Amazing gem just outside the Tahoe National Forest. The hot springs are lovely. The lodging is basic and has everything you need. The staff is so friendly and makes your stay perfect. My massage was amazing. Can't wait to come back!

We recently bought a day pass and fully immersed ourselves in the Sierra Hot Springs experience!

Not only did we enjoy all of the Hot Springs but we also enjoyed an superb hour-long massage with Angela — she gave me one of the — if not the — best massages we’ve ever had in our lives!

I have also camped at Sierra Hot Springs and it’s a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to do it again later this summer!

I’m a long time, Sara, Hot Springs visitor and I can never say enough good things about this amazing establishment!

Cool hot spring the short interaction with the staff was very informative and positive. Extremely nice and helpful. The pools were nice I like the one back in the woods the best. The super hot one was just that. Loved the sauna and cold plunges as well.

This is a great place to get away and relax. Whether you just want peace and quiet and/or to soak in the hot springs this is the place. Samantha and Krystal were so helpful and very friendly.

I love Sierra Hot Springs so much. It's one of the most peaceful spots I've been too. The Philosophy Cafe always has delicious food. The only time I don't have a good time is when there are kids splashing in the warm pool. I wish there was a sign that was more clear about no splashing. There is a sign that says in a roundabout way for parents to take their kids elsewhere if their energy is too much but it seems like it's not taken seriously.

Amazing experience always! Friendly kind staff who go the extra distance to make you feel loved! There was a live spiritual music playing in the main house , really classy and helped me reconnect to my innermost god.. very healing environment all around . I love to support this local business ❤

Wonderful place. We drove up, checked in for our day pass, and then enjoyed the main pools for a couple hours. Sauna is excellent with steam option. Showers readily available. Clothing optional of course! The temple dome is magical and the hot/cold circuit is really fun and relaxing. You can smell the minerals! A beautiful view. Currently there is some construction going on near the meditation pool but it didn’t take away from the peace. Definitely worth a visit!

We drove our camper and stayed in this place's parking lot in late October. Wonderful experience! Utterly relaxing, non pretentious. The shared kitchen and lobby is my favorite place to hang out. Spring pools are well maintained, plenty of shower space. Everyone is friendly and respectful.

Been coming here for 20 years. They really have it dialed in nicely now. Reservation system and closed days for the employees to regenerate. We camp in the forest behind and are so grateful that management respects our rights and are increasingly kind. Love this iteration of the springs you’re doing great.

We left so.e cash and another item in our room, and they found us as we were headed to the meditation spring and returned the valuables! Also, the place is fantastic!

A mellow, relaxing abode with delightful hot springs in a beautiful Sierra location. It's a well-preserved hotel that is nicely appointed and very comfortable. Beautiful woodwork everywhere. A place to get away from TVs and cell phone conversations, but there is good wifi and limited cell phone coverage. The kitchen is large and well equipped and rather busy at peak hours, but everybody was cooperative and cleaned up after themselves. Instructive signs everywhere. Lots of wonderful indoor and outdoor places to sit and eat or read or quietly converse. The small shared bathrooms were clean and convenient. The hot springs are the highlight - a short, comfortable walk on either side of the hotel. An amazing variety of settings and temperatures that are perfect for quiet meditation.

Perfect for a 2 night getaway. I came here with my girlfriend during a snow storm and we couldn’t have been happier. The scenery around the facility is stunning; valleys of untouched snow, hearing wind through the evergreens, and soaking in some hot spring water as you forget about everything else.

Check in was friendly and easy. Crystal helped us get acquainted with the facilities, told us about water temperatures, and answered any questions we had. We stayed at the globe hotel a short 5 minute drive away or so and drove to the hot springs every day. We ate food at the philosophy cafe and the local restaurants in town; you can’t go wrong with any because it seems all the chefs are some of the best in the world.

The facilities, they were amazing. Wonderfully cared for, clean, and plenty of space for everyone. You can spend all your time at the more social temple dome area which has sun decks, hot pool, cold baths, warm pool, and sauna. The Phoenix baths are great if you just want privacy, and the meditation pool for the prime nature experience. Do be prepared, this is a clothing optional hot spring area. Some groups attend the hot springs complete covered, some partially covered, and some completely nude. Single, couples, and families all present.

Anyway, before I make this review too long, this place is amazing. Can’t recommend it enough.

“Lighter and Brighter”: A Review
“What you are looking for, IS where you are looking from.”

Well it all started when we were planning on going to Lassen National Park. Little did we know the springs are connected to the volcano (heresy). Sulphur, magnesium, potassium… divine gifts, mineral candy land, from ancient earth are your new kindred spirits for the duration of your stay.

Be on the lookout for:
- dragonflies who want to land on your tent
- Janice with the inner radiance
- altars on the pool to pool trail
- a full moon everyday
- light beams of amber and golden rivers shooting out of a saint’s hands

Remember to: hydrate, watch the moonrise, & philosophize at the cafe.

Great place to relax. Make sure you bring your own lunch. The cafe hours are limited but you will have access to a kitchen in the lodge.

This felt like an amazing hidden gem. Extremely relaxing experience from start to finish. They are on top of the rules so please be familiar with them and respect them if you go. Clothing may be optional but almost everyone chooses to go natural. All the other guests were very respectful and nobody stared at the bodies. My wife and I loved our time here and we will certainly be back!
