Lucy's Books

This is a wonderful small town bookstore! It's open and well lit and has an excellent variety. I love that there's a balance of genres including children's books. The staff is a very pleasant and extremely helpful.

My husband and I happened to see Lucy's Books at the end of our vacation in Astoria. We were happy we did. The store is organized well and not overwhelming like some bookstores. They also have some really neat games, puzzles, and fun gifts. Also, good local postcards for the best price. I buy a lot of postcards and stickers when I travel and had already spent quite a bit on postcards. I wish I had been to Lucy's at the beginning of the trip because there were a number of cards I purchased elsewhere for a lot more $$$.

One of my favorite bookstores in Astoria - always make a point of stopping by when in town. The staff is friendly and I love the staff recommendations. I have found many books this way and so far have not been disappointed.

Lucy's Books is my favorite bookstore! It is local to me and when I run out of reading material and am feeling that need for some more new reads, I browse Lucy's.
As I go about my days I often write the names of books I hear or read about and order the books from Lucy's. I will get a call when my books are in and pick them up.
I enjoy the experience and interaction and the lovely store.

We love visiting Lucy's, and we make it a point to go each time we visit Astoria. I like asking for recommendations based on my mood that visit. Last time I was paired with a whimsical romance and this time an historical fiction. Both were just what I was looking for.

What a great little book store! So many fun books and the little reading nook for the kids is awesome. We loved the Dr. Who tardis full of Dr. Who themed books. I love to stop here any time i am in town.

Awesome bookstore in Astoria!

I wanted to stop at one of the local bookstores to see what I could find. From the second I walked into the store, I felt very welcome. It is a very small store, but there is a quality selection of books. Some of the books I've heard seen anywhere else. I was able to have a good conversation with the owner who is an Astoria local. I am a huge fan of small businesses.

Took an “informal education” day with my 8 year old, and we walked into Lucy’s. We were greeted by Lisa, and asked for an adventure book for his age. She quickly showed us a few great options. We test drove one and it was perfect! Thank you Lisa for the recommendation! He immediately went to his bed to dig into his new treasure. Great service and perfect book to stretch his vocabulary!

Fantastic little shop! It's small, but the space is used well and the selection is great for the size. Friendly and helpful staff who genuinely love books. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something to read.

The books in this store are carefully selected to provide a wide range of genres and writing styles. Of course, there are classics like TKAM and Catcher, but you will also find the latest John Green, Wally Lamb, atypical cookbooks, humor, and local history. Like the Tardis that occupies a corner of the deceptively small store, Lucy's is definitely bigger on the inside.

Cute little book store and the owner is amazing. I work near by and went in to order a couple of books for my sister and she made the process really easy. Highly suggest this cute place!!

Great indie bookstore. The woman went out of her way to make a phone call to another merchant in town to see if they had what I was looking for, and then she even gave me directions to the other place.
