PAIKKA

PAIKKA is an amazing venue!! The natural light & greenery create a beautiful atmosphere, and the casual lounge area coupled with vaulted ceilings and garage doors around the building makes this space one of a kind! It’s just what we wanted for our wedding day. The Green Room was also great to have (can book at additional cost) - we needed a home base for family & the wedding party. Liz was a helpful & communicative point of contact throughout the process, she worked well with our vendors & wedding planners. We also appreciated the freedom to choose our own vendors! This allowed us to shape our day just how we wanted and ended up saving money too. We seated our guests inside for the ceremony due to weather, but they still had access to the outdoor alley area for the night. PAIKKA handled our 150 guests no problem, and we were thrilled with the experience!

We had our wedding at PAIKKA in July 2022. It's a gorgeous space - modern with beautiful light. With the flexibility in bringing in vendors, we were able to create a celebration that felt like us. The space flows together seamlessly with three spaces -- the outdoor patio area, the "pink" room where we had the bar, photo booth, apps/dessert (and includes a lounging space), and the main space where we held both our ceremony and reception. PAIKKA was perfect for our day - highly recommend!

Where to begin with Paikka? It's simply the best. I am a wedding photographer and have shot more weddings at Paikka than any other venue in my 10 years of business. I love this space so much. Each wedding has it's own personality and this space really elevates the energy. The surrounding area is industrial and so much fun for me to get creative with each time. I have never run out of new ideas and places to shoot. Truly some of my most favorite weddings I have had the opportunity to capture have been at Paikka. The staff is lovely and have been incredible to work with each time!

I can't wait to be back!

I have rented PAIKKA at least 4 or 5 times for clients' events. I like the open concept and accessibility, one level, lots of parking, outdoor patio. The downside was no storage space, which they have now. I recommend to event planners out there

Such an incredible space for our big day! We love how customizable everything was as well as the open catering policy. Having the security of a gorgeous indoor option if our ceremony got rained out put us at ease. Luckily the day was beautiful and so was the venue! We also made great use of all of their open houses each month as our wedding day approached so we could visualize the space and talk with the site managers. Thank you, PAIKKA!

We cannot say enough great things about Paikka and the coordinating team. When we toured the space, we fell in love with the use of plants and overall aesthetic. The space is modern without feeling overly sterile and incorporates a lot of the building's original character. The outdoor ceremony site is absolutely stunning and the wood, black and white accents made all our design dreams come true.

We also chose Paikka for their vendor set-up. We are non-traditional and liked their "if you can dream it, you can do it" approach to food, liquor and design vendors. They made it feel like we were truly planning our special day as opposed to a copy/paste feel from other venues we toured.

The new Green Room (bridal suite) made the day even better and was incredible to get ready in. It was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed! We highly recommend this option if you are planning your event at Paikka.

The team is absolutely incredible - they are responsive, organized and provided direction on vendors, design and timing where needed.

PAIKKA is truly one of my favorite venues in the Twin Cities! I love the natural light and space for an outdoor ceremony and group photos. So many reception layout options and then there’s those hummingbird doors! Perfect for a big wedding that you want to feel intimate. Hope to shoot here again soon.

PAIKKA is even more stunning in person! We had the joy of photographing and filming a wedding here in January and truly it is such a great venue. They just acquired a brand new bridal suite which was perfect for getting ready photos! We love the modern vibe, live plants, and friendly staff. We can't wait to shoot here again!

The moment I followed PAIKKA on Instagram I knew I wanted it to be my wedding venue! I love the minimal beauty and the versatility of the space. I don't even know where to begin! Paikka was a dream venue for our wedding! It is the perfect mix of industrial and romance. The team at Paikka was a joy to work with and they truly made our day amazing! I would highly recommend Paikka for your wedding, or any event you may have! We also added on the green room rental and it was THE BEST space to get ready in prior to the wedding. If you are thinking about Paikka, do it!

Paikka is a unique venue. I have admired their space since it opened and began working with Paikka a few years ago. I have photographed weddings, events and updated headshots for their team on-site. The space is versatile in that way which is a major plus. It is open and spacious with the ability to make it your own depending on the event. I love that it is located amongst the older warehouse district in Saint Paul. There is still a lot of character surrounding the venue. And of course - the entire staff at Paikka are warm and welcoming. They are extremely helpful at all times. If you are considering hosting an event or your wedding at Paikka - do it.

As a wedding planner who has worked at dozens of venues, I always recommend PAIKKA! They have incredible staff and very clear communication. An absolutely beautiful backdrop, rain or shine! Tons of great places to take pictures and everything that you need is included in your venue rental! Can't wait to work here again!

Paikka is a beautiful event space that is well equipped to host large groups. They have strategically divided spaces where you can set the "purpose" or feeling for each space. The space is able to be set up for sharing slides and the lighting and greenery makes the space feel alive and welcoming. The bathrooms are very large and down a long hallway which I like because it's away from the main event. The location is easy to find. I recommend figuring out parking plans if you're going on a very busy day because there is one large parking lot and when it's full there is not many areas to park that are obvious.

Paikka is the best venue in the Twin Cities. The staff is out of this world thoughtful, and you will always be taken care of to the highest standard. Not to mention, the space is beyond stunning!

We recently had our wedding at Paikka and have only wonderful things to say! The staff were the best! Not only did they answer all of our millions of questions and emails promptly and assisted us in arranging the furniture and set up prior to the rehearsal and wedding day - they did it without question or hesitation.
All three rooms the Gold, Pink and Green room have such a vintage, modern, industrial vibe that could work for anyones taste. Plus their week day rental rates are unlike anywhere else. Trust us, having a Thursday wedding was great! It gave our guests and us a long weekend. We would definitely recommend Paikka!

My husband and I searched and searched for wedding venues after getting engaged and couldn't seem to find the right fit. When we toured PAIKKA, we knew it was the one! They are great with communication and offer fun monthly open houses to check out the space and ask questions. The space is super customizable, which is just what we wanted. The plants and greenery around the space was an added bonus for me as well and we loved having the separate pink room for guests to chat during the cocktail hour as well as later in the night. Our guests raved about how unique and pretty PAIKKA was. Simply do not have enough good words to say! It truly was the perfect venue for our reception on 8.10.19 and worth every penny!

Paikka was a no brainer when it came to choosing our venue. The style of the venue was perfect for the environment we wanted to create for our wedding day. Marlo and Angie were communicative throughout the process, they worked with us closely in creating back up plans and working with our vendors to make sure the day went smoothly. Everything came together, and the venue looked stunning for both our ceremony and reception. We loved our experience.

My wife and I recently had our wedding at Paikka and have nothing but good things to say about our experience there. The communication we received from them was timely and easy to understand. They were very easy to work with and wanted to make our day exactly how we envisioned it. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor space as well as the ability to bring in vendors to fit our needs. We had about 140 people at our recpetion and we fit in the space nicely. It is a beuatiful space and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

We loved the “blank slate” aspect of PAIKKA and the ability to bring in our choice of vendors to make the day unique and special to us. Not to mention PAIKKA is a gorgeous setting and so much fun.
