Granny's Restaurant

Really good breakfast! I had the Granny's Special and it is a generous plate of two eggs, hash browns, and choice of meat with toast and jelly. The hash browns were cooked to perfection with the right mix of crispy and creamy textures. My eggs "over easy" were spot on. Two large sausage patties completed the picture. Highly recommended!

Good home cooking! Great staff! Our waitress Candy was awesome!! Definitely recommend this place and I will be back if we are in the area.

Great service. My coffee never made it past half full before someone filled it up:) The chicken fried steak was great. Give this place a try. It was great from start to finish.

Stopped in for a quick bite before leaving town and heading into Yellowstone no problem. Staff were friendly and attentive-topping off coffee, stopping to check if we needed anything additional, etc. Food came out fast and there were decent sized portions at a very reasonable price.

Candy waited on us, and we only had a small window to grab a late breakfast. She was very friendly and efficient, took care of our order, and got us on our way in time!
The pancakes are delicious, and mom's chicken fried steak was so large that she had to take half to go.
We both agree that the sausage gravy was way too peppery (over seasoned with black pepper). I couldn't enjoy the biscuits and gravy. They seemed to have used the sausage gravy on the chicken fried steak, as well, which I thought a bit odd.
We didn't complain because we always have a great experience and great food at Granny's. We will keep visiting when we are in Cody.

Really needed a quasi-healthy dish and this was the place to stop and get it. Very friendly, very fast and had just the salad i needed, along with grilled chicken on top and a side of perfectly grilled texas toast!

This is very easy to find in Cody, I checked opening hours on Google, it said it was closed but I found it open. I was given a table to myself immediately. I ordered the Granny's Special breakfast. 2 rashers streaky bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs & toast. 10/10 for service, 4 refills of coffee! Very reasonable $13, staff very polite and professional. I understand why this diner is so busy. Well done Granny's Restaurant, I'll be back.

If you're in the mood for some classic comfort food, Granny's Restaurant is a great spot to check out on Cody, WY. I stopped by for breakfast after visiting Yellowstone and had the eggs benedict, which were pretty solid - the hollandaise sauce was creamy and the eggs were cooked nicely. The menu has a variety of options for all sorts of cravings, from pancakes and waffles to sandwiches and burgers.

One thing I appreciated was the generous portion sizes - definitely enough to fuel you up for the day. The atmosphere is cozy and homey, with friendly service from the staff.

Very nice and quaint little diner in Cody! The food was delicious and hot, they're short staffed like everywhere, so patience is needed, but it's worth the wait! Nice folks!

you know what, once you season up your food on your own its delicious. the coffee tasted like my grandpas coffee, the interior was old and charming, the staff is attentive and so friendly. i had the farmer's favorite and i love it ♥

The car park was full and so were we after breakfast here. Old style diner with unusual options. I had the pork green chilli which was not at all spices. We had to line up for 20 minutes such is its popularity.

We had the Southern Breakfast. 2 eggs, bacon, 2 biscuits and sausage gravy. Excellent! Eggs were perfect, bacon was delicious, biscuits and gravy were outstanding. If we were to return we’d probably ask for only one biscuit because they were so huge we couldn’t eat two.

We had the meatloaf and the salad bar; everything was delicious. I like the Seniors menu; it’s a smaller serving which is the perfect size to not overeat.

The pecan pie is a delicious pastry topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel; SUPER DELICIOUS!

I asked for a decaf coffee to go; Jen Gould was so positive and willing to brew a fresh pot. The fresh coffee was excellent.

We are traveling through and Jen Gould offered things to do and visit. She is a great waitress and super kind and helpful.❤

Amazing find, gem of a place. A very nice lady (Natasha) served the food. The place is warm, authentic and the food delicious and fresh. Highly recommended.
I am from NYC, driving from Montana to Denver, stopped for lunch. Pleasantly surprised and full.

Our waitress Susan was so nice and wonderful to talk to. She gave us some pointers on the area and Yellowstone National Park. She was very courteous and polite. The food was absolutely wonderful. The amount per serving was more than enough to fill you up and the taste was beyond mention. The food was fantastic. Thank you Susan for the wonderful experience.

Exactly what you’d expect. Solid diner food with extremely sweet and friendly staff. Came all the way up from Texas with my son and father in law and weren’t treated like tourists. Felt right at home here! Enjoyed the farmers special and son got a pancake with chocolate chips. Beware their pancakes are huge!

Tables and chairs are a bit close to be comfortable. Most excellent food and great service but they do give you quite a bit of food with their prices.

This is def the best restaurant in Cody!! I came here 2 times during my trip. Waited 30 mins each time, worth it 👍🏼

Not a single thing about which to complain here! We've stayed in Cody nearly a week; this was our third sit down breakfast and easily the best experience.
Polite and attentive staff, the most prompt service one could expect, and the food was great, particularly for the very reasonable price point. One must order a cinnamon roll... OMG. It's a meal on its own, and perfectly fluffy.
Save yourself the trouble of searching for the go-to breakfast spot in Cody.
