Bear Track Lake Cabins

Absolutely love this place. The cabin & property are phenomenal. We wanted to get snowed in & arrived the day before a big snowstorm. It was magical to explore the caves on the snow. Everyday was a little different scenery as the ice came then snow & ice melted. Such a beautiful place with the lake. Fred is a great owner & really cares about his guests.

Fred and Janice thought of every detail. Sleepy bears dream is a beautiful cabin for a family to stay in. Everything you need is there. Just bring yourself and food. The dock and trolling boat was one of the highlights to my children. They fished non stop and caught bass and bluegill. Upon arriving we saw two deer and the turtles in the lake were so funny and would follow you on the boat. The caves and trails on the property are so fun to explore.

Bear Lair was our favorite part of our week long trip exploring Kentucky. So relaxing. Extremely comfortable bed. Quietly located in the middle of the woods with a fishing boat and boathouse, three decks, rocking chairs, a porch swing. Lots of amenities in the house including a crock pot and coffee and filters for the coffee pot! Loved the hiking trail with caves on the property.

Another amazing vacation ! This place is my happy place. The only place I can go to and truly relax. Forget about life for a while. I have stayed at every cabin on the property at this point. The accommodations are above standards in my opinion. The owners are very friendly. They keep the property maintained and private, so we can have our peace and quiet. The cabins are very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. All you have to do is show up and bring food. Even with Red River gorge close by and all the tourist stuff, I would rather just kick back and stay here . On top of the cabins and fishing, there are amazing trails and caves to explore. I never want to go home when I visit. You can't beat it for the price ! Pictures to come

Stayed at Bear Lair with our kiddos (ages 4 and 6) over Memorial Day weekend. They loved it and were sad to leave. Had a great time fishing, boating, and exploring the trail/caves. The cabin was great, clean and well stocked. Would highly recommend. We're planning on heading back in the fall.

Perfect balance between nature and comfort!

Bear Track Lake Adventures has it all and it is BEAUTIFUL! The cabins are super comfy and have everything you need. You can tell the Owners thought of every detail to make sure your experience is just perfect.

The tranquil and relaxing lake, the surrounding woods with many trails, caves and creeks offer a ton of things to do.

For example, my husband and I took a super chill boat ride around the lake, just relaxed and took it all in.

I do like nature but wouldn't rough it up too much so the cabins were the perfect setting. Super nice, fully stocked and the perfect balance between being able to enjoy nature but having all the comforts I am used to at home.

We stayed at the Bear Lair cabin for a weekend getaway. It could not have been more perfect! It's better than the photos. The amenities like the icemaker and basic kitchen supplies made it feel even more like home. We will definitely go back!

We were on the last leg of our vacation and decided to find a cabin. We called multiple places, and all were booked solid--I think that's happening a lot with the Covid virus going around. As we were pulling out of the hotel lot, my husband's phone rang. It was the owner of Bear Track Lake Adventures asking if we had called earlier about a cabin. He had a cancellation. Yay! We stayed in the Bear Lair, which has EVERYTHING you could need in the kitchen. Just an perfectly spotless cabin, and use of the boat was the cherry on top. The trails and caves were really something to see! If you're in the area, this place is where you need to stay!

We actually stayed June of 2014, in the Bear Lair, for our honeymoon, and everything was AMAZING! We even lost my husband's brand new wedding band, and the wonderful owners helped us look all over the house and surrounding wooded area.... for hours! The ring was found much much later in our vehicle, but their help meant the world! What wonderful customer service! We could not have been happier with our experience at Bear Lair! We tell EVERYONE we meet about how fun, beautiful, and quiet, our trip was. We truly cannot wait until we can return!!! (P.S. the pictures do not give it justice; it is so beautiful and peaceful there.)

This place is amazing if you are looking for a quiet and well equipped cabin. It has everything you need except food and beverages and it is extremely clean and well maintained. Fishing is just a couple steps away and the fish were biting. We are definitely going back and highly recommend going there. There are caves and hiking trails. Just amazing.

We stayed at Bear Lair. Just me and my husband. It was very clean and equipped with everything. Fishing was super awesome. From the balcony it seemed like you were in the trees. The only thing we regretted was not staying for a longer period. We loved it and plan on returning.

My brother's my dad and I went 2 years ago the cabin was amazing. The owner was very friendly. It was a great experience and get away. The trails on the property were really cool. Fishing the lake was easy and fun.

Loved staying here. We will definitely return. The owners are great and very professional. I would give this place 10 stars 🌟 . Very clean and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. I honestly can't think of anything I would change. We stayed in the sneaky bear cabin very cozy. Thanks again we will be back soon.

This place is fantastic, fun,clean, not a dull moment , fishing was pretty good with hotdogs for catfish. We explored all the way around the lake a couple times in our 4x4 truck and our teenage boys rode their bikes all over, fished and took our kayaks out and the electric boat that's provided. You won't need to bring much with you. Food, clothes and fishing stuff is all we needed. Everything else is provided. We will definitely be back. Thank you Fred and Janice.
