I often find myself perched at the bar desk, engaging in light banter with the barista – who happens to be the owner more often than not – as I sip my dark roast.

Adding to its appeal, this coffee shop is set in Grover’s Mill, a town etched in popular culture by Orson Welles’ renowned radio broadcast “The War of the Worlds,” as the location for a fictional Martian invasion. The shop has skillfully integrated this intriguing theme into its ambiance, providing a unique and engaging atmosphere for its customers.

In a delightful twist, they host free music on weekends, transforming into an intimate concert venue featuring local musicians. Before I visited I was already aware of the scenery and Wars of the World related theme and that’s a lot of fun but the owner and Master Roaster Isa Elci was a pleasure to talk to and you can tell he takes pride in his shop and has an amazing variety of coffees from around the world. I was impressed and can easily say definitely one of the best cups of coffee I ever had. So good actually I went back twice for another cup!!

This place is amazing. The vibe is great. Music is great and honestly its the best coffee i've ever had.

This coffee shop in central Jersey is a rare gem among the multitude of chain establishments. It provides a cozy setting where you can relax and savor a cup of coffee alongside your favorite scone. On Saturdays, you can delight in exceptional live music performances. I recently attended their owner's monthly Turkish coffee night and indulged in what was possibly the most delectable Baklava I've ever had in the United States. I highly recommend this place for coffee enthusiasts seeking a unique and enjoyable experience.
