Pica's Taqueria

We LOVE Pica's! We are a family of 4, with an almost 2 year old and 5 year old, and Pica's makes dinner so easy for us. Great kids meal selection and chicken and rice my picky 5 year old will actually eat, plus a magnetic letter wall near the front the kids can play with while you decide what to order. The staff is really friendly and helpful and there are also board games, books and coloring pages for the kids. As a cherry on top, the location has tables inside and outside with beautiful decor and lots of shade!

Absolutely amazing nachos! Huge scoops of guacamole, fresh pico and sour cream, on top of amazing homemade tortilla chips, beans and cheese. The chips are too salty (on multiple visits), which is the only thing I would change. Great house margaritas, and I love that they support our local library summer reading program!

Food was really good. High quality products and taste. The aesthetics and artwork were really cool. Eating in there was fun and interesting to look around.

You do order at the counter, but I didn’t mind that. Only complaint is that it is definitely pricy, 11 dollars for a bean and cheese burrito. But, the burrito was delicious and big, so hey, you pay for the whole experience if you’re going here.

FRESH!!! Great flavors. I got a chicken tostada. This is not your average tostada- I was stuffed with nutritious fresh ingredients! I’m going to go back a lot!

Sitting outside on a sunny day is perfection. We got the chopped salad, nachos, and the Baja fish tacos. The kids were playing connect 4 while we waited.

Food could not be more tasty! I always get the happy hour nachos and add barbacoa. House margs are absolutely delicious. The service is above and beyond!!!!!

Homemade horchata 10/10! I feel like it’s rare to find legit homemade horchata anymore. What really sold me on this place though were the beet tacos. I’m a huge fan of beets and I’ve never seen anything like this. So yummy, would definitely recommend if you like beets. Also got the tostada. This tostada was amazing (see pic)… it transported me to a beach in California, I swear. It was so fresh and the guac was perfect.

Have you had their speciality tacos? If not, what are you waiting for! Top it off with a margarita and fresh chips and WOW! The outdoor seating in the summer is awesome and the lively interior is just as good in the winter. It’s a common stop for us after the Louisville farmers market.

Just when I thought I knew everything about Picas they surprise me. Last couple months I tried the Portobello tacos and they are awesome! I also tried the Torta de Milanesa which has a special ingredient that I never tried before on a torta and is DELICIOUS. The food and the prices are decent. The people here are friendly and the variety of the menu is good. I had the tacos on my first visit and the sopes on my second visit. I like this place for a nice lunch. One thing I'm missing is a real hot salsa. This is a good place that you need to try if you like mexican food.

Pica’s for the win! Me and my work partner eat here all the time and get the Chicken tinga wet burrito. My favorite burrito in town hands down. Call ourselves “Tinga Boys!”. I the few accounts I changed my meal up it has always been so so good. Thanks Pica’s we love you!

Ambiance is relaxed and inviting. It's Denver meets Boulder if you're from Colorado. Great drinks, burritos are delicious. A la carte menu is a MUST! Prices are on the higher end, but worth it!

Always a great experience at Pica’s! My husbands and I favorite local spot. The food and service never disappoint!

Phenomenal chiles rellenos. I order the same dish from every restaurant in search of the perfect stuffed Chile. This place doesn't have it but it's on the top 10 list.

I decided to add a little drive to my lunch hour and totally worth it! Great decor, pleasant staff. I tried the Pork belly taco and the Portabella taco. AMAZING!

Fresh flavorful good. Great serving size for rice. Clean. Family friendly

Huge portions! Our server recommended the beef fajitas, we split the dish and still had plenty to take home. Everything was delicious!

My favorite place for tacos! The Al Pastor can’t be beat, they make their tortillas fresh - from scratch, the atmosphere is amazing, they’ve got a big, shaded patio. We almost always end up here on Sunday afternoon whether we intend to initially or not!

Love the tacos here! Beet tacos are good and unique. Chips and salsa are so fresh too! They make all their own tortillas on site.

We have two words for Pica's in Louisville: So good! We have thoroughly enjoyed everything we've tried here, and the menu is extensive enough it'll be a long time before we've tried everything. (My personal favorite are the chile rellenos, but with refried beans rather than the standard black beans.) Meals come out fresh and hot, flavors are scrumptious and varied, and the horchata is a tasty treat. Staff is friendly, fun, and attentive; give everyone a raise! 😀

Great food and fast service! Excellent beers on tap and the margaritas are on point. Burritos or tacos, you can’t go wrong!
