Miguels Pizza

An excellent place to stop in at get breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have no.prepared pizza options so you are free to make up whatever combination thag you want from the various selections. They also just sell their pizza by the slice so you only need to pay for how many pieces you want.

Downright the best place to go in Red River Gorge. I've made so many incredible memories, met so many lifelong friends, and all around it is just one of my favorite places period.
It truly is a home for people who stay there and not alike, an atmosphere of acceptance and joy that is second to none, and pizza, coffee, sandwiches, and breakfast that is to die for.
If you like having fun and good times, meeting strangers that will change your life, and memories for years and years to come, stop by, stay a while even. Come eat some pizza in the warm sun (or a fire at night) with an Ale 8 and some friends.

I really can’t say enough good things about Miguel‘s first this is a very popular place that is highly recommended in the area. We decided to go hiking at natural bridge, and a few people recommended it during our hike which we had already planned to come by anyways lol, Miguel’s is known for having very fresh food fresh from the farm &fast service. You cannot beat well worth the wait it did take about 25 minutes. The pizza was amazing affordable and you can tell that it was fresh. I came with a group of friends who all got different things. Some of them decided to get margaritas and they said they were great as well. Good and strong. The only negative thing I would have to say is there was a black olive or two in my pizza which I didn’t order and I don’t like black olives, so I wasn’t too happy with that, but for the quick service and the great taste of the pizza it will definitely be a place that I returned to.

Always busy but for good reason. Visited for pizza one night and lunch another day. All things were delicious. So many options for many different diets! The atmosphere is fun for partiers, families, dogs, and kids! A must visit.

Miguel’s is a classic for climbing in the RRG. The staff at the restaurant and gear shop were all incredibly helpful and friendly.

The staff at the restaurant were very accommodating of a gluten allergy and helped inform us of what could be done to prep the food safely. 5/5 we will absolutely be back!

Must-Go restaurant if you're ever in the Red River Gorge & Natural Bridge area!!! Amazing iconic pizzeria! Outdoor activities, shoe-tree, climbing gear shop etc!!! 👍👍👍

I came here earlier this week after a full day of hiking and this pizza does not disappoint! This is a great little bustling joint for one of America's favorite foods.

I am from New Jersey, and this region is blessed with the best pizza. I don't often find pizza that is appealing to me when travelling, but this place has delicious pizza! Also my salad was huge! Fun atmosphere, kind staff. Went in the off-season, was quick no wait for a table. Very busy place in warmer months. Will stop there again if in the area.

If you do not stop here, you are doing yourself a great injustice! Super friendly, clean, and delicious food. Visited multiple times on our trip and cant wait to come back! Bonus they also have on-site camping!!!

Miguel‘s is a cult classic. I can see why. You go for a hike in the red river gorge and then you need to be able to get nourishment and what perfect way to do that then with pizza. Miguel‘s is very unassuming. it is off the main road in Slaton Kentucky in a yellow building. The menu is extensive if your vegan don’t worry. If you’re vegetarian, don’t worry. They have plenty of options. The prices are also very reasonable. We got a cheese pizza, eight slices $12. The pizza was yummy and tasty and the space to have is was plentiful . This was excellent. We ate outdoors. Watched the kids play basketball and enjoyed our pizza. This was the perfect way to end a hike.

Heard how great Miguel’s was so we decided to give it a try. First the atmosphere is great they have two levels of indoor dining if you want air during the summer, after that the outside has three different areas of seating including covered areas if you don’t want to sit under the trees. They had a two man band the night we were there which was really good we definitely enjoyed that. On the down side do not expect to get your food fast on the weekends they are very busy and it takes a lot of time to make that many pizzas so enjoy the basketball court and maybe a few drinks as you wait. The pizza is average to most good pizza places nothing spectacular but good with a well cooked crust. Price is as you would expect being in a tourist area (pricey) but not out of control. You should definitely try this place while in the area. On a side note it is very pet friendly so if your are or your not an animal lover expect to see and be near plenty of them.

This is a must go when visiting the Red River Gorge, friendly staff, delicous pizza (well done in pictures) and a variety of local draft beers available! I backpacked for 3 days and stopped by on my last day. Lots of indoor/outdoor seating, a gear shop and camping available in the back lot for a small fee. Very happy with my experience here and will be sure to tell my friends! Thank you 🙌

Went to Red River Gorge and stopped in for Pizza.. It just happened to be International Pizza Day so it was fun to get pizza. The pizza was amazing. I definitely recommend this. The cashier was really sweet and the restrooms were clean. The outdoor picnic tables were great too. Sitting there listening to all the birds and enjoying nature was fabulous.

Been to RRG several times but had never had Miguels before. Definitely lived up to the hype. I made my own pizza and two slices was more than enough. Beware of the margaritas if you’re a lightweight; they were very strong. Tasted like straight tequila with a splash of lemon. Overall though, the atmosphere is laid back and family friendly and the food was delicious.

Nice place to eat, even with all the people there, they were pretty good at getting the food to you. Won't be the cheapest pizza with all the add on toppings at 2.00 ea, but you are in the hills , so it's the only pizza. They have outdoor seating as well, beer on tap and canned, ciders too.

A true one of a kind. This is a must stop when traveling through the gorge. They have your back from breakfast to dinner. Fresh food that hits the spot after a hard day of climbing or hiking in the red. Pizza is easy and super customizable. Lots of vegan selections. They even have beer now. If traveling through Slade you have to make it here just to say you have. This gem used to be a hot spot for just climbers but not now its super popular on the weekends in the summer so get in early.

I went with a group of people after our hiking to stop by for some pizza we had for lunch. The atmosphere outdoor was really nice to eat out as you are able to see the scenery of the colorful trees at Red River Gorge. But let me tell you, the Pizza experience that I have eaten was beyond amazing. There are so many options to choose from, and the taste has this vibe of a CRISPINESS as you are chewing it through. So, my rating Miguel‘s pizza would be 1 MILLION/10 that I had over at the Red River gorge area. I would highly recommend anybody who gets HANGRY from a hiking trip!!

I've been here a few times whenever I get to the Gorge. Great atmosphere and great pizza, especially considering how close it is to so much great climbing and hiking. It's always busy when I'm there so expect a bit of a wait but there's always something going on outside so it wasn't bad. I always see lots of pets too! Good variety of drinks and a very flexible menu. I even got sweet potatos on my pizza once (better than it sounds).

Totally understand why Miguel’s pizza is ranked amongst the best in Kentucky.
I ordered a whole pie with tomato sauce, meat balls, jalapeños, banana peppers & onions. All the toppings were fresh and tasty. The sauce was a bright red purée, slightly tangy tasting and not overloaded with seasoning’s.
The toppings were evenly spread, appropriately per portioned and the pizza was cooked thoroughly.
Many choices for where to sit indoor and outdoor. Outside is a basketball court & volleyball court, and is very active with hikers and those camping in the red river gorge.

Foreign bottled Coke is the only thing I can think would improve the experience (they serve canned soda).
