's and deer. Would stay here again! Fingers crossed that next I can see some roping competition!

To me a kind person with great hospitality and wonderful customer service is worth 10 stars. I don’t even care how great the park as if I’m treated with respect. This lady is the kindest sweetest soul.

She gave my kids rhubarb and some rhubarb cookie recipes. We love rhubarb.

She stayed up late for me knowing that we couldn’t get here till after 10 o’clock.

It’s an easy-going place where you can pick where you want to be and stay and leave as you please.

They don’t take credit cards so you must pay cash or with a check. But only $25 a night I think most people can handle it.

I making this is one of my favorites.

Nice shaded sites. Walking trail with lake for fishing. Nice playground for the kids. Quiet setting. Train close by but didnt bother us in an rv. Very peaceful only 4 campers here including us. Site 6 is nice, right next to walking trail and covered bridge. There are showers but didnt use them so dont know the condition. Price was $25 for 30amp service.

STAY HERE!! Take the few extra minutes and get off the noise of the highway and sleep in quiet!. Fantastic older couple at the house /entrance. If you come late pick a spot and pay in the morning. Pull through so no unhooking your tow. Water and electric @30amp. Only down side is sewage dump on the way out of park.

$15 a night, 30amp and water. Dump near by. We're in a 38' motorhome. Lisa's Kitchen in the other side of the tracks is very good. A nice Pony Express museum in the main city park.
