Cancun Mexican Restaurant

Our first visit here and it did not disappoint! We each ordered a medium margarita on the rocks and the Texas fajitas. Friendly staff greets you immediately with warm tortilla chips and two salsas, a mild and medium I would guess. Drinks were huge for a medium and the food came out sizzling. Too much to finish so we have some nice leftovers. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Wow, truly delicious with every bite. Fresh and tender. Texas nachos with steak, chicken, and shrimp. The chips are so fresh and add to the freshness. The drink was great as well. The staff is amazing. So full and satisfied happy, happy, happy !

Had an awesome time at Cancun Mexican Restaurant! The vibe is super chill, great for hanging out with friends or a casual family dinner. You've got to try the Chile Poblano—it's the best! The peppers are perfectly cooked, stuffed with the perfect amount of cheese, and the sauce is just the right level of spicy. Totally makes the meal! Plus, the staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome. Definitely check it out!

So I moved here from Arizona,
Where the options for amazing Mexican food are endless.
But since moving to South Carolina Ive been missing my favorite places.
Until I discovered Cancun! It's amazing.
The food is fast and delicious
The service is friendly and welcoming.
The price is better then anywhere else I've gone.
We now eat here at least 2 a week. Lol.
I highly recommend the guacamole
The chicken is my favorite shredded or grilled. I can't get enough.

Probably the best shrimp cocktails that I've ever had. Over a dozen prawns with a delicious sauce made up of avocado, onion, and tomato. The Modelo with lime beer was great too. Excellent service and atmosphere. An absolute MUST TRY if you're in Piedmont!

This was our first time at Cajun Mexican Restaurant. If you’re in the mood for some good mexican fare then Cajun Mexican will fill your needs. The staff is very nice and the food was delicious. Just a short drive off the interstate too! We will definitely go back and try something different next time.

Good restaurant the food was okay it's not the greatest I've ever had but it's okay. Give him five stars Margaritas good beer was good. Service is good. Limited parking spots.

Great food. I had the shrimp Diablo and it was the best I've had anywhere. Service was good, friendly, polite and had chips & salsa on the table right away and a beer within minutes of sitting down. Gave enough time to look over the menu and enjoy the warn chips before taking my order. I've passed this place about 20 times, but never had the chance to stop in. I will certainly come back when I'm in town.

This was our first visit since moving to Piedmont. We had been by several times and there was always a good crowd. We stopped in today off peak at about 2:30pm. There was only one other customer.
We sat ourselves ( which is always nice to pick your own spot) and were promptly greeted by a nice young man who brought our drinks as well as a basket of fresh, WARM tortilla chips and 2 different salsas. The chips were fantastic and salsa was fresh and good. Very fine, thin type of salsa, not chunky. Neither were spicy. The one served in a small carafe was, perhaps, just a bit hotter.
The restaurant is charming and very clean. Seating ( we chose a booth) was very comfortable. While looking over the extensive...and impressive....menu the owner, Elmer, stopped by the table to greet us and introduce himself. He is a very sweet man and told us about his restaurant and how everything is from scratch and a bit about Piedmont, too. The smell of the food in the air told us real good, authentic things were coming! We really enjoyed meeting and speaking with him.
I ordered the steak and onion quesadilla and some guacamole on the side. The quesadilla was great. Fresh made tortilla, perfectly crispy and browned. Well stuffed with tender, well seasoned steak, grilled onions (yummo!) and the perfect amount of a VERY flavorful cheese. The guacamole was fresh and had good garlic flavor. I like it to have tomato and onion in it so should have ordered the guac with pico, as noted on menu. Not a big deal, as it was still great. My hubs doesn't normally eat it but he kept dipping his chips in it. I think the garlic flavor swayed him. He ordered the El Combo special combination plate which was HUGE! It had one of just about everything and came on 2 plates! The accompanying refrieds were creamy and good and the rice was FANTASTIC. Light and fluffy with great flavor. I'm not much for the rice usually but this was very good rice. My husband enjoyed all of the various sauces and each of the offerings. His only negative comment was there was "a bit too much cheese on the Chile relleno". I'm sorry but if too much cheese is wrong .......I don't want to be right!! Lol.
The service was great. Elmer brought our food to the table himself. The prices are quite reasonable for the freshness and quality of the food. It is so nice to have such a wonderful local place to visit for a great meal that doesn't cost a small fortune today. That means we can pop in more often! And we surely will.

I ate here recently with my friends. They all thought it was hilarious when I literally could not believe the food came so quickly it was almost like we were in another dimension or in a dream. I don’t even think our food took five minutes. Everything taste it fresh and amazing and they changed a few items to fit my Gluten Free allergy. Highly recommend them they were very sweet. The place was clean and the atmosphere was fun.

Great place - We love the Chicken Chimichangas here. All of the staff are so nice and helpful. The prices are good and the portions are great! Clean and well kept.

Nice fresh Mexican food! Drivers don’t be lazy it’s only 7 minutes walk from Pilot!
