Timberroot Rustic Retreats

This is an amazing place. We stayed in the Tennessee Wall, a really nice and well equipped 2 bed tiny house. We had plenty of room and the unobstructed views are amazing. Morning hot tub session was a bonus. We chose to use the common area fire pit because it was bigger with more seating. (They even supply firewood) Party lights come on at dusk around the common area and it made for great ambiance. We are telling all of our friends how great this place is and we will definitely be back. Thanks!

Perfect stay! We stayed in the Eliza cabin for 4 nights with 2 Adults, 3 kids (1,5,10) and a dog. Plenty of space. This place was perfect for our wide age range of kids. Our two older kids slept in the loft the whole trip. They absolutely loved having their own space. There is also bunk beds in the lower part of the cabin but we never used those. Our 1 year old slept in a pack n play (that we brought from home) in the living room at night. Our dog also slept in his cage in the living room. Plenty of room for the pack n play and large cage( he’s spoiled and has a huge cage). I was worried about the train being an issue but it turned out to be one of my favorite things about this stay. The trains were not too loud and were actually pretty peaceful. Our train loving baby loved watching them go by, which was pretty often. The cabin came equipped with everything I needed to cook. It even had kids plates, bowls, cups and silverware available, which was a huge win cause the idea of the baby using a glass plate terrifies me. Walmart and Publix are both within 5 minutes of the cabin. The hot tub was a hit with the whole family. The playground was within viewing distance from our front porch so I felt comfortable with my older two kids going to play while I watched from the porch during the baby’s naptime. If you are traveling with a baby I highly recommend bringing a baby gate. I threw it in my car last minute and I was so glad I did. We kept it on the porch so the baby didn’t fall down the stairs. For the stairs leading up to the loft we just slid the chairs that are in the cabin in front so he couldn’t go up there and hurt himself. Over all the cabin was amazing and probably our favorite part of the trip. If we ever come back to Chattanooga we will definitely be staying here again.

My wife and I stayed in the Apolloni Cabin for 5 days for our 13th wedding anniversary. We Loved every minute of our stay. The cabin had everything we needed to have the most relaxing days and nights. The trains ran all night most nights which was awesome because I have a hard time sleeping but the train sounds just lulled me to sleep every night. Every staff person we spoke to was very courteous and welcoming. I don't have 1 single bad thing to say about the cabin or our stay at Wauhatchie Woodlands.

This is simply a wonderful place to stay in Chattanooga. You feel close enough to the city for exploring, but still removed and able to enjoy the surroundings a bit. Each cabin is well appointed with everything you need to stay in and cook, and to be comfortable. It’s also close to a Publix and Ruby Falls. Great spot!

Great place to stay. Close to Ruby Falls, Rock City, the Incline, and most all Chattanooga and surrounding attractions. It's just a really nice comfortable place.

What a great experience we had staying in some of timberroot cabins in TN and NC!! The amazing thing was that all the cabins have hot tubs and you can brings your own groceries and cook whatever you want. Also, they're located in the nature, surrounded by mountains. The staff is so friendly and know answers on each question, including advices how to make the most of the vacation with recommendations of really good places that are in the area. I will definitely stay there again and will highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a great and unique vacation with friends or family, especially if you like hiking, trust me, you will love it!!🤩🤩🤩

This place was a charmer. It had all the things you needed as far as feeling like you’re camping in a secluded area, but was an easy drive to anywhere in Chattanooga, TN. The cabins were quaint and inviting. They supplied all the necessities you would need. The campground itself could be a vacation of its own, and it was just a huge perk it’s in a city with so many activities as well. I really loved it. We traveled with 2 adults and 2 kids under 3, no issues. The no contact check in/out is another 👌🏼 on my list. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

I had an amazing experience staying at Welcome Valley and North Carolina cabins and I couldn't be happier!! Our family just stayed at Timberroot’s Smithsonian Retreat in Apple Valley, Utah….It was amazing!!! The views were breathtaking and we loved the southwestern style and decor. Perfect for southern Utah. The home was spacious and provided all the necessities (towels, bedding, kitchen supplies) and many luxuries, as well, including a jacuzzi tub, game room, campfire pit, and several athletic courts (tennis, basketball, and beach volleyball). We loved waking up early to see the sun reflect off the mountains and stargazing at night from the beautiful deck. Our family would highly recommend this company and property if you are looking to visit the parks in Southern Utah, though the home, itself, was a wonderful experience!

What an Amazing, Relaxing Glamping Experience! Everything was overstocked and clean. The beds were super comfortable. The atmosphere was so peaceful and the VIEW was absolutely breathtaking! My friend thoroughly enjoyed her 51st bday! Even the rain was peaceful and it was a thunderstorm! I will be booking again soon... Thank you

This tiny home was perfect for the a girls trip weekend getaway. The view is gorgeous!! The only complication my friend and I faced was that the tiny home is in central time and downtown Chattanooga is in eastern time. We were late to a few things but that is our fault. I would definitely come back here again.

We had the best time staying in the Bryce Cabin at Wauhatchie Woodlands! The cabin was exactly like the photos. We had everything we needed. The location was perfect - we felt like we were in the woods but we were super close to town and the main roads. It was the best weekend!

We loved staying here-so comfy and set up perfect! It had everything we needed. Wished we should have stayed longer—this is where we will choose to stay next time!

We had a good time at this cute little cabin. Perfect for families with kids. Lots a things to do in the area. It’s like going camping but you don’t need to haul your camper!

Enjoyed an amazing weekend with friends in North Carolina, views for days, cozy fireside chats and the hot tub was a big bonus. The cabin was beautiful, clean and super private 10/10 would recommend!

Very nice and rustic atmosphere. Even though you're next to train tracks, the cabin was very well insulated and made it quiet inside. Enjoyed the hot tub. The QR codes around the cabin were very helpful, especially with the HVAC system. Would definitely visit again

We stayed in the 'Ernie' cabin for a week. It was absolutely a perfect experience! This place is close to Chattanooga, but far enough out that no one believe were were just a couple miles from a big city. 99% of the stuff we did while there was within a 7 mile drive... Perfect in ever aspect!

The Elise Cabin was a very clean cabin. Whoever is over housekeeping is doing a great job. We didn’t see any bugs, spiders, critters in the cabin itself at all the 3 days we stayed. We were very impressed. My two little boys loved the upstairs loft. The campfire pit was awesome and you can buy firewood at the site if you didn’t bring any. We had brought a fire log to get it going. There is a waterhose by the pit to put it out afterwards. The hot tub was pretty clean and was crystal clear. This is a fantastic little hidden getaway in Chattanooga! Everyone needs to go to the mountains with their kids and just getaway from everything from time to time. We will definitely be back!!!

What a wonderful cabin to stay at! We had a family vacation here and the cabin was beautiful, views of wooded mountain side were cozy, the hot tub was such a bonus! The cabin comes with everything you need and a publix less then 10 mins away. We will stay here again the next time we are in Chattanooga. The aquarium is awesome!
