Build-A-Bear Workshop

My family went August 15, 23. My grandaughter, who was visiting, had such a great time for her first time at Build a Bear. The girls working the store were absolutely great with her. You must go knowing it will be a bit of an expense. It is about the experience with the child and the memories he/she will bring home with her. This is now her favorite bear because she made it with Nana, Pop Pop, Mom, and Dad with lots of love and kisses. She gets to hear Nana and Pop Pop's voice from the bear telling her they love her.
The employee was playful and appropriate with her age when speaking to her. It was great. Thanks Toms River Build a Bear.

My son just turned 3 and this was an unforgettable experience, HUGE thank you to rosa she was so so sweet with my son and so patient, she explained things so well to him the entire time, she even gave him a birthday sticker since it was a few days past his birthday, i wish there was a tip option at the end paying with card because the girls there definitely deserve a tip for the personalized experience they give the kids ❤ im sorry i didnt have any cash on me. This was our first time at build a bear and we will definitely be back thank you rosa!!

The sweetest experience for all ages. We had taken our kids to all get animals as a family, it was not as pricey as I remember! The girl who always seems to be there - Maddie - is so kind and enthusiastic. Will definitely be coming back.

The sales associate Rosa was extremely helpful and well informative. The three latest reviews below mine are for people who are trying to cheat the system by paying less and obviously don't know how to read. Would definitely suggest coming here to get excellent customer service.

Had a great time! Hadn’t been to build a bear since I was a kid and AnnaRose made it a really nice experience :) She was incredibly helpful and kind. The store was very clean and service was fast! Overall great time

I brought my daughter and niece here yesterday and they had so much fun! The worker Annarose was so great and helped them to have so much fun during the stuffing/hearting.

I've been going to this build a bear for quite sometime and I love it! Some staff tend to be super sweet and I haven't had a single problem! Will definitely keep buying from here!

This store has been very amazing! This store has given us a safe and complete experience. We went to one yesterday and bought the toothless and Lightfury and two Nightlights. We called this store and they had the third one. They set one aside for me. I came in today and they gave us the nightlight. Plus upon entering this store we discovered that the bears are supposed to come with a birth certificate. When we told this location we didn't receive them for our other two dragons we were told to make them here and it's not fair to get the animal without the certificate. They made us tags and had us create a certificate for them. It was really interactive. This store had us jumping and making wishes on our hearts. They really made a difference in today's world. With the pandemic going on finding somewhere that gives you an interactive and safe experience is almost impossible to find. We love this store and will be coming back! This is the Ocean county mall location. The one that failed us was the Freehold Raceway Mall location.

This is an awesome place, we visited here a few months ago while in New Jersey. It's just as much fun for the adults as it is the kids creating your own stuffed animals and choosing everything right down to their outfits! It's just a very fun place with a great atmosphere!!

Took my Daughter for a mall day and of course you can't just walk by build a bear with a 3 year old. Faith helped us and she was WONDERFUL. You don't just go for the stuffed animal, you go for the experience and faith had my daughter smiling ear to ear the whole time. We have been there many times and had the generic visits but I had to leave faith a review because she deserves it. Thank you! You made my day!

VERY THANKFUL FOR THE HELP THAT THE LADIES GAVE AT BUILDER BEAR. WE ADDED A MEOW , A HEART BEAT , WE ALSO PUT HAIR FROM OUR KITTY WE HAD TO SEND TO KITTY HEAVEN. WE NAMED BOTH BEARS JINGLES. Jennifer has to be the nicest employee in the mall. The amount of patience she has for my kids is unbelievable! They love going to BAB, and she just made the experience so much better. Thank you Jennifer!

Everybody was super friendly! The guy manning the stuffing station (didnt catch his name but he had a tattoo on his forearm) was really nice and he got my shy son to jump around and talk and have a great time😁

Bought bear #119 today for a stranger and her 4 year old grand daughter in memory of my grandson Gavin. Always a great experience and the staff loves what they do.

Stopped in for the Birthday Bear, which is pay your age. Very cute and fun experience for my son.

My daughter is teenager and we both still have fun going in there picking out different stuffed animals and clothes.

Both the employees that work here that we met we're really nice and take pride in their jobs. I really enjoyed my visit here and plan to go back.

Expensive but worth it for the kids. Suggest to go during you child's birthday month and get the birthday bear that you pay for by age.
