Hillandale Shopping Center

Hillandale Shopping Center comprises of different stores. We can find Star bucks, India jewel, Domino pizza 🍕, Unique Village, Value thrift store ( Savers) and some others. It's a wonderful place to come shopping.
Savers ( Unique Village and Value thrift store) both receive donations from charities organizations such as Lupus America, OSD, NCC and others.

CVS pharmacy is no longer at the venue again. I discovered that today.

This thrift has many cool, high-quality things at a very affordable price. They have extra discounts on Mondays and Thursdays. Tuesdays for seniors

Worth the drive from Baltimore to Silver Spring! I always find great things here for my home. Huge selection!

Well I go there to go to Value village. Value village makes stores like Tjmaxx and Marshalls look bad sometimes with clothes and shoes. Other sections , well..its a thrift store. Apart from donations don't know where they get there merch. But they have some really nice and different clothes sometimes. I would check them first for some items.

But they keep same items in both places so better check both portions
Only worth if you have discount coupon as prices are not cheap

I love to thrift. The best places have the best options, and this is a wonderland! I've been here 3 times since I first discovered the place, and I always spend no less than 2 hours inside. Just when you think you're done, you can't leave until you go to the other side. It's a mirror of what you just left...with more amazing finds! It's my new fav place to hunt.

Great place to shop and get groceries

It was late Sunday that I stop by and it was extremely hard to find parking here

I visited Value Village thrift store and found some really nice items at a great price! I will be visiting again. I loved the Starbucks at located at this shopping center as well !

Pleased to update the review. There's better parking conditions and not much loitering. Sometimes see security on the promises so that's great. Theres lots of great places to go. Safeway,Starbucks, big creek cafe and the thrift store.

You can almost find everything. Great prices.

Sent to Value Village. I was able to pick up some dress clothes. The prices were great. I'll definitely be coming back.

I have had nothing but good experiences at this Safeway.
1. It is always clean
2. The women bathroom is always presentable.
3. The store is well stocked with on sale items.
4. The shelf life on sale items are much longer than I have seen in other Safeway Store and other grocery stores.
5. The outside of the store is clean, the tables are clean as well.
6. The clerks and cashiers are courteous and always willing to help you find a product.
7. There is a large parking lot at this location.
8. There is a ramp for people with mobility conditions.
9. They have a thriving floral department!

There is no pharmacy at this store!

There are two Thrift stores in this Shopping Center, next door to each other, Unique and Value Village. They both have great price for their items. Unique seems to be a bit cheaper than Value Village. They are some how connected.
They both have a large selection of clothing, housewares, books, bedding, toys, and jewelry. They also have furniture. Don't sleep on this place, it is truly a gem.
Then there is the Safeway which is one of the cleanest Safeway I've been in. The store is always stocked with see items, th cashiers are friendly and helpful, and you see people working.
They have bathrooms if you need to use one.
They have a huge floral department with beautiful arrangements. I stop in there every time I go to this Shopping Center.

Love the Safeway in this shopping center! Very clean and well organized.

This was a great shopping plaza when I first went in 1993 and you know it's still a great shopping plaza. It doesn't look old or worn or anything it just looks nice. It is a first-class place to stop. I moved out of the area but when I got back and I stopped with a friend at Chipotle's for lunch and it was perfect. It brought back a lot of memories the Safeway there was my grocery store for a number of years.
It is Well lit, and well-maintained, and it's a safe place.

LOVE this thrift store- I go at least5 times a month…I have an addiction, lol!! They have TWO stores at this one location!! Also donations are easy: drive up and they unload for you, give you a tax receipt and a 20% coupon!!!

I go to the thrift stores in this shopping center and it's always quite the experience. I've definitely found some good pieces here. When I go, I try not to go when it's crowded, so mainly try to go early during the week, or at least not any later than 3 because people start coming in a bit later, from what I've seen. Anyway, I do recommend this shopping center for thrifting!
