The Globe Hotel

This is the offside hotel for Sierra hotsprings. As such, it is a little less convenient than staying in the lodge. That said, the globe is great for the ease of access to Sierra hot springs and for providing an almost hostel like environment. The hotel is impeccably clean, and employees are helpful when needed, but it is otherwise a simple hotel with a kitchen for making meals. I like to eat, and we have cooked everything from ramen to prime rib in their kitchen. You could of course eat at the Philosophy Cafe at the lodge.

Great place to stay for soaking in the hot springs and quieter and more peaceful than the lodge. However, be prepared to have some cars drive by as it is right at an intersection in town.

Wonderful people, good Mexican food nearby, quiet historic hotel, very clean. You share a bathroom but it doesn't even feel that way cuz each toilet has its own room. Old school cuz hotel is 100 years old or something. Safe, trusting environment with shared fridges and kitchen you can cook in. Very cool. Surprised by how nice it is cuz thought it would be more rustic.

The Globe Hotel is that of a rustic beauty with a sense nostalgia. Friendly staff creating a comfortable welcome. Beautiful country setting made me want to stay in Sierraville, Ca....

What a great hotel! It is very comfortable. With a soak in the springs last night we slept like logs! Definitely worth every penny! We are staying one more night.

Very quaint and cozy little Inn. Kitchen is fully functional and ready to meet your needs if you desire to cook yourself something. Very clean

Beautiful old hotel in the heart of Sierraville. The staff is friendly and kind. Kitchen and common use areas are spectacular. Definitely recommend.

Quiet room, big shared bathrooms, great kitchen and just a short drive from the fabulous hot springs
