Parkview Regional Hospital

I was admitted for an infected abscess and was in the care of great nurses during my stay. Dr. Goss was my surgeon and was tremendous! His communication and skills were top notch and I recommend him for any needs he can assist you with. Thank you Dr. Goss and your team!

Dr. Kevin Jensen is literally the nicest doctor I've ever encountered in my life. You know you almost expect to get impatient, apathetic or at the very least robotic care when you go to an emergency room, but this place us such a gem. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctors were first rate. Such a welcome surprise especially for someone who just moved here to Mexia and doesn't know anyone.

Came in via ambulance with extreme pain in my abdomen. Nurses were very kind and comforting, doctor was knowledgeable and they found out what was wrong fast. I had a kidney stone! I'm so thankful to them.

Today I had mammograms and required sonograms. A radiologist was there to immediately diagnose the mammograms and sonograms. The hospital was very clean. The staff were friendly and professional.

Had a great experiance brought my husband in had to have stitches for a cut the nurses shelby and meagan were so great and Dr Bhatley did a great job.

Katie and Debbie are the most awesome supervisors ever and I couldn’t ask for a better work family

Staff was professional, and only thing was to hear that you didn't have my Insurance. I was disappointed , cause it is the closest hospital to me. Like down the street close enough to just walk instead of driving. Now I have to find a new hospital that takes my insurance. Plus understand when I come in I am totally broke so paying up front is not possible. That is my only complaint otherwise your staff is great they just need to smile more.

Parkview Hospital is amazing. I came in through the emergency room and was seen within 5 minutes. The staff were extremely caring and proficient
In their field. I was transferred to Waco to Ascension Providence Hospital. It was apparent that i had to be transferred. After receiving services in Waco, it had me realize that we should all be thankful to have Parkview Regional Hospital in our Community. The doctors and nurses in Mexia far passed what I experienced in Waco. I found that the staff at our Hospital were more caring, compassionate and more skilled to take care of patients. Kindness goes a long way!!

Love Dr. Thomas! He has been our family Dr for a long time. We are going to miss him so much. I have always been treated with respect and very well took care of by all of the Dr's at parkview clinic.

My experience with Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia Tx is hands down the BEST that you could ever ask for from a rural Hospital, period! They have saved many lives with their hard work, dedication, knowledge, and experience. My Daughter is one of the many and it is not hard to find out her story from Jan 13, 2021. Anyone that has something negative to say about the professionals at PRH must have never had a Tramatic Emergency to deal with in order to see what it truly means to have great care from a great group of people that work as hard as anyone to do a job that most everyday people could never do. It's time to show these medical professionals a little bit of gratitude and appreciation for showing up to work everyday, and going out of their way to give the best care possible to everyone that walks through the door.

The surgery staff was amazing, friendly and courteous. They were helpful in all my needs, the Anesthesiologist was amazing also, she answered all my questions. Dr Zielinski did an great job on my neck and he restored felling back into my fingers and no more shaking. Great job all the way around. Great hospital.

Recently visited for an unexplained chest pain. Being 65, I went to the hospital where the staff were very professional, prompt with delivery of services, and comprehensive. Salute to all!

We just spendt 4 days here. I must say our experience was excellent. Every staff member from top to bottom were gracious and kind. At a time where we are in such a low they extended every kindness. We are very very grateful to Mexia Regional Hospital for making this difficult time relaxing and comfortable ❤

During my Pre-op they took great care of me and many assisted me when I became lost wandering the hall.
Before, during and after my recent surgery I was greatly impressed with the level and care of the doctors, nurses and cleaning team.

First visit when bringing a friend for an injury was rather quick and efficient. This time when making a visit for myself due to somewhat of an lengthened medical problem, was treated somewhat rudely but after I voiced the noticed judgement in the voice and slight argumenative reply, was quickly ammended. Hopefully, the biased opinions of others will remain away from work, especially one that involves meeting and interacting with sick or injured individuals. So a 4 seems fair. After all, i know my medical history. Do you?

Dr. Jerry Simmons is the best doctor. He hasaid been my doctor for 20 years and I'm 32. He has treated my whole family. When every other doctor gave up on him, Dr. Simmons treated him and he lived another 10 years. That's only one instance where he he helped my family. He is truly one in a million.

Staff took really good care of me. The process was done in a decent manner and i left feeling a whole lot better tgen when I went in. Beth Victoria
