8th Street At the Ivy

Had a great solo dinner with delicious food. Katie G provided amazing service and helped me decide what to eat from all the great options. I had the ribs and steak quesadilla. Both were good but the quesadilla was my favorite and filling. The restaurant was full of people that sounded like they too enjoyed their meals and evening. Plenty of parking and service dogs allowed inside the restaurant.

Peter the general manager was awesome with a slight issue we had, he personally handled it in a very professional & timely manner! He knows how to treat customers and I would give him and his entire staff 10 stars if I could! Food & service was excellent! This is in my opinion the best dinning in Cody!! PS: the dessert Peter recommended was absolutely delicious!!

8th Street at the Ivy is a hidden gem in Cody! It's easily one of the best restaurants in town. Delicious food, casual atmosphere and the staff is fantastic. Highly recommend!

What a great restaurant! It is actually located in a hotel, and you have to get there early, as it seems to fill quickly. The food was outstanding--delicious and elegant. Our service was also terrific. She was professional and caring. No need to ask her for anything, as she was attentive to needs. I am attaching some photos, so you can get an idea of the quality of this outstanding restaurant.

Excellent dinner! This is probably the best dinner I’ve had at a restaurant in Cody in a long time. I ordered the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly. My boys had a half rack of ribs and the chicken parmesan, which they made short work of. Even they commented on how good the food was, which is unusual for them. Service was quick, courteous, and correct. Our server, Nicole, was great. Actually all of the staff was working together and many people checked on us throughout our meal. We had an appetizer of steak quesadilla which was probably the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. Paired up with a Speed Goat Ale and the meal was perfect.

Hannah was the most attentive and kind waitress. I was pleased with the fair prices and quick service. I had the vegetable beef barley soup with a Caesar salad then the crab cakes. I enjoyed the flavor of the Caesar dressing and how the croutons weren't tough to chew. Unfortunately the soup was overly salty and I would have liked the other flavors to come through. The crab cakes were perfectly cooked and flavored, where as the bed of sauce had a surprisingly pungent flavor of some hot sauce but finished with a creamy note. Overall very pleased since I don't go out to eat as often as I used to 😊.

After living in Cody for a year and a half, I finally made the decision to try the restaurant at the Ivy Hotel on 8th St across from the Ponderosa RV Park. From the moment we sat down to the time we left, I was convinced that I had just discovered my new favorite restaurant in Cody. The wait staff is timely, professional, and provided us with some of the best customer service that I've found in this town. Our meals were served hot and had great presentation. To the taste of each course that was included, I can only say delicious. I was so impressed I asked for the chef to come out to our table. I wanted to express my appreciation for his great skill and how his support staff completed the total experience. So if you're in Cody for the first time or have lived there for many years, you need to stop in for a meal at The Ivy located in the Best Western on 8th Street. You won't be disappointed.

I have been to the restaurant 3 times now and have had a great experience each time! I love ribs and I have to tell you, I have tried them at numerous restaurants in Cody, and NONE of them are as good as 8th Street At the Ivy. The wait staff has been great as well. We love everything about this restaurant and plan on making this a go to for date night!

Great service and great food. The crab cakes for appetizers were delicious. They had a spicy sauce that came with them. For the entre, I got the fish and chips. The fish was NOT greasy and had a great taste. Also, the fries were fresh, not greasy.

They have a very good and very diverse "Western/eastern" American menu, all of it is good. The breakfast chicken fried steak is excellent. I've been coming here for years, and nothing on the menu any time of day has been a disappointment.

A true 10/10 experience. We had breakfast today and stacy our waitress was terrific. The food was super good. We ordered the eggs benedict, the sunriser, and the oatmeal. All were 10/10. And I'm not saying this as a local with no taste buds, as many people are content with Grannies unseasoned garb. As someone that knows flavor, this was actually terrific. Thank you!

The food here is very good. We enjoyed everything we ate (2 apps, blackened salmon Cesar, and 2 entrees). The dessert was very good as well

Amazing food, fast, splendid service.
The only flaw was that the delicious homemade bun was not warm.

Dinner was perfect. The food was excellent, and the service was spot on. All in all, this is my new favorite dinner restaurant in Cody. Definitely will be going back for another terrific meal.

Katie did an awesome job as our server. The management was very attentive and made the experience even better. The food got a 4 Stat simply because of one mistake. Overall very good place to meet, eat and converse. The atmosphere lends a comfortable feeling and is easy to relax.

It looked like so many businesses that are short on staff. At least that day. Empty tables, but we had 20 minutes wait. But when we got in the staff was so friendly, the food was excellent and there were good portions. We will go back again when in the area. Bonus is we got to see the solar eclipse there, too.

I’ve been a consistent customer for several years and have always enjoyed prompt, friendly service, excellent food, and a fun menu variety.

Looked online for somewhere that had Eggs Benedict in Cody. This place popped up and I was happy it did! Looks expensive and fancy but is really reasonable. I had the Blue Crab Benedict and hubby had the Wamma Jamma with a pecan roll. Delish! I also had a bloody Mary while he had a screwdriver. Our tab was a little over 30$ with tip and we were both happily stuffed.

The food was good but the service was exceptional. Host was so great, I overheard him remembering a travelling couple from the previous summer and greeting them. It was so wonderful to hear such great service. The waitress was so uncommonly friendly we were a bit shocked, all around great experience. Food was good but all staff we encountered was even better.

Friendly server and good foods. That's all we needed after a long road trip.
