Miramar Apartments

Live here for almost a year. Manager and all the staff are very friendly and warm hearted. Timely answer for water basin pipe maintenance request👍. They also helped me find my lost keys, and often deliver packages to the front door of my room. Good and clean studio with dome light, good net works, well-functioning electronics.

We lived at Miramar for a little over five years and had a great experience. Our unit was beautiful, had a great view, and we loved being in an older building with charm and 9 ft ceilings. The location can't be beat and we found the price to be better than anything else in the area. We always had a good relationship with the management and the maintenance team. We only left because we were able to buy a place of our own - otherwise we probably would have stayed forever.

I loved my time at Miramar. My apartment was essentially sound-proof, very clean and recently updated, and I had the biggest surprise in the spring when the massive cherry blossom trees in the garden bloomed outside my window. The staff does a great job maintaining the building and have made several updates like new carpet and a new gym room. During the coronavirus crisis, they were really great about communicating with renters. The assistant property manager Kamecka in particular is so helpful, responsive and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

I really enjoy living here. The staff makes a genuine effort to care for their residents and tickets are answered in a timely manner.

Their improvements to the washer/dryer room is great and although this apartment doesn't have the frills of an over the top luxury building - it is still a fantastic place to live because of location, features, and overall comfort. Despite being in a bustling location noise has never been an issue for me in the 14+ months I've lived here.

I lived at the Miramar in central DC for the last few years. Firstly, the location couldn't be better -- it's walking distance to work (in downtown DC) and to all the bars and restaurants on 14th street. If you're a biker, it's right next to the major 15th street bike lane. The building itself is very charming, and the studio apartments are cute and comfortable. I also enjoyed the rooftop of warm summer evenings. The building management responds quickly to requests, and I never had to wait more than a day or two for repair requests to be followed up. It's a great choice for those looking for a convenient place to live in central DC.

I absolutely love living here. I moved from
California and the management team of Joann and Kamecka really make The Miramar feel like home away from home.
I recommend this building to anyone looking for a cozy apartment, located in the best neighborhood in DC!

I lived in the Miramar for over two years until I recently moved from DC. I have nothing but positive things to say about the building and the staff. Any time I had a request, I got a response very quickly and any issues were resolved almost immediately. JoAnn and Lazo and the rest of the team are all great. Amazing place to live!! Would have stayed forever if I wasn’t transferred :)

Both the management and staff at the Miramar are truly the best. It makes living there really feel like a home. They are so kind, considerate, and caring of residents and go above and beyond to help out and address any concerns you may have!

Have lived at the the Miramar for many years , love the convienent location to my place of employment and to downtown DC . The current manager of the building has managed the building for 10 years and is wonderful ! The rest of the miramar team is very accomadating , as is the matinence crew also .

The Miramar is in a great location at the heart of downtown DC. The building is about 100 years old, and it has a lot of character. The units have real hardwood floors, and mine had an adorable built in bookshelf. It is one block from all the restaurants on 14th Street and one block from a Whole Foods. For the price of the apartments, the amenities are very good as well: nice rooftop, decent gym, and back courtyard. The staff is very nice and super helpful, and the maintenance crew takes care of any needed repairs quickly. I lived at the Miramar for 7.5 years. I would have stayed even longer if I hadn't needed to move for personal reasons!

I find the management to be very good, the staff are very friendly. It is true that the carpets in the hallway smell of cigarette, that could be improved, but there is absolutely no smell in my apartment. The floors are gorgeous wood, and very easy to clean. And the location, you really can’t beat it.

The worst place to be in terms of the management. the building manager - Joanna is very rude, extremely bureaucratic and does not do her job of serving the community members properly. I have several occasions where I had terrible time to get simple solutions such as lockout help. DO not consider this place, because you will have to deal with the management at some point during your stay and that is going to be really bad.
