Downtown Cafe & Pizzeria

The food was amazing! I especially loved the Greek Chicken Platter. The atmosphere was also very calm and low key. The service was superb and the server was very nice. I saw someone else get a Stromboli (Calzone, but with Mozzarella Cheese) and that looked very good. Next time, I'll have to try either that, or their homemade Pizza.

Food is fresh & delicious! Everything was clean. Everyone was friendly. Banana pudding was AWESOME!!! Love this place!

Some of the best Italian food I've ever had.

I've eaten here twice and both experiences were amazing. I'm so glad we found this restaurant, since there are not a ton of options around where we live. I had the Stromboli, and it's honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. We took our four kids on a Sunday after church and they all loved it too. On Sundays, bottles of beer are only $1!

My wife and I found this place and glad we did. It was excellent, the food and service. I even got some food to go for dinner tonight. The banana pudding kind of had the consistency of whipped cream rather than pudding but that's a relatively small issue. We will be back, over and over.

We just ate here and my husband loved his Veal Parmigiana. I had a small pizza and enjoyed every bite. The Greek Salad was really special too. We Brought the leftover pizza back to our campsite neighbors and they loved it too. If you’re in their area, you’ll be pleased.

My husband and I came here for the first time on the way home from lake Jocassee. We had a Stromboli and a chicken platter. Both dishes were wonderful, but the Stromboli was the best either of us has ever had! The owner was very accommodating and the waitress was thorough and friendly as well. We love to support local restaurants, and this is definitely one we will return to! Lastly, the banana pudding was the best I’ve had, and I am not even a fan of banana pudding. Wonderful place!

Great service and enough variety on menu to please everyone. Our first visit but won't be long before we're back. Mix of Italian, Greek and American. Family friendly but adults can actually have a conversation. Tiffany our server and wonderful.

Excellent service and absolutely delicious food. I was up at Lake Hartwell for the week and decided to try this place out for lunch. I got the stuffed shells and was extremely impressed. If you're in the area, you should stop by and check it out. The menu was rather vast and offers something for almost any taste.

Had the gyro platter.... real lamb, not beef mixture, lots of flavor and tender. Fresh soft pita, lots of feta cheese on the Greek salad, and the tzatziki sauce with bits of cucumber.... just outstanding!! Better than any gyro I've had in Chicago!!! Will be back!!

New location just down the block from where they were. More room to accommodate larger group's. Great food very reasonable prices. Not overly crowded. Best before noon and after 6 pm

I am so in love with this place. The food is outstanding. Love the spaghetti and even the bread. They even have banana pudding it even has real bananas not just flavoring. And the place is so clean and nice.

We loved it!! Refreshing, atmosphere! Loved the new decor - it's lighter and brighter but remains comfortable and cozy! The food remains excellent as always!! Well worth the wait!!

The food here is always supurb and the managment is wonderful! Garlic bread, chicken parm, greek salad, pizza, stromboli, ranch dressing, and sweet tea are all favorites!! Always eat here when I'm in Lavonia from Charlotte North Carolina.

Located in downtown Laconia Georgia. Is a local Italian/Greek restaurant. Have excellent food both Greek and Italian. Prices are reasonable and the personnel is friendly. A good place to eat well and enjoy the downtown area.

The food is amazing, much better than you would expect from a small town restaurant. My favorite is Greek stromboli. The service, location, and relaxing atmosphere are above expectations, though the restaurant has had problems with heating and air conditioning in the past.

This restaurant is amazing! Delicious food, for amazing prices. The desserts they have there are homemade and mouth watering. I always look forward to visiting the area for their food.

Had supper last night there with the family and friends for the first time. Absolutely amazing food and a nice atmosphere. Will be going back soon.
