Tiff & Nan’s Diner

I was so happy to find a place in Emporium that was open for breakfast and had classic traditional all-american breakfast food!
I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette. It was good, but could have been better ..... but totally my fault that it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I should have specified that I wanted cheddar cheese. It came with American cheese by default, and I didn't expect that. But I have come to learn that American cheese is popular in this rural part of Pennsylvania, so that must be why they default to American if you don't specifically ask for something else. Also, I should have asked that the bacon in my omelette be cooked fairly crisp. It was a little undercooked and fatty for my tastes, but again it's my fault that I didn't specify how I wanted the bacon cooked.
The portions are on the moderate side, so if you're really hungry you may want to order extra sides or something.
COFFEE FOR $1.15 !!!!! AMAZING!
I love that they don't try to gouge their customers with high coffee prices. And yes, of course the $1.15 is for unlimited refills.
The inside of this place is spacious and you don't feel crowded or cramped at all. Lots of space in there, which is really nice. And everything feels nice and new - newly painted walls and trim, tile floor that looks new, bathroom fixtures that look new, everything looks and feels new and clean. It just feels good to be in there.

We had breakfast which was dine in, food was hot, good and plentiful and prices are very reasonable.
Very friendly staff.
We also had dinner, but did take out. Again, food was good and plentiful.
Will definitely return if we are in the area again.

I wasn't sure what to expect when walking in, but I was definitely surprised at how good the food is! Their dishes are simple & well-done - true good American diner food and good service. The place.needs a little attention to detail, but they're making improvements every time that I visit. I'll definitely return!

Won an overnight stay at a local motel, and found that food options are a little limited in Emporium. We came here for breakfast and were very happy with the quality and quantity of the food, the menu options, and the service and atmosphere! Great value for the price! Would definitely recommend!

Stopped for supper during a 4 hour trip home. It was Mother's Day and they were busy. There was four of us, we ordered burgers and sandwiches. Good food, good service at a fair price. Street parking was not a problem, lots of spaces.

We stop on our way through Emporium. Noticed a nice place to grab a bite to eat. The food was plentiful and very liked. We had the special of the day and we enjoyed it. Our server was a delight. We shall definitely be stopping here again soon. Thank you so very much for a wonderful meal. See you again soon.

Full disclosure, one of the owners Nan is a friend of mine that I graduated from the local high with. That being said, the food here is really good and at a reasonable price. I've had multiple meals here and have absolutely no complaints about the food, the service, or the restaurant in general. Good place to grab a bite.

Ham and cheese omelette was outstanding! Stuffed with ham and cheese! Perfect, crispy bacon and delicious home fries. Friendly service at a reasonable price. We'll be back!
