Proof 22

I mean, this food and service was just AMAZING. We had plans for a different place which was closed for winter break, so we jumped into 22 Proof by shear luck, and lucky we were. Drinks, on point with drink menu. Food was far better then I have ever expected. Brisket was soft and on point, not over soaked in sauce. Burger was made from scratch, not a frozen patty. French fried pickles AMAZING, cookie baked in a skillet AMAZING.. service attentive and always arrived just as we needed, without over crowding us.. and live music and games.. so glad we happened onto this place.. we will now make it a regular. Clean and spacious, Texas barn themed.. just loved it.

An Unexpected, Delicious Thanksgiving

We took a spontaneous drive to Plymouth, Thanksgiving Day: It took several phone calls to find a place open AND not booked.

But Proof 22 served an excellent Thanksgiving meal, even allowing for creative substitutions for my being gluten-free.

The pumpkin pie for dessert, was the chef's family recipe, made with fresh pumpkin (not can): Definitely more than we were expecting from a bar.

Found this place on a whim when it was too wet and rainy for the food truck festival. Definitely the better option! We did their charcuterie board, deviled eggs, brisket grilled cheese and smokehouse sampler. The food was fresh, perfectly smoked and delicious. I mean homemade pimento cheese??? Who can't get behind that lol??? Worked our way through the cocktails - creme bru-yay, salty Cinnamon fashioned, Nutella martini, white sangria, pumpkin coffee cake - not a single complaint. The pumpkin coffee cake is a great dessert option. And the staff? Everyone, from the ladies at the host stand to the security guard to our server, Alex S., was pleasant, fun, professional and accommodating. As a 30+ year industry veteran, I can be a tough sell sometimes, but hands down I will recommend this place all day every day. Don't miss it when you're in Plymouth.

The bartender Ryan was inviting to consumers. Friendly. Listened to the needs. Provided his thoughts on drinks and food. Smiled. Took the time to respond. A class act.

I was there for the open mic on Wednesday night. Hosts of the event were great everyone was able to get up and play a couple of tunes.

Proof 22 was able to create a great atmosphere for this event. I did not get any food, but the beer was cold and served swiftly. Kudos!

Stopped by after dinner for a drink and dessert. Cookie was amazing! Drinks were good. There was live music with a hilarious band. My first time there. We sat at the bar and it got very very busy within a hour. Got a little difficult to get a bartender attention. But that's what happens when it's busy. I still didn't have to wait for a long time tho and got my drink quickly once I did order.

Our first time in since it opened. All the other restaurants were an hour wait. We walked right in here and were seated promptly. I had steak tips my wife had salad and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Service was good.

Came here bright an early on this -8 degree day with my wife. Service was excellent and the food was spot on. We had the Mulhall platter which could have fed 3 of us so the 2 of us are looking forward to our leftovers! Cant wait to come back !

My favorite place to be on the weekends! Morgan is hands down the best bartender she’s so sweet, she gets to everyone so fast and always makes an amazing drink!!

The place was packed with attractive people, the band was on point, and people were dancing. Perfect way to spend an evening.

I had the large brisket tacos with homemade corn tortillas.
They were absolutely delicious.
And I had to bring one home , I baked the whole taco and fries in the oven and it tasted just as good the next day, no soggy taco 🌮

Amber is the best bartender I've ever had in Plymouth MA, she is personable and is amazing at what she does

This place was very delicious. I thought the brisket was amazing. Very good experience and good vibe. I would most definitely come back for food again.

We had the most delicious dinner last night here! We started with shrimp fritters which we love and have ordered before, and once again, they did not disappoint. We both got the Salmon special which was absolutely amazing!! Perfectly cooked, and seasoned with crusted sunflower seeds, special sauce (Awesome!) and zucchini over risotto. Hope this special comes around again! : ) Dessert was a sorbet and also very good. Thank you for a fantastic meal and excellent service!

Ordered what I thought was food for 10 when my previous plans fell through. Got a call from the sous chef checking to make sure I wanted food for 20!!! Worked with me, checked with the chef, doubled-checked with me. Came out to check again when I picked up the food. These people was terrific. Please support them. And the food was fantastic. Everyone, and I mean all 10 of us, loved it!

Proof 22 did the right thing. They opened in the former popular T-Bones restaurant and really understood the former clientele.
The food is great (BBQ mostly) and reasonable portions and prices. The beer is cold and priced right (mostly 8 bucks or less for a pint of draft) the service is excellent and the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed. Kudos!

Food was awesome came out nice and hot, my kids loved everything on the menu. The ribs were amazing and the pulled pork was fantastic. Definitely will be going back

I came here recently with my family and truly loved the experience with the food, employees, and the atmosphere. We were given great recommendations on food and it was amazing! My favorites are the beet salad and the jambalaya. Great southern inspired food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and plan on returning soon!

Husband and I went for the first time. Our waitress Whitney was great, super knowledgeable & even helped my husband decide between 3 different dishes. We had the Jambalaya, Southern Giant burger, and the chili... the food was so good, we will be back for sure to try more!

Everything was great. As a relocated Southerner from Texas, I was looking forward to trying this restaurant out. It did not disappoint. My sides were authentic and my steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it. My only off comment would be that I wish they had real southern sweet tea. But this is not intended to be a complaint. :)
