With all the bad reviews dating back to several years ago, I thought it was time to update it.
I don’t know what went on all with each person who left these bad reviews and negative comments and I don’t want to deny their experience. HOWEVER… All I know is that this post office has wonderful workers who always smile and greet me when I come in and greet them with a smile. They deal with a LOT of packages and are the heart of this small community. I don’t know how people would get their mail and packages if they weren’t around. They are always willing to help and I have never seen them be rude with anyone. They are friendly and I for one am grateful for their work.
Thank you to the crew of workers at USPS Glen Spey, NY. I am grateful for all you do. 🙏🏼

Excellent service, super friendly staff, always helpful. As to negative reviews you people don’t realize the amount of packages they receive for the tiny space that post office is. You should stop by early in the morning when they unload all the packages and see for yourself. Stop complaining if the package doesn’t get scanned right away, it’s not an automated process in the sorting facility. Yes USPS doesn’t deliver to private roads or maybe some remote streets. Don’t be a lazy a… and go pick it up.

The new people who work there are great. Nancy is extremely helpful and nice. Never an issue with her. Compared to the people who worked there before her she’s a breath of fresh air! The mail people before her were nasty and rude and I know many people who dreaded having to go there with something knowing they would get a nasty response. Thank you Nancy for being so sweet always, we hope she stays for awhile!

Glen Spey post office has them most wonderful customer service that I have ever received at a post office. Tammy and Tony are excellent and what they do,
Their attention to detail and willingness to help the customer are above and beyond. I went to the post office to mail one piece of China to the Southwest part of the country in which I thought was gonna be a very difficult task Tammy and Tony made this experience very easy task. The location of the package to which I thought it was going to be crazy expensive, they Took the time to research it to be sent as cheap as possible and yet make sure that it got there in one piece. My friend who happens to be the postmaster in Elgin Texas asked me how I was able to get this task done and I stated two of the most knowledgeable people in the New York postal service. So hats off to you both for a job well done and I thank you

I’ve lived all over New York State and I’ve never had to go and pick up packages at the post office before. Not really sure what the problem is but it’s very frustrating having to drive to get your mail when you’re paying for free shipping. I was told last time that a carrier had Covid so I found it interesting to see no employees wearing a mask.

"No secure location" is why my item wasn't delivered. It's called a mail box! ...and someone was home all day! Only phone number available is 800 number with 1 1/2 hour wait time!!!
Really and no local number to call post office directly! I'd give a minus 5 star rating if available. Glen Spey post office 12737

Absolutely terrible moved here a year ago had a 800$ camera coming in the mail and it was delivered to wrong address and when we contacted them they told us it was her sisters house that she no longer talks to and that they couldn’t help us, now 5 packages mysteriously couldn’t be delivered at 2 different times in 1 day something needs to be done here!
