A fun pretty hip spot nearby DuPont circle, ideal for a lively date or instagrammable girls brunch out. Even when I went during dinner time, the place was packed and lively. There is outdoor and indoor seating. The decor inside is flowery, verging tropical, making for a trendy aesthetic experience. The dinner menu is very compact but all the food was delicious. The hummus specifically is an absolute must try. The workers were very attentive and fast. Looking forward to coming back!

Was in dc to catch the cherry blossoms and came here for the ambience, which did not disappoint! You'll need a reservation on their patio if you want to sit under their beautiful cherry blossoms decor and it really is pretty! Food was excellent! We got some drinks, including the seasonal Sakura special which I love, and shared some plates. Their risotto is so good, I would gladly come back again, just for that risotto! Steak tartare was also a favourite of mine, just so yummy! The waitress told us that they change the decor every season, which certainly keeps things exciting! Highly recommend checking this place out when you're in DC!

We came to Residents for our 6 month wedding anniversary and March date night. SO good. Service was incredible- we had a bottle of wine and didn’t have to pour myself a single glass. Food was phenomenal- we had the steak tartare, mini gyros, whipped hummus and bowl of fries. Will totally be back to check out their spring menu and decor!

My sister and I made a reservation only a few days in advance for Sunday dinner.
The menu had a nice variety of options.
Service was excellent.
We sat on the patio that extended off the front of the building. Really cozy atmosphere.
We had the Salmon & Sorrel, Lamb Kefta, Hummus, and the Chocolate Bar.
Everything was so delicious and perfectly portioned.
It's totally worth all the hype on the Internet.

Parking anywhere in DC can be troublesome, but there is a parking garage directly across from the restaurant, which was super convenient.

This place was amazing until a really loud crowd came in! The noise became super loud. This place is great for pictures, drinks, and yummy food to share! Our server gave great recommendations and we definitely enjoyed!

The ambiance is beautiful! Make a reservation for brunch ahead of time for the outside patio! They have heaters and comfy seats. Service was quick and food was great, my friends got the pasta and I got the avocado toast and egg. I would recommend this place.

This place was so nice! The food menu was well thought out. I think they change it with the seasons to keep things fresh. The cocktails were perfectly crafted- all fresh ingredients and juices. We sat at the bar for dinner, and had a great experience. My only complaint is the barstools were a tad uncomfortable, other than that- a great experience.

Hands down the best brunch spot in the city. Delicious cocktails, great food, very cool and chill atmosphere and of course an outstanding service! Everyone who works there is incredibly professional and yet friendly, fun and very easy going. Have to mention Vladimir separately because he went above and beyond with his service. He along can be the reason to come there!

I’ve seen promotions for this establishment through social media and have been looking forward to trying it out! I must say that my expectations have been blown through the roof! From the atmosphere, to selective, but rich menu selection, and friendly waitstaff, we have had such a memorable experience. Truly, this experience wouldn’t have been so special if not for our fantastic server Anton who was so attentive to our needs and offered such friendly service. we will be back!

Upon entry the Host was polite and courteous. Our Attendant Antwon(spelling) was very engaging, knowledgeable on the menu and just overall amazing. Food was delightful. Overall experience was two thumbs up!!

The octopus was perfect! The seasoning were so complex and cooking point was just right. The fries were a great complement dish. Had the bee # 4 and it was so good. We had the mini gyros. The lamb was delicious but pricey for how tiny they are. Had profiteroles for dessert and the dulce de leche was so good. Not too sweet and so smooth. Our waiter, Marcos, was super responsive and professional.

Phenomenal dinner and a great place to celebrate special occasions. The ambience, music, decoration and taste of the food and great service all came together perfectly. Everything is definitely more on the expensive side, but the taste was worth it. I think the espresso martini is overhyped, it’s on the strong side and doesn’t have any sweetness to it but it did have a little delicateness to it with the foam and shaved chocolate. The mushroom risotto is one of the best risottos I’ve ever had and I’m from Italy so that’s saying something! I suggest grabbing 1-2 smaller plates and splitting an entree, to get a variety of flavors to fill up on. Their layered chocolate bar cake was insanely good to finish off the night!
I will be suggesting this restaurant to anyone visiting the DC area!

Our favorite dinner we had in DC. The service was incredible and we loved all the recommended food. We started with the gyros, then we had the pesto burrata, and finished with the crab & artichoke risotto. Everything tasted decadent and fresh.

I love when I stumble upon a great new bar! My friends and I randomly came into this spot over the weekend after brunch and were so pleasantly surprised by the amazing service, warm decor and the very very good cocktails. Espresso martinis were phenomenal and our bartender (Herraro?) was so personable. Ambiance and quality make this great for a happy hour or date night. I’ll have to be back to try some food!

The staff are friendly and welcoming. How server was very attentive to us and other tables. When we asked for an item that was served on dinner instead brunch he was able to get it for us. The fish burger had amazing flavors and pairings. Our drinks were the icing on the cake.

Great bar close to DuPont circle. The service was quick, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I tried the espresso martini, it's highly recommended but they have a full menu of great cocktails. I didn't try the food so I can't speak to it's quality. They do charge a service fee of 20%. Not a deal breaker for me but it should be known before dining here.

I’ve been to residents several times and always had a good experience. Last night, I had a reservation for the heated patio during the holidays and the customer service was over the top.

Our food came out VERY quickly so our drinks came about a minute later. We didn’t complain at all because it really wasn’t an issue, but they provided free shots to “make up” for it. My friend isn’t drinking right now so she didn’t drink the shot. They noticed this and gave us free dessert too. Truly went above and beyond and it was an amazing, magical night! Love their creative vegetarian options for food and seasonal cocktails. Their mocktails are also to die for. Pricey, but worth it for this level of service. Thank you for everything ✨

We had some of the best food and cocktails we’ve had in a long time! The dishes were a fusion of different cultures and all of them incorporated lots of fresh produce. We loved all of the appetizers and entrees we got, but some of our favorites were the tempura snap peas, lamb gyros, hummus, octopus, gnocchi. We finished the meal with the basque cheesecake, cream puffs, and their homemade chocolate bar. All incredible! We came for dinner on a Thursday so it was busy, but the service was still so speedy and attentive. We got to meet the chef de cuisine, KC, and he was so welcoming, even telling us about the inspiration for some of the dishes. Great experience!

Always a great time at Residents. The lemon decor for the summer is extremely cute, and the gyros they’re currently serving are delicious. Service is phenomenal and food comes out quickly. Great date night spot with gorgeous cocktails. I’ve been many times for dinner but still need to check out their brunch.

I’m not much of a brunch person. But! I will do brunch at Residents. Anytime.

Every staff member is friendly and helpful. They genuinely care about their guests and want them to have a good time.

The cocktail selections are really interesting and delicious. My fave is the Mexican coffee. I’ve often said, “Move over espresso martini. Here comes the Mexican coffee!”

Finally, the food. So many great dishes with wonderful flavors. They are all so different you’ll want to keep coming back to try them all. We certainly have!
