Medicaid Services

I would like to say thank you to the medicaid office for helping us through the process of renewing my brother's insurance
His life depends on his medicine and I am ever so grateful for the kind people who have helped us get through the process.

I would also like to say an extra thank you to Mikayla! Not sure if I spelt her name right, but not only was she kind and caring, she made sure my brother got taken care of and helped us with the issues we were having.
Thank you guys so much! Truly appreciate you all.

They have always seemed nice, and helpful to me. Not once have I been treated rudely. I think they get a lot of people who expect instant gratification, even though they didn’t do what they were expected to do. I’ve heard, and seen this many times. Treat them with respect and you will be treated the same way.

Medicaid services are fine sometimes you have to send your bill back in but after that they usually take care of it and get everything back on track for you

Like all Government Agencies they do not have any competition so some workers are kinda rude. After a surgery my family needed help during my recovery; we worked with a couple case managers and had great to bad experience with whom we dealt with.

I feel like i battle with them for medical help every 3 months and now they say i have medicaid but pharmacy says i dont i dont get it all i freaking need is a inhaler i have asthma and because of this i cant see me lung specialist. i'm starting to really get tired of this.

Phone number they have on website is no good and just loops then hangs up on you

I'm giving a one star review due to a nice person was at the office, but it appalls me that there's people getting health insurance that don't deserve it. I watched some old man get into a brand new fancy truck! The medicaid should be for people who NEED it. It boggles my mind. Also, they never answer their phones. I'm not usually one to give a bad review but my son and I have been waiting and waiting for a year or so just so we can go get our health taken care of... it's not fair... at least let my child get what he needs. I'm deeply disappointed... 😞

The public health system in Montana really is not very helpful for the most part. The hours here are incorrectly posted on the site. They dont open until 9 am. If you do not wish to have your personal information shared directly at the front desk, it can be complicated. While i do understand that this is a complicated job, and that workers are often having to deliver bad news to people, having empathy and being respectful of the privacy of clients would be appreciated. I was asked in front of a roomful of people if I was able to bear children. (I just had a hysterectomy a month and a half ago) and I was told that my post office has an issue delivering mail from DPHHS- Which is impossible. My town population is 51- i know my postmaster personally- if mail addressed to my name with an address in mars would be delivered to me. If someone could answer phone calls, or even help people with their application, or even just explain things, it would help clients and it would overall make the job of the staff easier. Im a tax payer, and I am currently in need of insurance and I make very little money because im a full time student. I left the office with the information i needed but left feeling dehumanized and still without insurance.

You never can get the right phone number for the Butte welfare office. You get an automated service and never can talk to a actual person it's a pain

On hold for over four hours for the second time and no pick up. Likely going to lose my health insurance because of this

Appointment with disability services after being on the waiting list for two years was a waste of time. No help whatever.

I called to get some info and help and the guy straight up told me "you need to call medicaid services".

Horrible service.

Rude and they do not listen to you.

4hrs on hold never got answered.
