First time trying this place. We were seated pretty quickly given we didn't reserve a table. Nice roomy booths. Friendly service. The fish quality was great, a little cheap on the fish egg... but nice size pieces of fish. Also tried small tasty appetizers and salads, which i didn't photograph. We didn't try the rolls, with two trays of sushi/sashimi felt like we slightly over ordered for 3 people (after having appetizers). For me personally 1.5 hour sit down limit time makes you kind of feel like you have to watch the clock, i didn't love that for the evening family outing. But all in all it was a good and tasty experience.

Their food is sooooooo delicious and their service is excellent! I dined with a party and the wait was not long. Always fresh and served. Everything is cook to order. Just a friendly tip, definitely pace yourself there is so much to try on their menu 😋.

My initial experience at Hiro Bistro alongside my cousins was nothing short of impressive. From an array of sushi options to their standout vegetarian offerings, each dish surpassed expectations despite the slightly upscale pricing. Subsequent takeout orders have consistently delivered, particularly their vegetarian sushi rolls, which never fail to satisfy. I confidently recommend Hiro Bistro for both dine-in and takeout experiences. Plus, the interior aesthetics add a touch of refinement to the overall dining ambiance.

I have come to this establishment at least a dozen times at this point and every time I have not been disappointed.

When entering, you are greeted by smiling employees full of energy.

The food, especially the sushi here is the freshest and cleanest I have seen. My favorites are the amazing grace roll and red curry chicken dinner box. The dinner box has a lot of things in it and is worth the price.

As for environment, it is well lit and the music taste is exquisite. It is also kept clean.

Was totally worth the 75 minute wait. Everything was flavourful. Sushi was so so good. Their Spicy Tuna and Spicy Salmon rolls are now my favourite.

Hadn’t been here in a few months but just went back again. Even better than I remember. I can honestly say that this is the best AYCE sushi place in New Jersey. The quality of the fish is great, the rolls are delicious and there are plenty of appetizers to choose from.

The staff who work here are very nice and attentive. I have not been here and had a bad experience in the slightest (have been here about 8 times).

I would certainly recommend giving this business a try if you are in the mood for some good sushi.

First review - This was my second time at Hiro and each time was equally as enjoyable. The sashimi and sushi are very fresh and delicious. The rice was tasty which is usually lacking at AYCE places. I was pleasantly surprised with how quick the orders were made and brought out. Most items are brought out within 10-15 minutes. The servers are pleasant and attentive as well.

My only gripe, which is minor, is that I wish it was laid out a bit differently as then I could watch the chefs make the food which I enjoy.

This place is quite a far drive for me but I like to treat myself to sushi once a week and will certainly be making this trip more often.

Wow! Everything about this place blew me away… from the attentive and kind staff, to the luxurious decor, to the absolutely delicious food. I had the all you can eat. The sushi was perfect ratio of fish to rice and so fresh. The hot dishes were plentiful in options and also so delicious. I had chow fun and Thai basil fried rice, both which were cooked authentically and were so flavorful. Highly recommend this spot!

The had the shirp tempura , Boston sushi roll and both were fresh and well made.
The Mongolian beef had beef so tender it almost melted in the mouth

I come here regularly with friends to get my sushi fix. BYOB. The staff is attentive and part of the reason I keep coming back. If you show up on a Friday evening, be prepared to wait but there is a nice fountain nearby as well as outdoor seating and benches so you will be comfortable until they call you.

We tried AYCE menu and it was great. Our waitress Katherine was quick in clearing our plates. I really liked the sushi appetizers like yellowtail jalapeño, Yuzu salmon, and white tuna. We paced ourselves and got 3 rounds of food (to minimize food waste). Surprisingly the Mongolian beef was also good. They have a good variety of kitchen apps too. Overall a great place for AYCE if you’d like Asian fusion foods.

Incredible sushi, huge variety, most I have seen anywhere. Most importantly, the taste was super fresh. Extremely friendly staff. I will never go anywhere else.

With the size of the selection and on top of that, the quality and price for the all you can eat…. This place is amazing!!!

Hiro sushi has both AYCE and Ala carte options. The food quality is very very good. We went on a weekend. It gets super crowded. You will have to wait for your table during peak hours. Wish they took reservations but nope. The pricing is very reasonable. 33$ for adults and 15$ for kids for AYCE for weekend dinner.
Our fav was salmon sashimi, short ribs and Mongolian beef of the entire lot. The service is pretty good considering how busy they are. Restrooms are clean. And yes, it is also BYOB! If you love sushi AYCE look no further….

Best all you can eat sushi place in the area, hands down! For an AYCE spot, they have the most unique special rolls out of any that I’ve been to. The fish is fresh, and the addition of Chinese & Thai options put it over the edge!

I've traveled all over Jersey looking for the perfect AYCE sushi restaurant and I've finally found it.

The service and attentiveness started off a little rocky but once it caught the attention of the manager, it was great the rest of the night.

There were so many hot dishes to choose from, I was really impressed with the choices from Chinese to Thai food. The sushi was delicious and very fresh. What I like about their sushi is it's not packed with so much rice to fill you up fast. I enjoyed the tuna sashimi that is my favorite.

I can't wait to patronize this establishment again. I do recommend coming early as it was busy around the time we got there (6:30pm Saturday), had to wait and hr but it was definitely worth it.

This is easily the best sushi spot in the Plainsboro and the entire Princeton area. I admire that they’re always trying to keep the quality of food and service over the years. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Keep up the good work guys.

Been here a couple times since it opened. Usually seated quite fast and service is decent. Prices are always going up which is a downside but their food is high quality and delicious. I recommend to get as many specialty rolls and sashimi as possible when doing all you can eat sushi because it will get your money's worth. Most appetizers are delicious too. Kani salad and the gyozas are my favorite appetizers. Seaweed salad is a classic. Tupperware was cute and it is a nice atmosphere. Will always come back when craving sushi!

My second time here, flying 3 hours to get here just for the perfect food. They have the best sushi and the most delicious ribs I have ever taste, which makes me keep thinking about for months after my first visit. The services were nice and the place were clean and tidy. Good place for enjoying your meal and deserve my travel, definitely will come again.
